Exceeded our high expectations!
5/5

Our family of four adults did a nine days « highlights of Uganda » tour, which was our first safari. We found Wild Jungle Trails on this website and selected them because of their excellent reviews. Because of these excellent reviews, we had very high expectations and I can happily say that Wild Jungle Trails still managed to exceed our expectations. Teresa in the office was very helpful with the organizing and planning and then we were met at the airport upon arrival by our guide Twaha. You could not ask for a better guide than Twa! He is professional, personable, knowledgeable and experienced. Not only did we enjoy his company tremendously, but we always felt safe and well looked after by him. We felt like he truly wanted us to have the best experience possible and he succeeded in providing that for us. We opted for the luxury package and the hotels/lodges were amazing. This also included travel in the 4x4 Landcruiser which was the best way to travel (especially when there was always a fresh water bottle waiting for us each morning.). We highly recommend this company and their safaris!

Incredible Safari in Uganda.
5/5

All arrangements with Teresa were swift and excellent. we added two days in Queen Elizabeth Park to the three day gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. I was picked up promptly. Twaha was my driver and guide. he was a wonderful company, upbeat, informative, enthusiastic, attentive, knowledgeable and caring. The accommodation exceeded my expectations. The country is so very beautiful. I know Africa well and found Uganda outstanding for many reasons.

Highlights were of course spending time with the gorillas. This was beyond imagining. Also, the intensity of game and boat ride on the Kazinga Channel was brilliant. Thank you and congratulations to the team. I enjoyed every single moment with you. i entirely recommend wild jungle trails.

Gorilla safari and wildlife Tour.
5/5

If you are interested in gorilla trekking and seeing wildlife or other parts of Uganda, we highly recommend Wild Jungle Trails Safaris. This was our first trip to Uganda. Teresa in the home office was very responsive during the planning process and our trip was perfect! The lodging chosen was wonderful. Our guide, Remmy, was amazing. Not only did he have an incredible amount of knowledge regarding the animals, he was a pleasure to spend an entire week with. We thought this would be our once-in-a-lifetime trip to Uganda. After visiting, we would love to return. If we do, there is no question that we will book again using Wild jungle Trails Safaris. They are exceptional!

Profesional and friendly
5/5

We did a 10 day private tour with Mosis our guide. Very good 4x4 with possibility to open the roof for all the game drives. The mid-range lodges were very good quality:beautiful scenery, very friendly staff, excellent food, unstable wifi only in common area. Mosis was very friendly. Despite the nearly daily long hours of drive on tough roads, he was flexible with the busy schedule, accommodating at best our needs. Teresa, before the trip, responded to all of our questions promptly and precisely and made sure everything was fine during our trip. The tour was a very good mix between beautiful sceneries, chimpanzees and gorillas trek, safari, optional community walks (very interesting) and shopping for crafts. After consideration, we should have considered flying into Ruanda, closer to Bwindi and Kibale. Thank you so much for this unforgettable days in your lovely country Uganda.

Twa was personable, fun, knowledgeable, and he knew where to find all the animals, inc lions!
5/5

I have been on three safaris with Wild Jungle Trails and I would never use any other tour. This June we were able to go on a morning and evening game drive and in doing so we saw the sun rise and set! It was breathtaking! We saw a large herd of elephants and giraffes up close and personal. We also were able to see a lion in a tree (which I understand is highly unusual), a lion sitting in the grass, and four lions plus three lion cubs lying in the shade under a small clump of bushes. It was amazing! Twa is the best guide you could ever hope for. He knows how to find the animals everyone wants to see and he is able to get very close to them. He always makes sure we have plenty of time to take pictures and asks us to tell him when we want to go or stay longer on the site. He is also very fun and engaging! He will tell you interesting facts about the land, the Nile river, and all the animals you will find there. He picked us up promptly when he was supposed to and provided a clean and comfortable vehicle and ride. I could not expect more from his tours. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Wild Jungle Trails operations and Twa as your guide!

4 day Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth
5/5

I would recommend Wild Jungle Trails! I contacted more than 15 companies and WJT offered the most competitive price and a good itinerary.
The lodges are nice but nothing luxurious.
The highlight is the guide, Twaha! First and foremost, safaris involves a lot of driving but I have always felt that I was in safe hands!
The best part was when he was in the parks looking for animals! He would always be calling other guides in the park to see where the animals are - he really puts in his efforts! And you can tell he is well connected with other guides from different companies since he would stop for a short chat with other passing by safari vehicles.
The outcome was super positive as well! I managed to see lions and a leoperd in just one day!!

Was a great trip with top notch guides/drivers. Saw some things I had not seen before when on Safaris. I would highly encourage anyone considering a trip to Uganda/Murchison Falls to book it through these fine folks. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

Fun and incredible!
5/5

Twaha is incredibly professional and is a great communicator. He truly does whatever he can to make the tour as safe and enjoyable as possible. We went to Murchison Falls National park and it was nothing short of amazing. While no 2 game drives are alike, each one we went on (an afternoon/evening drive and a sunrise drive) was just as awesome as the last. They love to answer questions and will tell you anything you'd like to know about the area, the wildlife, or their work in general. Highly highly highly recommend utilizing Wild Jungle Trails for an experience you will never forget!

GORILLAS - Great Value & Service
5/5

Wild Jungle Trails exceeded our expectations for a three day gorilla trekking tour to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwestern Uganda. We selected Wild Jungle Trails for our trip based on their value pricing and trip flexibility to accommodate our itinerary. We began communicating with Teresa of Wild Jungle Trails over six months in advance of our trip. She always responded promptly to our emails, even though there was a 9 hour time difference between our countries. Every item on our agreed to itinerary was accomplished within the schedules that they provided to us.
Our driver, Fred, met us promptly at our hotel for our 9 hour drive from Entebbe, Uganda to Bwindi. Fred was very flexible with our schedules and accommodated anything we wished to do along the way. Fred was always at our beckoned call for the three day adventure with transportation service when we needed it. He is an experienced 15 year veteran of guiding these types of trips and made our long drive very enjoyable. We even continue to maintain contact with Fred since we have returned home.
Gorilla trekking is a once in lifetime experience that most people will never have the opportunity to enjoy. We initially wondered if the cost for permits, at $600 USD per person for a one hour visit with the gorillas, was worth the cost. It is amazing to be face to face with a 450 pound silverback, where you are so close that you can smell his musky aroma! He even stood up and pounded his chest for us a couple of times. Natural animal encounters don't get any better than that - it's worth twice the price or more!
You don't expect friendships to evolve with travel agency staff, but the personalized and friendly service that we received from Teresa and Fred of Wild Jungle Trails made for a lasting relationship that we would recommend to any traveler wishing to experience the wonders of Uganda.
