Excellent, fantastic, Perfect!!!!!!!!
5/5

The perfect safari! I have been on 3 safaris before and this one number 4 was the best. It was the longest 25 days and even that was too short. We had the best guide/driver ever possible named Hans. Definitely anyone going on safari with Ajabu Adventures definitely ask for Hans, no demand Hans he is excellent. Every animal, or bird we wanted to see we say. He is patient, kind, knowledgeable and experienced. I never had such a fantastic guide as Hans, you will not be disappointed. I guarantee him. Ajabu Adventures went beyond my expectations. They gave us 5 star accommodations in the middle of the parks! Food, lodging, guide, adventure all were 10 stars! Be adventurous and take the 25 day safari you will never regret it. A once in a lifetime that you will remember forever. I love Africa, it's people, sight and sound. Each park was unique and different and had different animals. I would definitely take Ajabu Adventures on another safari and of course Hans as the guide!!!

Great Botique Travel company to organise unforgettable experience in Tanzania and Kenya
5/5

Selecting an travel agent to go on safari in Africa is difficult - there are so many choices. We were fortunate we selected the small boutique Ajabu Adventures instead of selecting on of the very large companies which are available for African Safaris . From the first day I contacted Ajabu Adventures about our proposed safari, they were responsive with suggestions and alternative which were available - they knew what people wanted to see in the time they had available and budget they had to enjoy . We ended up combining Kenya with Tanzania with a few days in Zanzibar at the end. Ajabu were able to customise the safari holiday to our requirements in coordination with their associate Talk About Kenya in Nairobi. From the moment we arrived in Nairobi, we felt comfortable that our holiday was going to be a success. The accommodation selected was a great mix of tented camps and very nice hotels through both the countries. The itinerary proposed was relaxing as requested but allowed us to see some of the great parks and enjoy wonderful experiences throughout both countries. The guides Cyrus in Kenya and Paul in Tanzania were fantastic - they new where to look and could spot animals when you thought there was nothing there -We highly recommend both of these guides- they were fantastic, very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you to Gert and his team, we had a great holiday.

Trip of a Lifetime!!
5/5

Jumbo, Jumbo...This was our first Safari and cannot not imagine another "future" trip we may plan to another location that could exceed our expectations as much as this one. Starting from scratch, I discovered there are many, many tour operators from which to choose. I narrowed my choices based on reviews, intuition and response to my requests. In the end, what looked like a daunting task to select an operator, Ajabu Adventures made the decision easy. Their quick response to my questions (many), flexibility with our itinerary, suggestions, customer service, personal attention to our needs and wants and price were the highlights in making the decision to book our safari with Ajabu Adventures. Most importantly, when it came time to deliver, Ajabu exceeded our expectations in every way......lodging (5 star), tour guide (PAUL!!!), attractions, surprises, rare finds (attributed to Paul), culture and life and on and on. In fact, along the journey, we met some wonderful people and shared in many of the African customs. Our 9 day itinerary was just enough to want us to consider a return for the 25 day adventure in the future. Highly recommend two nights in the bush (tent camp) and part of a day with a Maasai Tribe community. Anja and her team, and Paul as our tour guide, truly provided my wife and I the trip of a life time. We have and will continue to share our experience and memories through our stories and photographs with friends and family. Asante sana Ajabu Adventures!

We like Ajabu very well! Very personel and fexible! Better than we would have expected.....
5/5

It wasn't our first time to visit Tanzania. But traveling with Ajabu was a new and great experience! The communication in front of the Safari went very well and during the Safari we switched to other camp sites because of the moving migration (to be close as possible). This was only possible because of the fexibility of this company and the owners. Amazing to experience how they are working to give you the best trip they can! The drive was very friendly and gentle. And he was a good and save driver as well! Knowing every single detail of nature.
We will never forget this trip......
Thanks a lot Ajabu!

Fourth visit to Tanzania with Ajabu Adventures
5/5

September 6, 2015 we started our 4th visit to Tanzania organised by Ajabu. First we climbed Kilimanjaro. We chose the 8-days Lemosho route. It was tough but we succeeded thanks to the perfect organisation and support of a wonderful team. Guides and porters did a great job, we are very grateful to them. We were like one big family. We were in good hands from day1. It was an unforgettable experience. After my fellow-climber Kenneth and I finished the climb, my husband joined us for a safari in Tarangire and Serengeti National Park. The safari was great. Sleeping in tented camps in Serengeti surrounded by wild animals is great. Thanks to a last minute change proposed by Ajabu, we went to northern Serengeti for 3 nights and were able to see the crossing of the Mara River by wildebeest and zebra on different occasions. Juma, our driver/guide for the 4th time, was amazing again. Back home, we miss Tanzania already. Your country has a special place in our heart. And we will, certainly come back. We thank Ajabu and especially Gert-Jan, Anja and last but not least Juma for making our dreams come true.

Safari and Tribal Adventure
5/5

What an exciting trip! My only company was Paul, my driver who was fantastic. He looked after me as if I were his grandma. His eyes were sharp. I don't think he missed one little movement that was worth some attention. He would spot a leopard in the fork of a tree from far away. He was able to anticipate situations. Once we saw a herd of elephants standing tucked together in the shade of a tree. There were many tourists in many cars watching. The elephants started moving slowly on, one after the other. The cars drove off. Paul said, "They are heading for water!" We slowly moved in the same direction as the elefants and discovered a water hole. We stopped close by. What an amazing sight! One by one , little ones, big ones, everyone walked steadily into the cool water. They rolled, showered, sprayed, drank and trumpeted in sheer joy!
I saw just about every animal possible, even a black rhino. To me it looked like a big thick sausage towards the horizon. I just had to believe Paul. He was right! At home on the zoomed-in photo I can see the horns!!!
On this trip I came in close contact with 3 tribes which was a once in my lifetime experience.
The accommodation was excellent (even though I downgraded somewhat) and everywhere we stopped the staff was friendly and helpful. Not to forget the two fantastic local guides, Mossa and Tobias, who both spoke beautiful English and their knowledge was bottomless.
There was a lot of driving ca 2400km. In Serengeti the roads were rough and dusty.
I am very happy I chose Ajabu Adventure for my first Africa experience!

Excellent service, professional drivers/guides, very dedicated to you as their customer!
5/5

Last week I had an amazing safari in Tanzania together with my boyfriend. Everything was perfectly organised by Ajabu Adventures.

Ajabu has very professional guides/drivers, who are very dedicated to you as their clients. This was my second time with Jumah as guide/driver. He speeks English very well, he can tell you everything about Tanzania, the nature, the different tribes and of course the wild animals!! His wish is to make each day perfect for you.

We spotted the big 5 in 1 day! Amazing!

I can advise you to book a safari at Ajabu, specially organised for you. They know the most beautiful places to stay.... A tented camp (you sleep in a tent and can enjoy the sundowner and the sounds of the animals) or more luxury lodges. And everything in between!

Thank you Ajabu for an unforgettable and amazing safari.

Asante sana!!!

Fantastic safari trip
5/5

We have done a fantastic 9 day safari to Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro crater, the Serengeti and the beautiful
Tarangire Nat. Park.
A nice change to the safari were the visits to the Hadzabe bushmen, the Datoga people and the Maasai
boma. What a friendly people.
Also compliments to our driver Juma, who take care for everything during the trip.
And do not forget Anja and Gertjan, for arranging and composing this nice trip.
On a return visit to Tanzania, we know how to find you again.

5/5

In January this year we have done a great safari with Ajabu Adventures. The dedication of Gert- Jan and Anja to make our trip special was absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much. The reception very warm and personal. The quality of the transport, food, guides and accommodation places was more than good. And different. The perfect fit at a fair price and we will definitely go with Ajabu again next time. We can recommend Ajabu wholeheartedly.

Ajabu offered an unforgettable trip, professionally, friendly with an excellent guide!
5/5

After an excellent and quick emailcorrespondence, we had a wonderfull safari with Ajabu. Paul turned out to be the guide anyone would hope for, with professinal skills and an open and friendly mind.
We saw in the parks in N-Tanzania more birds and animals than we hoped for. From dusk till dawn 'en route' we had encounters with elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebra, giraf and even beisa antilopes and wild dogs. Numerous eagles, herons, egrets and other birds, and all of them on foto, because of the way Paul was handling the car.
We met wonderful people, especially Jamat and his three years old son Lagilalla in the Maasai boma. During the walk with them I felt really at home on the Maasai Steppe. In Africa, you go back to your deepest roots, encoutering the peoples of the Datoga and Hadzabe tribes. After that you have to 're-invent' yourself.
It was ment to be a once in a lifetime experience, and it was! But, I don't want it to be a once in a lifetime experience, I want to go back.
When, than via Ajabu Travel!
