A Perfect Safari !
We had an amazing time!
The organisation was simply just perfect from the first contact with Patti until the final drop off! It's all super well organized and we really appreciated that!
All of the staff working for Viva Safaris did a great job for us to have the best tour whatsoever at the Tremisana Lodge or during the transfers as well as on the safaris.
Again, a big thanks to all of them!
We definitely recommend Viva Safaris, and hopefully we will come back to see the two last "Big Five" we are missing :-) !!

Amazing safari experience- trip of a lifetime!
Viva Safaris and Tremisana Lodge…where do I start?
My friend Molly and I were picked up in Johannesburg on Friday and, beginning with our drivers George and Solly, every single staff member we met was beyond hospitable.
We chose to stay at Tremisana instead of moving to the Treehouse or other lodge after the first night, since we didn’t want to keep packing up and moving around on the trip. I’m happy with our decision. Tremisana is peaceful and cozy, with a small pool surrounded by lush greenery and 2-3 small dining/lounging areas. It definitely felt like Africa, with monkeys popping in, large trees and plants, and colorful artwork. The room was rustic, cozy, and very clean, thanks to Audrey.
Patti was kind and helped coordinate from the main office. Rai took amazing care of us from start to finish, and the rest of the staff was like a family. Every person knew who we were, what our schedule was each day, and went out of their way to provide a great experience. It was incredible to have home-cooked meals made by Mama D. Elvis prepared a braai meal fireside under the stars our first night. Uri accommodated us at Kruger and was a wealth of knowledge on the animal kingdom. Raymond determinedly off-roaded us to a couple of rhinos followed by a pride of lions on our night drive. And last, but definitely not least, Elias (aka Smiley, aka Halala, aka Hakuna Matata) made every excursion exciting and fun. We got up close and personal with elephants and hiked at sunrise to the water to find the hippos, but were always kept safe. Elias had a big personality, educating us while making everyone laugh. He definitely made the trip memorable.
Each day had at least a few hours of activities including local game drives, a tour of the animal rehabilitation center, and a day trip to Kruger National Park. We had some pool time in the sun between activities a couple days as well. I think our 4-night booking was absolutely perfect. Any less and you may not see all the animals you want or the “big five.” And you’re definitely tired after 4-5 days in the hot sun and a bumpy vehicle, though we were still sad to leave.
Unless you want a more expensive 5-star, more sheltered accommodation, I would recommend Tremisana Lodge and Viva Safaris to anyone. I am laid back and appreciative to be able to do things like this, but do have high expectations of my travel experiences. People who travel tend to take time off work and spend a lot of money and want to enjoy these trips. My friend and I were impressed with the organization, communication and daily processes so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Thank you to the company and staff for an unforgettable lifetime memory!

Excellent customer service
I had a great time doing a mixture of drives on a private game reserve and in the Kruger public park. I would recommend to anyone wanting to head to greater kruger

Professional
I found the entire co-ordination from the start to be very professional. During these Covid times, as is the case, I had to alter my travel plans. Viva Safaris was kind enough to accommodate. The safari was as described in their brochure. Smooth pickup, good locations and guides, on-time drop off. Friendly staff who also made customized dishes for me (vegetarian). I recommend Viva Safaris for those looking at a visit to the Balule/Kruger National Park.

Excellent service and experience
We just finished the 5 night stay at Tremisana and already have the blues. The Safari experience was fantastic and unforgettable. Going to 2 different reserves gives you a chance to experience different animal encounters. The staff were so helpful and always happy to assist with whatever we needed. We even got an extra quick morning drive that wasn't scheduled because the ranger knew some lions were close.
The vibe at the lodge was calm and relaxing. Whilst the food provided by Mama D was homely and always so tasty. We plan to come back in the future when we get the Safari itch again!

Such a great experience with so many kind and helpful staff.
Since the moment I arrived all the staff (safari guides, cooks and the tour operator customer assistant) were so kind and friendly!
They really tried their best to let us see the big 5 and get the most of our time!
Their lodge was exceptional and very clean.

Great service for a memorable tour
Having tried to book the tour for 2020, it made me sad that everything got cancelled. They saved my deposit and when I rebooked for June 2021, they were happy to oblige. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, my initial flight got cancelled and would I would have missed my tour. However, they were able to rebook me for later in the week. They bent over backwards to make sure I got my safari. The driver picked me up at my friend's house and then picked up the other tour participant. We stayed at Marc's Treehouse Resort and had a marvelous time. The game drives were very good with drivers who knew how and where to find animals for us to photograph. The personal service was friendly, communications were quick and accurate, and the tour itself was the trip that I will talk about for years. I will return and retake this tour again with pleasure.

Breathtaking and life-changing experience--trip of a lifetime--seriously!
I took this trip with my sister-in-law (and best friend) in 2019. We still talk about it over and over again. The memories of the time spent in South Africa have sustained us through this past year of pandemic madness, a very disturbing political time in our country and personal family crises.
Some highlights--
warm, friendly, knowledgeable guides who obviously love and appreciate this beautiful country
rustic, authentic, yet comfortable, accommodations
well planned and orchestrated activities that filled our days with amazing experiences and numerous animal sightings (far beyond expectations)
meeting and making connections with people from all over the world and sharing delicious, home made meals with them as we discussed the days' adventures
and so much more...
I can't begin to adequately thank you for the most amazing adventure of a lifetime!!
