Amazing & personalized experience with Anne & Steve.
Amazing Memories truly made our vacation memorable. We just completed a 10 day Safari in Kenya and can’t thank Amazing for making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. We were referred by a close friend who gave them raving reviews and we can’t agree more! From the 1st contact with Anne when we reached out for a quote, to planning, to bookings and finally the actual trip - everything was 5 star! Anne gave us many options and unlike some other companies who can do the basic camps, Anne was able to get us bookings at top notch and niche camps. She guided us through many options available in Kenya and after visiting each camp, we know that the choices were perfect for us. The biggest bonus was getting assigned the Safari guide/driver that we had requested - Steve Derito. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Steve would be our driver! Just as mentioned by our referring friend, Steve was indeed very knowledgable, experienced, accommodating and above all super friendly! Our kids loved him as Steve always found the best view for any activity during game drives. Even if we arrived later than many other cars, somehow he managed to pull into the best location! Thanks to Steve’s expertise, we were able to catch the Wildebeest migration 2 days in a row!
Additionally, something super special that Amazing did for us was to help us plan in a special day to visit a remote village in Samburu (almost 3 hours drive from Buffalo Springs Reserve) where our family was able to meet a NGO team that we work with. Steve took the initiative to contact the ground staff for the NGO prior to our visit and made sure the day was planned with them without any glitches. He took us to Wamba village where we were met by The Samburu Project team and then Steve followed them for 3 hours through remote dirt roads with a smile - no complaints, no questions! This visit to the Nalepo well in Samburu was very special to our daughter and it wouldn’t have been possible without the special care from Ann and Steve at Amazing Memories. These guys will treat your family and friends like their family and not just another set of clients. We can’t recommend them enough for your African Safari experience. Thank you for helping make our trip unforgettable Amazing team!!

Absolutely Outstanding - Six Stars if that was possible!
This trip was simply incredible. The National Parks, Conservancies and wildlife are just breathtaking and the vast expanse of the Serengeti and its teeming wildlife is just wonderous!
Our entire holiday was booked and managed through Amazing Memories Safaries, who took such amazingly good care of us, we cannot thank them enough. In each place we stayed the accommodation they had found was first-class. They took extra care to make sure we were received and handedover at each stage of our travels by their team, who were all extremely welcoming, warm, attentive and knowledgeable. From Nairobi, to Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Amboseli, every part was spectacular. Our first stop was in Masai Mara, and our tour guide, James, took excellent care of us and his knowledge of the wildlife and the the animal behaviour was incredible.
For the Tanzania leg of our trip, Amazing Memories had partnered with a sister company and our tour guide for the week was Raymond, who deserves a special mention. Raymond really made that part of our trip. He was friendly, kind, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about absolutely everything. Always going the extra mile to consider what we would enjoy the most and creating flexibility within our plans to allow us to flow with the environment around us.
The final leg of our trip was a night in Amboseli and then a day in Nairobi, which again was a revelation. For our day in Nairobi we were keen to get a feel for the lived experience of the city, rather thant the usual tourist haunts, and Joseph, our tour guide for the day, took us to see all the different parts of the city, from downtown to the suburbs, it was a fantastic way to cap off our trip.
All in all, an absolutely outstanding experience. If it was possible to give a sixth star, I would! Thank you ever so much to Anne and her team - James, Bryan, Sammy and Joseph, you really made it the most amazingly memorable trip for us - certainly living up to your name!

A trip of a lifetime with a great company!
We booked Amazing Memories Safaris after reading all the wonderful reviews, and they lived up to the hype.
We travelled with 10 family members and they took care of everything, including making sure some of our rooms had queen beds and others two single beds.
We dealt with Anne, who was fantastic. She quickly answered all questions and assisted with all details. The communication was great!
We went on a 12-day, 5-park adventure, and absolutely loved it! We saw the Big 5 ( elephant, leopard, Cape buffalo, rhino and lion) as well as so many other amazing animals. From cheetahs and dik-diks (look them up! - they are super adorable!) to giraffes and mongoose, the variety and sheer number of animals we saw absolutely thrilled us.
Our drivers/guides were knowledgeable and safely transported us from park to park. We went to Amboseli National Park, Ol Pejeta, Samburu National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Masai Mara National Reserve.
Although some of the parks were far apart, the drive through rural areas, towns, and cities showed us what life was like in Kenya and when we stopped for lunch it was often at an artisan market where we could purchase crafts and artwork.
Our accommodations were great as well. We stayed one night at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near the airport, prior to heading off to our first park. We also stayed at the Oltukai Lodge, Sweetwaters Serena Camp, Ashnil Samburu Camp, Sarova Lionhill Game Lodge and Mara Serena Lodge. All offered buffets with lots of good food, comfortable beds and great views. Watching elephants and other animals walk by outside the fences was always a thrilling start to the day.
I would highly recommend Amazing Memories Safaris to anyone thinking of a trip to Kenya.
The best thing I can say is we would book them again if we ever get the chance to travel there again.

5 Star safari experience
What a great experience, we saw just everything you expect from a successful safari. This was also due to our very experienced guides, they just knew where to go to provide you the best. Especially Joseph was great, he always knew where to be when, we saw sooo many animals and had fantastic moments. Our agency was really customer oriented, whatever we wished, Anne checked immediately and made everything possible. We can highly recommend them! Just tell them what you want. Also we highly recommend the private car and driver option, we had a lot of space and it was very important when you wanted to take pictures or have a good view, that the car is not crowded. Also we enjoyed a lot the selected lodges. Overall a great trip, anytime agin with amazing memories safaris!

A trip of our life time
What a fantastic 2 weeks trip we had. Right from the first inquiry till the last day of us leaving Nairobi, we had a great trip and they were always in touch with us making sure we were enjoying our trip. Anne was handling our requests throughout the planning process and was very helpful in altering the itinerary as per our need. She was very helpful in sharing all the details needed to make our trip more pleasant beginning with the visa process,Vaccination requirements and other pertinent information about the trips to Kenya and Tanzania. They were even able to get a refund from one of our hotel's reservations after arriving at Nairobi due to our change of plan at the last minute.
On the first day of our tour, we were greeted by Bryan and our Kenya driver John. Bryan gave us the briefing before we were on our merry way with John. We visited Amboseli Park first and John knew his places and also was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and their territory and showed us all the animals we could possibly see there. Our stay at Kibo Lodge was great with excellent services and food. Then we went to Lake Naivasha and did a boat ride and also walked along with Zebra, wild beast and giraffes. We saw a couple of Hippo families and also an eagle catching a fish from the lake. Once again, Our stay at Lake Naivasha country club was great. Then we headed to Masai Mara where we saw a lot of zebras, giraffes, wild beasts and lions. We were extremely lucky to be at the right place at the right time to witness a cheetah hunting gazelle live. We also saw a black rhino, hyena, leopard and a male lion eating zebra. With that our trip to Kenya was over and headed to Tanzania via the Isibinia border and John was kind enough to take our souvenirs back with him to collect them later once we got back to Nairobi at the end of the trip.
We were then in the safe hands of our Tanzania driver Mr Moses who is equally knowledgeable and kept us engaged the whole trip. After the immigration formalities, we started driving to Serengeti National park where we saw a lot more lions than we could ask. We saw many prides but the highlight was to see a pride with a lot of cubs and also a male lion in the tree top keeping his eyes on the sneaky hyena. We had a very pleasant stay at Tanzania bush camp where we heard the hyenas laugh and a male lion roar in the middle of the night. After a fantastic game drive, we went to the Ngorongoro crater and were astonished to see a wild variety of eco systems within the crater itself. After an excellent tour in the crater we stayed at the Kudu Lodge where again the services, room and food were fantastic. We were then dropped off at Arusha airport for our trip to Zanzibar.
Once in Zanzibar we were in safe hands of Victor and our driver Yosuf. They both were making sure that our stay in Zanzibar was top notch. They were able to arrange a spice tour and prison island with lunch. We enjoyed both especially feeding the turtles in Prison Island .
Our stay at Sea Clif resort is phenomenal, we enjoyed our walk along the ocean and also the view of beautiful sunsets. After spending two relaxing days in Zanzibar we flew back to Nairobi and again were greeted by one of their guides. Anne called us again and made sure everything was good and met our expectations.
All in all, we had a trip of our lifetime and would like to thank everyone who made that possible.

Memorable Safari trip
The visit to Masai Mara was the highlight of the trip. We also visited Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Amboseli National Park. The accommodations in tented camps were very comfortable with great food and service. Our guide was very helpful and made sure we saw all the animals. We didn't spend a lot of time in Nairobi but the giraffe center is worth a quick visit specially for young children.

Highly recommended!
My family (me, my husband, and our 5-year-old) booked a 13-day safari trip. The communication with Anne was very smooth. We had Eluid as our guide in Kenya and Mike from Migada Adventures as our guide in Tanzania. Both of them were extremely professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful.
We visited Masai Mara and Amboseli in Kenya, and Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire in Tanzania, and were able to see over thirty species of mammals and over one hundred species of birds. Also, we took pictures and videos of wildebeests migrating, lions mating, elephants with babies, etc,...
Anne helped us arrange a night safari in Lake Manyara, which was also awesome. We were able to see some bushbabies and genets there.
This trip is truly AMAZING MEMORY for my family!

It was more than we expected, and an overall excellent experience, that i will recommend to everyone
It proved to be a great experience. We had excellent sightings through out the trip. The tour guide, Peter, was not only an extremely friendly person but was a very seasoned and knowledgeable guide. And was able to take us to the right spots for these sightings. Our camps were best in class with the available amenities made our stay extremely luxurious.

Great communication and a well organised safari operator
Amazing Memories Safaris were very organised and always communicated promptly. The initial planning of the safari revealed good knowledge of the safari options and answered all of my questions. Everything from transport, hotel and food organisation and the actual safari tours were great. We managed to see so many animals during our visit to Amboseli park, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara national parks. All three parks had their own beauty and were worth visiting. The kids said it was their best holiday ever! I would certainly recommend booking with Amazing Memories Safaris
