Fantastic tailor made travel in Uganda
Intek Travel organised our tailor made family vacation travel in Uganda during ou Christmas get together 2017 vacations. The expectations of all five of us were met (aged from 18 to 55).The hotels and lodges were in beautiful settings, were very clean, comfortable, and service oriented. The food in Uganda is delicious ; nearly all restaurants served also very good indian vegeterian food. Ugandan people are overall very welcoming and merry. The safaris are breath taking. We visited Mburo, Bwindi, Queen Elisabeth and Murchisson Falls and also lake Bunyoni in 8 full days (it is a short time considering all we wanted to visit). But, we were able to visit so many parks, and without exhaustion thanks to the overall quality of the roads but mostly thanks to the good organisation of our travel by our Ugandan based travel agency , Intek Travel. The vehicule and driver provided from Intek travel were perfect for our travel. Wild life in Uganda is really wild and we saw many many wild animals in their natural habitat.
I highly recommend our travel agent Intek Travel and I highly recommend visiting Uganda for safaris and beautiful vacations.

Stress-free Adventure in Uganda
If someone had told me that it was possible to go on an African Safari for the first time and it would be a completely stress-free, relaxing, safe and first-rate vacation all the way through, I wouldn't have believed that was possible. But then I found Diana and her team at Intek Travel...
All the way through, my wife and I were very impressed with the detail of the planning and the quality of the lodging, guides and drivers that Intek works with. We feel very lucky that we found Intek and Diana's team and we're grateful for all they did to make our trip one that we will always treasure.

Great travel company.
All our questions about our travel arrangements were answered very quickly. They were very accomodating when we needed to make changes. Our tour guide, Wilson, was very knowledgable and all the details of our trip were worked out smoothly. When we had some sick family members, he made sure that they were looked after. We had a great safari experience and Wilson made sure we were able to get the best experience possible during the safari. We saw lots of wildlife and the cruise was great. Overall the travel company was very professional.

Professional!
Intek Travel was there and very helpful all the way from booking to ticketing to follow-up.
They always called back and never at any time gave the impression that my relentless calls bothered them one bit.
They advised when I had a hiccup with one of the ticket bookings I had earlier made with another agency and I saved on some money.
The ticket was thoroughly done, meeting all my time specifications; in fact they helped with the ticketing on the deadline day when my VISA card had issues-they know whom to trust.
The information on the ticket like the reference etc was clear and concise. It made online check-in a walkover, ensured I travelled with my yellow fever card etc, guaranteeing a hustle-free flight to Vancouver and back. This is not the case with my partner that booked with another agency. My flight had no surprises.
I would be glad to recommend them for other business; they know what they are doing and are very professional.

The holiday of a lifetime organised superbly by Diana and her team
We had one weeks holiday in Uganda and we contacted Diana at Intek Travel to ask if she could help us. She was quite outstanding and made really helpful suggestions and sorted out the holiday of a lifetime for us. We didn't know where we were going so it was really helpful to have someone with local knowledge who completely understood the type of thing we wanted. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish and the trip was incredible. We went up to Murchison falls game reserve via the Rhino sanctuary and Diana had suggested a sundowner trip on the Nile with Wild Frontiers and then as stay at Pakuba lodge with a walk up to the top of the Murchison falls and then a night in the Budongo Eco lodge to go Chimp trekking. It was all perfect. In a short safari around the park (we had already been in Tanzania so wanted to experience some safari but also other things like the Chimps) we saw all of the main game including two leopards, lion, elephant, buffalo and dozens of different antelope and birds species. It was a truly magical experience. Our guide/driver Wilson was quite outstanding and knew all the places to look as well as being a mine of information. We then had a couple of days in Kampala with Wilson as a guide and a final day white water rafting on the Nile from Jinja. Nothing was too much trouble for Diana and we cannot recommend her or Intek travel too highly. We will certainly be using them again and please know that if you use them you will be in extremely competent and experienced hands.
Outstanding!
We have returned from our four day safari and it was excellent! I can't imagine how our trip could have been better. Everything was absolutely excellent! We loved our guide - Wilson. What a great guide. He went above and beyond in everything he did for us and ensuring our safety but also that we had an excellent tour. When he took us to game tour - he was outstanding. He took us to places I doubt others go and he pointed out animals we didn't see until he showed us. It was utterly amazing.
Please know that if we ever come back to Uganda and do another trip, we will be contacting Intek Travel!

Extraordinary Experience With Great Staffing and Organization
I went to Murchison Falls in a family group of 11 people (adults and 3 kids). We were there for 4 days of safari, and we all absolutely loved it. (I will note that Diana at Intek was patient and lovely with our various pre-safari questions. Her communications were clear and she was happy to clarify if/when needed.)
We were in 2 vans, and our drivers/tour guides (Ronnie and Abdullah) took us kindly and thoughtfully every step of the way. They were knowledgeable and approachable, and while we felt very safe, they also took an exciting approach to the experience (eg, driving off the path into the tall grasses of the Savannah on occasion). They were patient and it was great to really trust them as they days went on. They literally made every effort to make sure our itinerary went smoothly as as originally-described. They really went above and beyond.
We stayed at Paraa and Chobe Safari lodges, and those were also great experiences (staff was better at Paraa). Our boat tour guide, Ben, was excellent.
The whole experience exceeded expectation. We saw so many incredible animals and beautiful landscapes -- truly a magical holiday that was once in a lifetime.

Helpful and Professional
Diana was very helpful in setting up my Gorilla Tracking excursion to Bwindi. She did all of the leg work so that all we had to do was enjoy the trip.
Robert, our driver, was courteous and professional and provided invaluable assistance during the trip.
