Professional and communicative agency which offered us an unforgettable time in Kenya
Oakland Tours and Safaris is a reliable and professional agency. It provided us with the best hotels and safaris we could get at this time of the year. Our driver was careful and professional. He gave us good advice, drove safely, took us to unforgettable places of the different parks, enabled us to spare some time or money for some activities... We only spent a week in Kenya but managed to see a lot thanks to the well-organized trip prepared by the agency.

Great experience, great people
We just arrived from the three days tour. Tired, confused but enthusiastic. Simon Ngowa was the complete man for us, a great guy. Super driver, biologyst, kind interface, a multiple cultural guide, who take care of us in every moment. The Oakland Tours and Safari provide us a reliable car, and we can override the rough roads.

Amazing
What an amazing trip! From the very first minute we landed in Nairobi until the last minute we left Kenya the trip was just fabulous our guide Ken was fantastic, the jeep for the safaris, the hotels and of course, Kenya. I will definitely come back to Kenya for sure I will hide their services again. Thank you!

Excellent Kenyan Safari - Highly Recommend!
My mom, myself, and my 18 year old daughter travelled to Kenya for a safari and we are so glad we booked with Oakland Safaris! From the first communication with Felistus in Nairobi, we were kept fully informed and felt very comfortable that we were in good hands. She designed a perfect safari for our mid-range budget with excellent lodges and all the logistics were taken care of so we just got to enjoy the beautiful country and wildlife. Norah and Felistus were so communicative about payment and itinerary and once we arrived we were met at the airport and given into the care of our guide Willy. He was fantastic!! He took us safely through three parks and dealt with all the entry fees, lodge staff, etc with us but most importantly he was so friendly and knowledgeable about Kenya and the wildlife we saw and he was GREAT at finding it - including a cheetah, oryxes, and lions! We loved our time and highly recommend this tour operator to anyone who wants a safe, affordable and extremely fun safari in beautiful Kenya.

amazing lifetime experience
The journey was started from Nairobi airport when we received the warm welcome from tour leader and driver ( Mr Edward )
Our stay was 2 nights
Both accommodations were perfect
One night stay in giraffes mayor was another amazing life time experience
Everything was managed professionally in advance by them
I did not have time to check and organize the trip by myself and I am really happy to did it through this travel agency
Eddi , our driver and tour leader was on time , gentleman and he loved his job so much that’s why he made this trip unforgettable for us

Professional, fun and exciting experience for the first time
From the first minute, our tour guide was super friendly and professional. He took us from our hotel in Diani, while driving to the park Tsavo East, he explained a lot things about culture, life style of locals, abut local plants. He was also fun to talk about difference of countries.
He took care of us the whole safari time, suggesting how and what is better to do around. During our time in the park, he was also very talkative and we talked a lot about animals, we learned a lot about wild life. As we saw some tour guides while little stops during the safari, our tour guid Daniel seemed more fun and relaxed than other, which gave us an opportunity to feel safe and have lots of fun. Even though we had some problems in the beginning, which was not about Oakland tour, but the agency was helpful and understanding. They are super reliable and we already planing our next trip with this agency. Definitely would recommend Oakland tour for anyone who want best time during safari.

Very professional outfit
I chose Oakland from the other operators due to their professional approach towards the process of booking a safari, without too much hard sell. Communication was excellent before and during the trip, in terms of choosing the lodges/hotels and the pricing, and the driver who picked us up and was with us for whole 3 night/4 day experience was friendly and very knowledgable on all matters cultural and wildlife. I would highly recommend using Oakland

Very reliable and trustworthy tour operator!
Booked with Oakland on my first day in Kenia. A bit awkward: can I trust these people my large amount of money for a 9 days safari?? They have proved: yes, you can 100% trust them! Everything was like we agreed, had a great driver, who was also perfectly on time when picking me up the first day. Knew where to find the game. Fellistas of Oakland also regularly checked with me if everthing went fine. I couldn't have had a better safari. A 10 out of 10 for Oakland and driver Willy!
