I would strongly recommend Roger and Safari Lifestyles
Safari Lifestyles organised our two week safari in the Okavango Delta, Botswana for my family of five from Sydney (April 2017, Jacana Camp, Machaba Camp, Kings Pool camp). I wanted an reputable operator that was locally based and had genuine/recent expert knowledge. I was also very nervous about sending money off to a foreign country over the internet. Roger Turski and Safari Lifestyles were very responsive by email at every turn. Roger was also available to speak with over Skype which was reassuring. In the end, the safari exceeded our wildest dreams. Three camps, all great but all different; a very well balanced trip. Seamless transfers, great guides. It is a challenging environment, so t was even more impressive how smoothly everything went. Roger has been to many of the camps himself, photographed them himself, and was clearly passionate about delivering a trip exceeded our wishes. The entire trip was prepaid with *everything* included as designed. I spent two weeks without any keys or wallet in my pockets which was a personal highlight of the trip. We opted to tip our guides and buy a few trinkets but that was it whilst we were on safari.

Professional
Roger was very professional in his approach and understood my requirements after one phone conversation. His recommendations were exactly what we were looking for, which made our time in the bush very memorable. We have been on many safaris with other companies but none of them have offered the personal touch that Roger offers. He knows his facts and being local makes a great difference on understanding the circumstances compared to companies who are far away from Botswana. We stayed at Tau Pan, Lebala and Little Machaba and each camp had its own special niche which Roger highlighted in detail as he visits these areas regularly. The floods affected many of the camps but Roger was able to reassure us that the camps he recommended were fine. I highly recommend Safari Lifestyles and guarantee you will not be dissapointed.

First Class Company
From the first email contact made with Roger, he was very prompt in responding and answering questions. I explained what we were hoping for and he planned the perfect itinerary. All transfer services were right on time, friendly drivers and comfortable vehicles. Lodges/camps were perfectly located and just all around wonderful. Roger also arranged a few Delta flights for us and those were on time, pleasant and unexpected fun!
deposit and final payment were simple to make, details were emailed to us with instructions. At every point of entry/exit, we were met by someone who guided us to where we needed to be. We all highly recommend Roger and Safari Lifestyles.

Great trip by Safari Lifestyles
Our children are awkward ages and we struggled to get what we wanted in South Africa initially but then came across Safari Lifestyles who recommended a few options for Botswana which we initially thought we couldn't get to.
Lodges were out of our reach for 5 of us but Roger organised a private mobile safari for just us.... we were surprised at the price turning out to be very reasonable for 9 nights.
This was brilliant and a huge education not only in nature but in life for us all, especially the kids who being the outdoors type back home, loved it.
Elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs. giraffe, etc etc and especially for Samantha our youngest whose only interest was in warthogs. we saw everything close up.
I guess this review is asking whether you should consider using Safari Lifestyles, well we think they are the absolute best!!!!

Incredible Botswana wildlife with Safari Lifestyles
I wanted to firstly just say that this has to be one of the best vacations we have ever had.... Botswana is simply beautiful and we had an incredible wildlife safari.
Initially it was a difficult choice between Tanzania and Botswana but we could not have made a better choice.
We came across Safari Lifestyles though a friend and they were amazingly helpful and very quick to respond. They have photographer who showed us his images of the wildlife from the places we wanted to go and his advice was the reason we chose Botswana.
Thanks to Roger and the team for an incredible memory!!... 10 nights in lodges without too much rushing around. We want now come back in a different season to experiences the differences in the country.
Highly recommend Safari Lifestyles

They are the reason why you should always choose a local tour opeartor!!
Extremely well organized and informed.
We were two couples from England and had taken plenty of advice already, much of which Safari Lifestyles agreed with and some not agreed with. What they did was to get the "on the ground" details just right... they obviously know all the areas very well and were able to pass on their feelings to us fluently.
I think being on location really does mean they are the most experienced in providing you with simply the best safari. Our lodge experiences were simply spot on.
Seriously good show.

Very well thought out and and very helpfull
We had only been to the Kruger area before a few years ago and had heard how wonderful Botswana is from a friend of our who had booked with Safari Lifestyles previously.
Kruger feels much smaller the reserves we went to seemed like blocks where you could not travel far. Botswana is huge in comparison and we really felt we were in a wild area and not a game park.
We contacted Roger and he was polite and very helpful and is obviously very experienced. He showed us his amazing photographs from the areas he recommended and the lodges he sent us too were very good... and he was right that in December the prices are lower but it is still not rainy ... we saw no rain...
This is the best safari we can imagine and we saw everything like wild dogs and a caracal at night..
We would recommend Safari lifestyles and Botswana very much.

Great planning by the safari Lifestyles team
We had only been to Kenya a long time ago and had no real experience of southern Africa.... we considered a few other countries to go to, and were convinced by Roger mainly due to his knowledge and and quick responses, that Botswana and the Okavango was the place to vacation.
We are so happy and had an awesome time in the lodges... brilliant staff and guides.... seriously a trip of a lifetime... next time a camping safari to get a little more "scared"... beats LA any day.

The bush at it's best !!
What another exceptional and unforgettable trip this bush experience was ! The two camps visited in the north of the Okavango delta were at the highest standard; the people - all the staff - have been outstanding by their knowledge, their passion, their desire to share. With a very special mention to Shawn in Machaba : thank you so much !
The preparation of that trip with Safari Lifestyles has been perfect; we got exactly what we were expecting with the African bush hospitality and the specific game we wanted to see! Leopards were there in quantity!!
Very well done guys and a big thank you

Roger Turski listened to us and delivered a magnificent product. Exactly what we were hoping for.
We spent 4 days/nights in Machaba and 3 in Lebala camps and could not have hoped for a better experience. Roger made sure that we would have Shaun as tracker/driver in Machaba. Our main objective was leopards and Shaun is for sure the most ardent admirer of that animal. He allowed us to spend countless hours living with a mother and son, gorging on a gazelle, chasing waterbucks and posing on trees. Absolutely beautiful. Large numbers of elephants, hippos, giraffes, all species of gazelles, baboons, and 3 lionesses feasting on a small giraffe. The camp was perfectly managed by Elke (Belgian origin as me and Shaun's wife), the set up magnificent, the food delicious and the tents pretty comfortable even without A/C. A large bull elephant came by to say hello, almost in our tent. Lebala was different in its set up mostly because of the dry season and water was less visible. But we saw fantastic wildlife as well: a 20+ family of wild dogs "playing" with a large elephant, a pride of 5 lionesses and their 7 kiddos hunting on warthogs and feasting on one of them, countless fish eagles and elephants, some buffaloes, onyxes, 3 male lions taking it easy, hippos everywhere and very close to the camp, and of course all possible gazelles. The camp was very comfortable as well, including a charming show organized by the staff during our going out party dinner in the wild. And the cherry on the cake was: no internet. What a pleasure not to be compelled to check that feature every 5 minutes. Thanks to Roger, Elke, Shaun and the staffs, it will be a fantastic souvenir.
