Excellent first safari experience
5/5

We had very good contact with Anne for safari planning. She was very reactive and could provide us all information needed to make our decisions and design the whole trip. She welcomed us in Dar Es Salaam and made us feel confortable for our first travel in Africa. Our trip combined safaris in Selous, Ruaha and beach hang out in Zanzibar. We liked very much all the places where we stayed and recommend warmly Afric'Aventure.

To mention some of our highlights: amazing to sleep so close to the animals (seen elephant, hyenas, girafes closed to the water when waking up; heard the lions during the night), bush breakfest, lions sightseeing, boat safari, visit of authentic masaï village... Very good memories!

One of our top ten holidays ever
5/5

Our wonderful holiday with Afric'Aventure began when we were met at Dar es Salaam airport by the Managing Director herself. We were offered cool towels and water to refresh ourselves, and a delightfully decorated box containing all the documents we would need for our trip and some handcrafted soaps from Zanzibar. The drive to our hotel in peak hour took ages, but this provided an opportunity for Anne to tell us many things about Tanzania, Dar es Salaam and our coming trip.

We were not disappointed with the rest of the voyage. The lodges at Ruaha (Mwagusi Safari Camp) and Selous (Selous Impala Camp) more than lived up to our expectations. The bangas/tents, dining and reception areas were impeccable, the staff could not be more friendly and helpful, and the guides and drivers extremely competent. The two hotels we stayed in, (Alexander's in Dar es Salaam, and Mashariki Palace Hotel in Zanzibar) were excellent.

We did not experience a single organisational hitch, as far as domestic flights and transfers are concerned.

All in all, easily one of our top ten holidays ever!

Everything was perfect
5/5

At first I really appreciated being able to express myself in French. To each of my questions, I received clear and precise answers. The hotel proposals were very interesting and out of the ordinary, Manze Camp in Selous, Sunshine Zanzibar Hotel Matemwee, Coffee House Hotel Stone Town. On the spot the drivers were always in advance to the appointments. Our trip was superbly organized and where there was danger for our trip (the plane left early without warning), Anne made every effort to wait for us at the airport. Without his efficiency and that of his driver (traffic jam on the road) we could not take our plane to Selous. Again thank you Anne, everything was perfect.

Superb African Experience with Afric'Aventure, great personal service, 'sur mesure'
5/5

We booked a 2 days & 2 nights safari in Selous, Lake Manze camp, and then 3 nights at the Zanzibar (Matemwe) Sunshine hotel. From start to finish the service by Afric'Aventure was great. We booked quite late, and still Afric'Aventure managed to arrange and adapt the trips to our wishes. We recommend Afric'Aventure for their personal and friendly approach, quick response and excellent quality in the companies they work with.
The Lake Manze camp in Selous is a top location with elephants, giraffes, impala's, bushbaby's, hippo's everywhere around. Their service and food are also great! The approach is very professional and communication is very clear. We will remember the group dinner outside with the camp fires, the luxurious tents, the very professional safari guides and drivers, who really try (and succeed) to deliver the best experience possible: lunch at the lake (15 meters away from the hippo's), an extra tour to a group of lions who jus caught a wildebeest / gnoe, a swim in a hot water source. We also recommend the boat safari, which gives you an experience from another perspective then by safari car!
From the landing in Zanzibar up to the flight back, all went perfect: the welcome at the airport by our guide for Stonetown Godefrey (or 'G') and at the hotel (by the lovely Anastacia) were perfect. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite in this small scale hotel and spent 3 perfect days there: their food and service is excellent, they offer a lot of activities and the beach is beautiful.
We'll start saving for the next trip!

As soon as we arrived in Tanzania, Anne was already there to welcome us. The program was great, the choice of hotel / camp was perfect.
The safari was one of the most beautiful moments of our life.

From West to East - Tanganyika to Zanzibar: A beautiful experience
5/5

Flawless planning. Anne understood perfectly our approach to our reasonably low budget trip in Tanzania, without compromising on the quality of the services and visits.
From the Hilltop hotel in Kigoma and the visit to Gombe NP along lake Tanganyika, to the Emerson Spice hotel in Stonetown and the beach of Matemwe, the transition was sweamsless.
Thank you to our friendly knowledgeable guides Sextus (Gombe) and Jeffrey (Indoma-zanzibar),who contributed greatly to the succès of this trip.
Highly recommended.

Well organised
5/5

From our arrival in Dar es Salaam until our departure everything was well organised: transfers, flights, hotels, visits, guided tours etc... We visited Dar es Salaam, Bagamoyo, Selous national park and Zanzibar. Communication with Afric’aventure was very cordial and easy and they met all our expectations.

Kompetent, well-organized, responsive, reliable, sensitive to clients expectations.
5/5

Anne organized a trip to Gombe for my wife Leonie and her friend Julia in February 2021. They returned absolutely enchanted by the experience. In June my parents came from Germany to visit us. I reached out to Anne and she again put together a memorable trip to Gombe for us. Like Leonie and Julia, we were lucky to have Sixtus as our guide. He is amazing. Thank you Anne for this superb experience. I can highly recommend it.

Responsive, professional and friendly
5/5

Seamless and very responsive communication.
Excellent advice in helping us choose Selous Impala Camp, where we stayed for 3 days.
Great service all along : the fact that the people organising the tour live there and have extensive, multi-year experience of the various camps and travel options was important to us - and they exceeded our expectations in many ways (for example, the personal greeting with cold towels at Dar es Salaam airport at 1:30 am was much appreciated after 16 hours of travel : thank you for that, Anne!).
Bearing in mind that safaris are expensive, the value for money was very good. The package also included a medical insurance covering emergency transport to proper medical facilities.
The camp itself was perfect: great location allowing for both land and river trips, super-friendly staff, excellent food (the beef was to die for!) very comfortable tents and we had an amazing guide (thank you for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm, Ezra!). Some of the animals, including elephants and giraffes, walked right by our tents, but it always felt perfectly safe. To our surprise, there were no mosquitoes or other annoying insects during our stay.
All in all, a perfect experience. Very highly recommended.

Asanterra assures friendly, efficient and expert attention to your personalised safari experience.
5/5

We have been clients of Asanterra since 2016. Since the beginning of our Tanzanian safari experience, we have been most impressed by and highly satisfied with the impeccable planning and services provided. The camps we have stayed at in Ruaha (Mdonya Old River, Mwagusi Safari camp) and Selous (Selous Impala, Lake Manze), each with its own character and charm, have all been excellent in terms of location, accommodation, food, and the game drive experience. Anne Saels and her staff are highly reactive in the event of plan changes (e.g. flight cancellations or changes) and are always readily available to answer any questions you may have. Anne's experience and knowledge really show!
