honest transparent trustworthy
Mr Frank of Golden Rwanda Safaris was great to communicate with. He was frank in his assessment of our travel wishes and was upfront and honest and fair with everything; our driver Abou is very jovial and easy to talk with. We had a great time in varied conversations on our drives. It was an amazing experience and all the accommodations were excellent as were the foods and services. We highly recommend Governor's Residence in Kigali as well as Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel. The foods and services and rooms were all excellent. We felt they were good values! We would trust Frank and Golden Rwanda Safaris to help craft a trip of a lifetime. Abou was an awesome driver guide! What a wonderful trip thanks to Frank, Abou and Golden Rwanda! It is a beautiful country with wonderful people! A special encounter with a gorilla family among the Rwanda hills is something to treasure forever!

We booked in advance a 1 day unforgettable safari tour to Akagera National Park.
The booking and further communication went very smoothly via email and WhatsApp with Frank.
On the agreed day our wonderful guide Taufique picked us up at 5am at our hotel to take us to the park in a comfortable jeep. On the way he gave us, without being pushy, a lot of explanation about Rwanda, the culture, the nature, the sights and he encouraged us to ask him all our questions. He even stopped to let us enjoy a beautiful sunrise.
In the park we enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet and a tasty lunch and Taufique made a great effort to show us as many wild animals as possible from start to finish!
The safari tour was not cheap but definitely worth the money!
Taufique and Frank also gave us a lot of information about renting a car for our road trip through Rwanda and also about the state of the roads and safety on the road. In the end we were able to rent the car through Golden Rwanda at a very reasonable price per day.
So, i would love to recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris to everyone!

The tour itself is awesome. The car is comfortable, The rate includes a breakfast buffet and a big lunch plate. The company booked me the day before. They are a better value than some other places.

My Golden Rwanda Safari tour in Rwanda was an extraordinary adventure from start to finish. The communication with Frank was seamless and efficient, ensuring all my questions were promptly answered and my needs were exceeded. The service provided by our guide Mansoor was flawless and staff exceptional, with his deep knowledge and genuine passion enhancing the entire experience. Considering the quality of the accommodations, the expertise of the guides, and the unique encounters with wildlife, the tour offered great value for money. The reliability of the logistics was impeccable, with smooth transitions between different parks and activities. The highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking moments spent tracking mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, complemented by the stunning biodiversity of Akagera and Nyungwe Forests. I researched a number of tour operators before selecting Golden Rwanda and I am very happy with my decision. I worked with Frank to create an itinerary that was well-tailored to my interests and fit within the 7 days/8 nights that I had available. Frank was very responsive to my questions and knowledgable. Golden Rwanda accommodated me as a solo traveller for a very affordable price, a service other operators did not offer. Taufique picked me up at the Kigali airport upon my arrival and dropped me 8 days later- safe and very satisfied with my Rwandan adventures. He greeted me each day with a smile and excitement for that day's activities. He was an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to ensure that I had a well-prepared cappuccino every morning and a positive experience over-all. I really liked the accommodations that Golden Rwanda selected for me. Each was clean, comfortable, and offered good service and food. The activities were remarkable - trekking with gorillas, chimpanzees, and golden monkeys; kayaking on lake Kivu; and cultural activities such as the Kings Palace Museum. Transportation between locations was safe and comfortable. I found Rwanda to be a beautiful country and Rwandans to be warm and gracious. I particularly recommend the gorilla trek and, if possible, go more than once. I did it twice and each was a unique experience. I also recommend the Genocide Memorial in Kigali. It was informative, thought provoking, and extremely moving. I would book with Golden Rwanda again if given the opportunity and recommend them to other travelers.

Wonderful guide and unbelievable experience!
For our honeymoon, we went on an 6 day experience with Golden Rwanda Safaris including a Gorilla Trek, a Golden Monkey trek, a Chimpanzee Trek, a Colobus Monkey trek and numerous other activities and it was FANTASTIC!
Eric was a wonderful guide! Super knowledgeable about the area, very professional and enjoyable to spend time with. He was always organized and right on time with a big smile on his face.
Our accommodations were great, much more luxurious than we were expecting for the price. The food was also delicious, particularly our stop at a local cafe on the way to a destination.
The real highlight, no surprise, was the gorillas. I ruptured my Achilles earlier in the year and Eric took special care to get us in an "Easy" hike, which was greatly appreciated. It is impossible to describe in words what spending an hour with the gorillas feels like, other than "unbelievable". We feel lucky beyond words.
