Can't contact them and they have our money....are they still open?
Is there someone we can contact to get our money back or did they steal it? Website now has nothing and they said we could reschedule due to COVID.

Stunning safari
Having returned to "real life" yesterday I wanted to put pen to paper as fast as I could.
Together with my husband we have just spent 4 nights, 5 days and 8 game drives at Djuma, Sabi Sands, on a Big Cat Safari with the terrific At Close Quarters group. Villiers, Trevor, Josh and the team took exceptional care to make certain we had the best possible experience during our stay. We've spent many years visiting parks in several African countries and I can sincerely say this was one of those that will catapult to near the top of our list. The extent to which the guides went to ensure we got our big Cat shots was phenomenal. The patience with us (amateur photographers) was endless and what we learned from our pro fellow guests too just added to this experience. Thank you Villiers for your brilliantly informative Lightroom workshops.
Djuma Lodge with its setting, comfort and ambience gave us a glorious base to relax, enjoy Johan's cuisine and reminisce. Thank you all, we will most certainly be joining you again

The Perfect Safari with At Close Quarters!
It has always been a dream of mine to visit the Sabi Sands.
I chose to go with the At Close Quarters team as they have a most respectable reputation of being exceptional hosts and getting the best sightings for their guests.
As I am a keen wildlife photographer I knew that joining them on one of their trips would be worth it.
And boy did they deliver!
We were royally treated to breathtaking sights to photograph. 20 Minutes into our first drive we saw a most beautiful leopard female! A perfect start! Before we knew it, we had seen the Big 5 within an hour and I couldn't be more thrilled!
Exquisite cuisines, luxurious and spacious accommodation at the stunning Djuma Lodge, and incredible hosting from the team all formed part of a most memorable 4 nights.
I can highly recommend this trip to every single wildlife photographer, and 7 of my friends have already booked with myself for the next trip in August 2016!!
I can't wait to be back at Djuma and I am counting down the days to do it all over again!

Bucket list break in the bush!
I am not a bush person.. but the 4 days we spent with @closequaters refreshed & recalibrate'd me like no other! I can't believe how much i enjoyed this short trip .. worth every penny! The 5star accommodation .. food and beautiful setting was good for my soul, and i am NOT a religious person! The game drives were incredibly informative, exciting and relaxing all at the same time!.. I'll be back!

Up close and personal with awesome bush creatures and hosts that were brilliant in every way
Well beyond expectations. Superb organization by passionate client centric hosts
The quality of game viewing was on par and better in some cases compares to very high end lodges
Atmosphere was fun, relaxed, welcoming, inclusive and comfortable at all times
Lodge is well kept with a beautiful position
Only thing I would have enjoyed more is for all meals to have been served outside on the stunning deck overlooking the water hole

Best Leopard sighting experience ever
Unique experience at an amazing location (Djuma in Sabi Sands) away from the madding crowd. The big cat sightings were awesome with every photographer given the opportunity to get “that shot”. True African experience with excellent accommodation and food. Mike and Josh you rock. See you again soon.

Easily The Best Bush Experience Of My Life :)
If you are considering a trip to South Africa or a trip to the bush I'm telling you you have to do this trip. I have been going to Kruger and surrounding reserves with my family since I was 7 years old and this is my favourite lodge by far. Firstly, Joshua and Michael are both absolutely brilliant! They both are great teachers if you want to ask anything about the animals, the area, photography or editing. The communication from their company from the time I enquired about the safari through to post-trip communication was really good. The food was absolutely delicious!!!!! I was most surprised at how gorgeous the rooms are (you should check the photos on the website). My bed was really comfortable. There was plenty of time between game drives to rest properly. One afternoon I was studying on the porch and I looked up and there was a leopard drinking at the water hole about 30m in front of me. The whole lodge is very peaceful. I'm convinced that the staff at Djuma are the best in Sabi Sands (Thanks Taxon!!). This was easily the best bush experience I've had. I went twice in 2015 and I am going again this year. Can't wait.

An intimate wildlife photography experience
At Close Quarters exceeded expectations, from the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at home. Accommodation was luxurious and we felt really immersed in the bush hearing lion/hyena and elephant every night from the safety of our beds. The outside shower was an added bonus. Meals were excellent and the hosts made sure we were well looked after.
Game viewing and photographic opportunities were superb and we saw the big five countless times. From 4 leopard sightings, to cheetah and a really special sighting of interaction between 7 fully grown male lions, Sabi Sands did not disappoint. After drive in the morning we had short photography lectures and training sessions using Adobe Lightroom which really helped increase our knowledge. A truly special experience.
A must on any wildlife photographers calendar.
