I highly recommend using the Top Cream Tours and safaris . I don’t believe you’ll find a more efficient, organized and well-run company to trek with! My wife and I did the Burguret – Chogoria traverse which is a 6 day trek.This route is known to be an overgrown track more used by elephants than humans, offers no huts and walking the lower slopes of dense stands of giant bamboo and montane forest can be challenging for some. For us it was simply the most beautiful hike we've ever done and the remoteness of the route added to our experience. We were accompanied by 6 porters and guides who were the only people we saw for the first three days. What a pleasure, camping under the stars with no amenities or distractions but the solitude of the mountain and it's own exquisite ecosystem working in quiet harmony. Our very experienced guide Erastus ensured our safe and easy summit, done with the enthusiasm, ease and complete patience - you'd never believe that he does this very same summit approximately three times a month! The rest of our team were equally experienced, from Steven who ensured we followed the right path, often having to machete through dense undergrowth, Leawell and Sampson who delighted us with the most wonderful meals and Jackson and Benson who lent their hand at all of the above. We were in great company and shared many laughs together. A wonderfully free spirited team who we'll long remember! All the other companies, we spoke to, and there were many, were either unwilling to made the changes or were so expensive, we could not afford to go. Working with Erastus made our bucket list trip, affordable and exactly what we wanted and was incredible., our guide for Masaai mara was a source of amazing knowledge, catered to our every need and then some. Our 5 days safari arrangement was at an eagle eye meaning all was beyond our expectation.
The communication was prompt and our queries were answered from their staff. The safari vehicle was well maintained with experienced driver guide who knew his job interms of knowledge flora and fauna which we could not believed our 5 days safari was over and it was like 2 days due to fantastic service....We will definitely book our next vacation with Top Cream Tours and Safaris.

Good Experience, clear communicator
I really want to leave a five stars review for Top Cream Safaris and his crew, but the experience left me with a bittersweet taste in my mouth.
We had three days in Masai Mara, and while the experience was amazing, the driver—despite having a limited English vocabulary—was good. There was a questionable pit stop at a wholesale gift shop that made us wonder about the legitimacy of his intentions, as we later found out that we had significantly overpaid for some items to bring home to our dears. However, Top Cream was helpful in accommodating a last-minute change in our dates due to a miscalculation on my part. In terms of service, I would give them five stars.
The problem arose even before the trip started. I had never gone on a safari before, and I assumed it would be in a Jeep. Initially, the very first estimate sent to us did mention a van, but I hadn’t noticed it. When we received the final quote and signed off on it, the type of vehicle line item was removed. So, it was surprising to see a van outside the hotel instead of a Jeep on the morning of the trip. When I called to inquire, they mentioned that the initial estimate included a van as a line item. Genuine mistake perhaps, but it’s a detail worth noticing since we were fairly surprised.
In short, if I were you, I would make sure to clarify what type of vehicle is included in your estimate if it’s not mentioned explicitly. Request this information to avoid surprises like we experienced.

Excellent connect
Mr Erastmus was very prompt in communication - when we arrived in Kenya - he explained itinerary in detail. The tour was largely good - there was small hiccup which was clarified by him . Overall pleased with the tour as safety , lodges , meals , animal sightings were perfect.

Prompt response and very helpful in trying situations
Communication was top notch. The service provided is very good and price for the total safari was very reasonable. Tour manager Erastus is very friendly and provided a lot of information during the briefing session the day before the tour began to prep us. The guide/driver George is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the park and had very good conversations with my family. The car broke down during the drive to the park and both Erastus and George did their best to make the trip go without a hitch by arranging our journey without any trouble. Overall Top Cream is a very good operator who puts customer service at the forefront. Only thing that they could have provided a better/newer vehicle and the balloon company they used was not up to the expectations.

Well organized and value for money
Top cream lived up to our expectations and the actual services were very much in line with what was committed. They were very prompt in responding to our queries pre-booking and ensured that we were given all required information for us to make an informed choice. Once in Kenya, Mr. Erastus (Manager) met us a day before our safari and briefed us about the safari and set expectations accordingly. Appreciated them doing this as it helped us prepare ourselves better.
The Safari in itself was well planned. John Ngkonge was our guide for the entire trip and he was fantastic! He was well informed, communicated really well, was funny and entertaining! We felt really safe with John right from the moment we left Nairobi. Our accommodations were well taken care of and was the same as promised.
Overall, highly recommend these guys!
