I book this tour on Sunday, for the Monday, through another tour operator. Praise (the CEO) allowed me to join an existing tour which was a 5 day tour, for one day. I really appreciated this allowance that was made for me! They picked me up, and dropped me back to my place in Moshi.

The drive form Moshi to Tarangire Park is very long, far too long, this is really the worst part. Fortunately, John, who is half Chagga and half Maasai, is a great conversationalist, with excellent music taste, so that made the long drive easier to bear. It was a clear day, so we got a great view of Mt Kilimanjaro on the way.

I was picked up at 6:50am, and we arrived at Tarangire Park at 11:22am. We entered the park at 11:52am (after registration, restroom breaks, etc).

We entered Tarangire Park, known as the Paradise of elephants. John had a good eye so he quickly spotted many animals and pointed them out to us. We saw the following animals:
- many, many birds (if you're a bird watcher, you'd have the time of your life here)
- Giraffes
- Ostriches, males and females
- Warthog babies
- Elephants, males, females, and babies (LOTS and LOTS of elephants)
- Wildebeest
- Grant's Gazelle
- Cheetah and cub
- Water bucks, males and females
- Peacocks
- Buffalos
- Dik diks

While we were having lunch, John saved me from a monkey that tried to attack me. This is no exaggeration, it really is a plus to have a Maasai warrior as a tour guide!

We exited the park at 4:23pm. I was dropped home by 8:02pm.

This trip cost me $242 in total which is MUCH less than any Tarangire Day tours I have seen, which didn't include pick up and drop. If you're looking for a bang for your buck, and excellent service then this is the tour operator to go with!

Excellent experience (Kilimanjaro and Serengeti Safari)
5/5

We had two very amazing experiences with Nyange. First, our Kilimanjaro trek with our guide Francis, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. The trek was absolutely wonderful, and something we had been dreaming of for years. Thankfully they organized it all perfectly. Our second trip was the 5 day tour to Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro. Another great experience. Our guide Alan, was so great, and really did his level best so that we could see as many animals as possible. I can only praise all their hard work to make our trips as smooth as possible.

Ngorongoro Crater Adventure
5/5

At the last minute a small group of five friends I was leading on an aid trip to a rural village south of Dodoma decided they wanted a safari. With 2 weeks before departure Praise and his excellent staff arranged a two night full day trip into Ngorongoro Crater. Praise was in daily contact with me as the arrangements were made, picked us up at the airport, great safari and delivered my group of five to Dodoma for our aid work. Our guide Rashid was an excellent wildlife spotter finding us 3 rhinos, lions, Serval cat, he knew his birds which made us super happy and was pleasant and helpful. Can’t go wrong, I’d recommend Nyange to anyone!
