Outstanding tour operator with excellent communication and excellent choice of accommodations
The communication with the tour operator before my trip was excellent. Sander answered my questions at once and finalized my tailor-made tour itinerary with a map and day by day itinerary.
Emma is a fantastic driver, very friendly and made our tough 4 days safari possible.
The accomodations were all beautiful. Lake Chahafi Resort was outstanding - friendly staff, big rooms and beautiful located close to a lake and a volcano. If we had more time we would have stayed there longer.
Hiking Mount Sabinyo was tough but a good decision. The landscape was amazing.
Also the Gorilla tracking in Nkoringo sector was tough but totally rewarding.
Emma drove us to a nice lunch stop overlooking lake Buyani. Furthermore our game drive at Queen Elisabeth Nationalpark was successful, we even saw tree climbing lions. The kazinga chanel cruise with a smaller village people boat was also very rewarding. We could get closer to the coastline than the bigger tourist boats.
I knew that 4days with all those activities would be strenious but it was definetely worth it!!!

A relaxed and well organized holiday.
The holiday started from the moment Paul our driver, came to pick us up. Everything was perfectly organized. All accommodations were beautiful with a real African feeling. We were welcomed everywhere very hartwarming. In advance you will think of what you will see: elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, chimpanzees and gorillas. And we have seen all those animals and must must more. Paul showed us the most beautiful places and was very patient with every "foto momentje". But Uganda offers even more: women in colorful clothes, children waving along the side of the road. And it is amazing what you can transport on a motorcycle. Up to five people fit on a motorcycle. And how do you get a purple coffin at home? Of course on your bike. We were only there for 12 days, but we would like to come back to Uganda.

Unforgettable Experience, thanks to Grassrootz
Grassrootz is a great organisation. After we emailed our wishes, Sander put together a wonderful trip. We really enjoyed ourselves in Uganda and didn't have to worry about anything. Our guide David was very friendly and trustworthy, and we had a lot of fun. We learned a lot from him and had the time of our lives. It was an amazing experience we're not likely to forget anytime soon.
Super nice!
The whole trip was wonderful. Everything was well organised. We had a very well organised driver and guide. He was always on time and he communicated well with us. The accomodation was beyond our expectations. The safari tents were beautiful. The view and scenery along the way were spectacular. We saw lots of animals including 4 of the big Five-excluding Leopards! The cultural visit by the Karamajong people was special and gave us some insight about their beautiful culture. We had the time of our lives.

Unforgettable experience tracking the gorillas in Bwindi
The communication was excellent. We had limited time in Uganda, Grassrootz was able to put together a mini-safari in which we were able to track the gorillas in Bwindi. Very happy with the programme as advised and organised by Grassrootz.

Wonderful!
Grassrootz is a great organisation. The safari was put together completely to our wishes and lived up to the expectations. The tour guide was extremely friendly and really tried his best, especially during setbacks (like cartrouble). The safari was amazing and I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing safari!
We went on a 13-day safari in November. The communication with Grassrootz was very good. Sander gave us the iternity which was very clear. I also skyped with Sander before i went on safari for the questions i had. Paul, our guide, was a very good spotter and we saw the whole big five. We enjoyed the trip so much! Paul also helped us with everything we need (for example: local transport for someone who only went with us on safari for 5 days) Thank you so much Sander & Paul!
