Mugisha was a very kind, professional, informative and respectful tour guide.
We had the experience of a lifetime with Mugisha on the Akagera Safari. We started out with the most incredible breakfast that was completely unexpected. Then on to the safari. Mugisha was amazing at helping us spot all of our favourite animals. Of the Rwanda 'big 5', we saw 3 up close. It was such a hot day the cats (lion and leopard) were somewhere hiding in the shade. But that's OK because we saw so much more. Mugisha was an amazing driver on the very bumpy (but fun!) roads. Lunch was another unexpected surprise at a lovely 'cafe' overlooking a lake. Perfect. The vehicle was so much fun with the pop-up roof and we were able to spot a lot of animals. I would highly recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris. The communication beforehand and afterwards was fantastic. Frank, the owner, was very quick to respond to all of my queries.
We hope to return to Rwanda in the near future and will definitely book a Gorilla Trek with Golden Safaris. Thank you to Mugisha and Frank.

Fast and efficient booking followed by a fantastic first experience in Rwanda.
I (36 year old female from the US) had a great solo trip to Rwanda with Abu as my guide. On the booking side, Frank was professional, knowledgeable, and prompt in assisting me with proposing itineraries and helping me book my gorilla trekking and golden monkey safari. Prices were significantly lower than what I had been quoted elsewhere for the same itinerary using the same hotel. They organized my stay at the 5 Volcanos Boutique Hotel and my stay was very comfortable and the food was great. Abu was a knowledgeable and personable guide and I enjoyed his company for my 5 day trip. During the whole trip, I completely trusted my guide and outfitter and felt completely safe and looked after. My overall experience was fantastic and I would happily book future travels with them again!

Professional company, great service.
We had an amazing safari experience with Golden Rwanda Safaris. It was a long 10-day trip with Kigali, chimpanzees, the gorilla track and Akagera NP. Our guide was Emile - a very knowledgeable guy,he did his best to get the best experince. We had a great time with him. Our tour guide was excellent!
You won’t find a better tour company. Our tour guide (Mugisha) was the best! The service was outstanding. We went on the gorilla trek and Mugisha was with us every step of the way making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and amazing experience. Five Star service and excellent value for the money.

Great service, very professional and accommodating
I had a great experience booking a 3 day trip through Golden Rwanda. Frank was very communicative and accommodating through before and durning my trip. My tour guide Mugishe ensured that I had a smooth journey and that I had everything I needed along the way. I had an amazing time with gorillas, golden monkeys and in volcanoes national park. An Incredible Customized Experience
We had an absolutely incredible time on the safari, boat ride, and gorilla trek. Our guide Vincent was very courteous, kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we were taken care of and were having a great time. Vincent was really good at spotting animals while driving, he explained their behaviors, and even helped us take beautiful photos. We were really well taken care of while getting to explore the incredible country that is Rwanda. This was an experience I'd recommend for anyone.

A reliable, trustworthy, friendly, efficient company
I did the 5 day tour visiting the gorillas, Akagera NP safari and Kilgali. From the initial communication via email to the actual tour everything was just spot on! It really was a trip of a lifetime and I would highly recommend Golden Rwandan Safaris. My driver Claude is such a gentleman, has great knowledge of Rwandan nature and is the best guide! To actually visit the gorillas is such a privilege and the local people are so proud of them!
