Thank you to Victor who deserves 6 stars
We had the chance to have Victor for one game. He is absolutely amazing! The bush walks were nice but shorter than expected (specially the 1st one).
I hesitated between the tent and the tree house and opted for the tree house which was alright but the mosquito net didn't fit the bed properly (set too high) and therefore I would have definitely preferred the tent.
The dinner in the bush on the first night was magical!

Patti was Amazing. She assisted us with our bookings and ensured everything went smoothly
We went with ViVa Safaris last September 2023, For our amazing Safari Tours. We were assisted by Patti, she went beyond helping us, as our flight was delayed by 2 hours. Patti and the team made sure that we were able to join our guided tour on the day of our arrival. Despite the delays, everything else went smoothly. The accommodation, tours, services, and The Wonderful Staff that make ViVa Safari have made our experience truly memorable. We highly recommend ViVa Safari who is looking to have a great adventure!…Many thanks again ViVa Safari❤️

Great experience
This was my first time on safari. Because of that I did not know much about what to expect. I wanted to experience a little bit of everything. Naturally, I decided to rely on experts - tour organizers. I found some info on the internet about the 4 -day Tremisana lodge/Marc's tent safari. Lodging option included a combination of solid wall lodge and tent accommodations, which I wanted to try. The tour operator appeared to be Viva Safaris. From the very beginning I did not have any issues with the company. All my questions were answered the same day via email by Patricia, who made all organizational issues resolved quickly and efficiently. The safari itself matched my expectations. Our guides managed to show us almost everything we could hope for. And we had a chance to see wildlife in different light conditions - we had morning, day, and night game drives, we had bush walks. One night in a tent was especially memorable - it was a windy rainy night full of sounds. It was hard to sleep while howling hyenas roamed 200 feet away from my tent, or monkeys went crazy around my tent. But that was my choice, I cannot blame organizers for sleepless night. The company can tailor accommodations according to your preferences. After all, it was a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone.

A fantastic safari tour
Viva Safari was fantastic. We did a 5 day tour which was organised so well. The rangers who took us out were very experienced and the staff at the hotel were lovely. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing trip with very helpful staff
This was such a wonderful experience! I initially came out as a solo female traveler and felt very safe and well cared for! They were super helpful ensuring my friend arrived later and got her there safe as well.
Really enjoyed the activities and all the guides were wonderful.
Did not get to see the leopard or cheetah in the wild so I believe this means I need to come back :)
Saw wild rhinos, giraffes, elephantsz hippo (from afar) and mating lion pairs which were all so so amazing!!

Viva safaris was above our expectations!
Me and my two sisters did the 5-Day Tremisana Safari with Viva Safari. It was our first safari and the experience was above our expectations!!!
The private game drives in the balule reserve were awesome and felt more adventurous, and we did get to see the most popular animals in the reserve (Lion, elephant, zebra, rhino, hippo, leopard, giraffe, etc.. ) .
Then for two days that we went to the kruger national park, we saw a greater quantity and a diversity of animals. Kruger did felt less private (more cars at each sightseeing). But we did enjoy being able to do both the private and kruger game drive.
All the guides that we had with viva safari were incredible (especially KG, Rocky, Smiley). They were all great to be around, friendly, very resourceful and interesting. The bush walk was a great experience too.
The staff at the Tremisana lodge were amazing. The food was excellent and there was always plenty of food (way too much actually).
Patricia really helped us with the booking and to prepare for the safari. The communication was always on point. The pick up from the Johannesburg airport and return was well organized. We did enjoy the panorama route (Blyde canyon) on our way back.
And don't forget to bring some warm clothes if you go in September, it is cold in the early morning and when the sun sets. So make sure to check the weather and bring a warmer coat (advice from a canadian used to cold weather).
Thank you Viva Safari for that wonderful experience!! I will be back one day!!
