Really outstanding company with outstanding guides
Frank and his team made our journey in Rwanda memorable.
They helped us organizing our trip that included some charity work and safari.
The entire team showed great professionalism, flexibility and kindness.
We were a big group and they managed impeccably. The team was very kind and patient with the kids.
In the safari part they managed to let us see the Big 5.
I highly recommend them and definitely use them next tome I travel to Rwanda to go see the Gorillas!

Claude is incredible--very personable and knowledgeable!
The tour was very easy to set up through the website and the owner/operator was prompt, courteous, and responsive. My driver was Claude, who was super friendly and knowledgeable, even though I was the only passenger and had a million and one questions. He knew all the roads in the park and where the animals were most likely to be.
100% would use Golden Rwanda Safaris again and 100% would request the same driver!

Excellent
I booked the Rwandan Gorilla trip directly with Golden Rwanda Safaris about 10months before travel. They organized my permits, hotel accommodations, airport pickup and a trip to the Genocide Museum for myself and my son.
Everything was as promised and more. The vehicle was spotless and Jean Claude was an awesome guide with impeccable English and knowledge of the region. We felt in safe hands the entire trip. I couldn’t recommend Jean Claude any more.
The city is spotless, and the museum and gorilla experience was extremely well organized. We only did one day with the gorillas which turned out to be perfectly fine. The hike wasn’t hard at all and we were in an “average” group. You get exactly 1 hour with the gorillas and they were so close they brushed by us.
The Genocide Museum was moving and hard to process. I think how they presented the event was respectful and allowed for quiet reflection.
Definitely worth visiting.
Thank you Jean Claude and Golden Rwandan Safaris for taking me to a bucket list trip and making it unforgettable!

Best day of my trip - AMAZING guide
Frank was so wonderful. I was nervous about going on a tour alone, but I shouldn't have been. He is very professional and kind and knowledgable. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

Wonderful Experience, highly professional & knowledgeable
A wonderful surprise. The service was excellent. Frank who accompanied me on my 2 days tour to Akagera and Kigali was highly professional and paid a lot of attention to details to make my experience unique. In Akagera, he made sure I was having a chance to see all the animals there. He had water bottles in the car everyday. He even brought me coffee on my departure day which was really early morning.
He was also well respected by the people at places we visited, which certainly shows the reputation of the company in the destination.
Spending 2 days with Frank also taught me a lot about the culture of Rwanda, the lifestyle and the friendliness of people despite the history. It was a very emotional 2 days, and I came back home with a lot of great memories.
I have no hesitation to recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris and would not definitely not go with anyone else.

Perfect in every way possible
Being my first visit to Africa I was apprehensive about how to choose a trustworthy tour operator. Frank of Golden Rwanda Safaris could not have been more helpful. From our first communication, it was clear that Frank values customer service above all else. No request was too much and the payment platform made it simple and painless to finalize the transaction.
On the ground in Rwanda, Frank's level of service was impeccable. Frank was always on time and no request was too much. I had wanted to visit the Gorillas for 25 years and Golden Rwanda Safaris made it happen in a way that I will never forget!
If you choose Golden Rwanda Safaris, Frank and the team will make sure you leave Africa with an experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Akagera Park
The guide was very kind and helpful and we drove a long time so that I could see different animals.
The park in Akagera is beautiful and kept in very good condition.

Very professional, caring & humble team led by Frank
Golden Rwanda Safaris was our chosen tour operator (amongst few) to cater for our large group mainly consisting of children aged between 6-15 plus parents during our autumn half-term break. Our trip purpose was twofold: 1-philanthropic (building the water station and planting trees across Rwanda), 2-safari at Akagera national park. Golden safaris team allotted us 6 vehicles with the exceptionally knowledgeable guide/drivers each. Frank has such an exceptional selection of his team of guides/drivers. Frank himself also joined and led the convoy. In one week we became a family all together. Golden Safaris team were with us from the pout of arrival to a point of departure and everything in between covering distances between the locations we were visiting in our busy weekly agenda. Due to the specifics of our complex trip agenda, Frank was hands on shaping it together to the benefit of all parties involved. The team was extremely reliable, kind & our angel guardians, babysitters, storytellers, etc. A note, Rwanda is the safest country to be in (9th ranked by the UN).
Rwanda is a beautiful country, which is worth visiting once in a lifetime. We will definitely go back to visit our working sites, do more good jobs and see gorillas. FYI, to visit gorillas the kids have to be 15 yo & above. Golden safaris is the ONE I will ring up to help us with it :)
