You can't get any better than THE BEST!
Words cannot describe the amazing adventure my husband and I had on our 7-day safari! Everything from the immediate response to my first email inquiry to the sad farewell we had to bid our incredible guide, and the many months of Joao's customized planning and friendly conversation in between, went far beyond our every expectation. The entire staff is top notch! We dreamed for years of a private safari for two but never imagined it could become a reality. We chose the camping to better fit within our budget and couldn't imagine doing it any other way. Our guide Emma made each and every day extra special and we enjoyed his personality immensely! We were also blown away by the quality of food. Pascali kept good care of us and my vegetarian needs. I think I must have gained 5kg with all of that great cooking! It was a fantastic experience and worth every dollar.If camping is not your style, I'm sure you will be equally thrilled with any of their accommodation options. Look no further than It Started in Africa! They take the time to listen to your needs and offer suggestions you may never think to consider or ask about. Every question is answered and nothing goes undone. You can simply relax and enjoy your adventure knowing they have every detail covered. Once it starts in Africa, you will not want it to end. Great guide, Great tour, Great company - we couldn't expect any better!
We wanted to have 2-days tour of the Masai Mara. We came especially for that to Kenya. We had a great guy coming to our hotel - Ben - who picked us up and took us downtown to meet Chris, the manager. We met lovely people and very honest who explained us what we are going to have. Ben brought plenty of water and we went on our Safari tour for two days.
Everything was excellent. We arrived on time to the hotel ( a 5-stars hotel in the Safari!) and did our first day, then on the day after we had another half day and then drove back.
Our guide - Ben - was just amazing. explained us everything he knew about each and every animal. Definitely when I come back to Kenya - I would go again with these guys.
Overall - we felt VERY safe, we had an amazing tour and I wish that next time I'll be there - I'll have them again doing our tour.

A great personalized tour of Masai Mara
We had a great trip, our guide Ken was very knowledgeable. He picked this up in the city at our hotel and served as our guide in the park as well. He is a great tracker and we had a great time. We would definitely recommend this service.

3-day safari for 3 persons from Nairobi to Amboseli Parc
The Safari experienced with East Africa Shuttles and Safaris was great, we could book it quickly (~1week before the date); everything was organized by email, from the program to the meeting point and the payment mode. The consultant was reactive by email and we could organize everything pretty easily.The driver came to pick us up at our hotel which was appreciable,, and the payment made the morning of the departure (euros).
we particularly appreciated our driver Ruben who knew very well how and when to give us explanation, or just stop the car and let us appreciate in silence the walk of the elephants ...
The Kibo Safari camp we chose was very beautiful and comfortable!
Careful maybe, to the Masai village visit proposed during the safari; we accepted it and it was interesting to meet the people living here undoubtedly, but it seemed a bit "orchestrated" and let us a feeling of "give me your money" instead of real cultural exchange. Better be good at negotiation for this or prices will soar ;)
In a global manner, this safari was as we wanted it, simple, honest, and with a very nice place for the evenings ... Thanks to Chris and Ruben!

Well organized safari with a group of friends
It was a very nice experience with Chris Mbogo from East Africa Shuttles and Safaris. The whole trip was well organized We have spent all together 16 days in Kenya. We have had three different drivers with three different cars. Everyone driver was very kind with excelent level of kowledge and skills. I can recommend East Africa Shuttles for everybody. If I come next time to East Africa for 100% I will use services of this company.

Exceptional communication and awesome driver and experience.
The communication from start to finish was exceptional with Chris working hard to make our experience unforgettable. Driver William took care of us and treated us so well. He is the best driver and it shows in how he treats you and he knows the Maasai Mara. I've been with William as driver 2x now and both have been above and beyond experiences. Extremely reliable and professional, excellent service.
I dealt with a very helpful person called Chris, who provided a lot of useful information and guidance and organized the tour. Simon was our tour tour guide. He always was extremely reliable, showed up on time and did his very best to show us as many beautiful animals as possible. We saw lots of amazing animals and we got up really close to them, too. It was such a wonderful experience and we were delighted with the tour. I would highly recommend this company.
