Unforgettable experience, incredible scenery
5/5

We had a custom made trip arranged by Ene for a group of 6 persons. We had a week for safaris in Ngorongoro, Manyara, Serengeti and Tarangire, later another week rest at Zanzibar. Our group was lead into safaris by a driver´/guide Freddy, who was so incredibly friendly and nice, by the end of our journey we felt he is our brother from another mother.
Personally, I did not know what to expect as it was my first safari ever. However, already on the first day I was blown away with the scenes in Tarangire; we saw more animals I could dream of, most from very close range. As we soon found out that was just an introduction to our amazing trip, over the week we saw all animals we had dreamed about, from the big five just a rhino managed to hide from us. We witnessed activities and action, which you can expect from National Geographic programs but not happening in-front of you, such as back of lions hunting down a buffalo herd, cheetah nursing her cups just few meters from you, elephants chasing away lion herd, etc.
I had one fear before going to Tanzania, I was afraid of black mamba as one of the most poisonous and fast snakes in the world. When I asked from locals about the mamba threat-level everyone assured me that there are no mambas, you're not going to see it even from far away. Yet, at one rest stop in Serengeti when we were all out of the car, a black mamba appeared from bushes and wriggled extremely fast towards us. Before I realized what it could be the snake was already just few meters away, naturally me filming it innocently. The mamba was smarter than myself, it changed direction and hide itself into nearby termite nest. Only at the very end of this encounter a local man nearby shouted at us to keep away - it is a black mamba. Then it hit me how close it was...
As travelling around we spent nights at very different locations, some, such as Rhino lodge (more like hotel!), was extremely exotic and luxurious, the buffet was sooo tasty!!!. Some other venues, example the lodge in Serengeti, surprised from the other angle. Not that we could not survive there, but just a prior information about its modesty would of helped to prepare us. The place was extremely worn out, with broken windows, no running or warm water (water was provided in buckets), not mentioning about wifi (for few of us a permanent daily internet connection was very important due to some personal events happening at home), electricity was gone at 10... It is somewhat sad that lodge owners do not see any need to invest into their property there, they will always find someone who is looking for the roof over the head at Serengeti, the demand is obviously high. As a recommendation - do inquire information about your sleeping facilities to avoid surprises.

Ene and her team was extremely hospital and helpful throughout the trip. Even though we happened to be there at very busy time for the organizers, there were other groups coming and leaving, Ene was always available for us to answer any questions and solve problems even from far away. Just to mention another incident at Zanzibar where resort managers had improvised and relocated our group into in their words "equal" resort, which turned out to be a total s...t hole. Ene, being herself at Safari somewhere at mainland, gave us full assistance so we managed to solve the problem in few hours and were relocated to a decent resort.
Another hint: at Zanzibar you can trust beach boys to arrange trips for you. At our beach was a local man who called himself Sweet Banana. First I was suspicious towards him when he approached me at the beach, but after some French quests recommended him I started talking to him. With a little negotiation we got from him trips at half price than the same offered by the hotel. In the end, example at the snorkeling trip, we were all in the same group; these who paid at hotel and we who paid half price. In few days Mr Banana arranged for us anything we needed - a taxi service, purchasing beer at fair price, anything we needed.
There is more to share than anyone would bother to read, I have been lengthy already. To wrap up, the trip indeed was incredible. I could not imagine to witness so many special moments, I made so many photos/videos of animals and locals that already during first days my device run out of memory. Hint - take with you a sufficiently large memory card! None from our group had professional photo equipment, however, we have collectively so many incredible photos I don't think we missed anything; fortunately today's smartphones have sufficiently good cameras and we were really close to the animals. Our driver Freddy was truly exceptional in finding these special moments - he is a strongest asset for the company, very much oriented at serving clients to their highest satisfaction. And then Ene, she put it all together and made it possible, beyond what words can ever describe! Many thanks!!

Awesome experience with professional guidance
5/5

I booked for me and my 12 years old child a tour to Tanzania at September 2018 and it was very successful for both of us. We climbed Mount Meru and later on had few more days of safari experience.
It was the first time for us at Africa and for sure not the last one.
Emmanuel- Thanks for everything.

Awesome safari trip!
5/5

I would like to thank Emmanuel and Ene for organizing us a wonderful safari in Serengeti, Lake Manyara and NgoroNgoro parks.
Everything was really well organized and on time, accommodations with high quality. Emmanuel is a nice guide who really takes care of his customers in order to meet their expectations. He is a guide who you can trust and this really matters when you are thousands of kilometers away from home! Highly suggested!

Great adventure!
5/5

Our group of 9 members would have been a challenge for every tourist company, because almost everything that can happen to you far from home, on your first African trip, climbing the highest mountain in Africa, happened. But Ene and Emmanuel formed a fantastic team who were able to find a solution to every problem occured. I can’t imagine how should we’ve got through everything just by ourselves without knowing local customs. It was amazing how Ene had always time to solve every little worry and fulfill every little wish we had. And there were plenty of such little wishes. If someone is kind, patient, forthcoming, honest, solution-oriented, then her name is Ene. She literally cares and makes sure that your Tanzanian experience would be perfect. Personally, I can also say that I found a good friend, whom I will certainly turn to next time to discover this part of Tanzania, which was left unexplored this time. And, of course, summiting Kilimanjaro was great experience! Thank you, Ene and Emmanuel!

Great Experience!
5/5

We wished for a safari and meeting with tribes. We visited Tarangire and Ngorongoro parks and 2 tribes. All experiences were great! A big thanks to Simba who guided us through everything and was an excellent companion! And Ene was available all the time if we had any questions. So we had super time! After safaris we went to Zanzibar to where they also arranged our transfers and hotel. Transfer in Zanzibar was also excellent and we did love our hotel. After arriving to Tanzania i had myself i pole pole (no hurry) mode, but with Siafu we did not experience that. Everything was really well organized and on time! Thank you and we will hopefully meet again!

Excellent experiance!
5/5

I had 14 days trip planned to Tanzania! Trip what i planned had to include kilimanjaro climb and three days of safari so i would also have time to visit other places and to do some other available tours aswell near Arusha. After searching around and asking for offers i decided to choose Siafu Tanznia Safaris. They made me excellent offer and were really helpful while planning the trip. After arriving one of the company owners was waiting me at airport and transported me to hotel. He anwsered to all my questions and introduced local life to me. Since i had first day free after arriving he organized visit to local neighbourhood what included visit to waterfall near Arusha, some local banana and coffee farms. Also had nice lunch in my day guide home with Tanzanian food and coffee what was excellent experiance. Kilimanjaro climb was organized well - guides, cook and porters were top level and helped out with everything. After Kilimanjaro i had three days safari at Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. They guide knew best places and talked alot about local animals and their life. Saw some amazing scenes what i had seen only in nature movies (lions pack hunting wildebeest, lions with cubs etc.)! Safaris where oranized very well, we slept in tents since im used to it, but if you would prefer sleeping in lodges then they can organize it aswell.

I also suggest you that if you are into birdwatching then let them definately organize visit to lake duluti. Duluti Green Foundation Coffee farm is also good place to visit if you love coffee. They give you nice overview of coffee plantation and its history, also you have change to make your own coffe from dried beans (cleaning, roasting, grinding etc.).

Overall it was excellent experiance and i definately suggest you to use Siafu Tanaznia Safaris as trip organizer.

Brilliant, precise and helpful.
5/5

We took the tour to Klimanjaro and 3-day safary afterwards. Everything was working with minute accuracy (which is not so common in Tanzania) and we got the best suggestions about the route and schedule. Also the driver/guide was really professional and knew exactly what he was doing (for example where the animals are active at certain moment) and told us colorful stories about local way of life so we understood more. Anyway it was priceless experience and thank you for this.

Amazing experience
5/5

It was an amazing experience and great moments. Very satisfied with the overall organisation of the safari from Ene. We were well informed and prepared before hand and got very good advice and recommendations from her. We had a very friendly driver/guide Emmanuel, who managed to track down so many different animals. He arrived punctually in the morning of our first day, and we felt very safe on the road to the parks with him. Great dinner and basic but very comfortable accommodation. They did an amazing job, these days were one of the best of our lives and we truly recommend you this company who did an amazing job for a very reasonable price.

Great guide and wonderful experience.
5/5

I went to one-day safari in Tarangire and the experience was great! All was well-organized and made easy for us. Had rather big lunch at the spot also. We managed to see a lot of animals. Many zebras, graffe, elephants, lions, wildbeests, monkeys and even a hippo.
I very much recommend :)

Amazing Experience
5/5

My family and I spent 11 Days with Emmanuel from Siafu tours. Right from the start he was quick to reply to all my questions and emails. He provided a sample itinerary and was open to changes so in the end we had a personalized itinerary that fit where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. Emmanuel was an amazing ambassador for Tanzania. He was warm, welcoming and took the time to ensure my children enjoyed their time on Safari. His knowledge of the game parks ensured we were able to see every animal imaginable. One rainy day he asked if we wanted to take a long drive into the Serengeti, we are so glad we did after many hours we came upon a hill of rocks with 7 lion cubs and 3 mother lions, we were able to enjoy seeing them play by ourselves for a good hour before other jeeps found us. Highly recommend taking a tour with Emmanuel and Siafu tours
