Our tour operator was very enthusiastic about everything from the small insects to the Big Five!
It is tough to put in words how amazing our experience with Shinzelle Safaris was. From the beginning planning stages, to the transport from Johannesburg to our lodge, our food, and then to the outstanding safari - everything was planned perfectly and was beyond our expectations! My husband and I instantly felt a connection with Dani and Brandon, and had many great chats and lots of laughs! They are such a fantastic couple, their passion for the African animals and the nature is outstanding and their zest for life is infectious!! :)
We did the 4 day safari with the panoramic tour and loved every minute. We love listening to Brandon explain everything, from the majestic animals to the trees, plants etc. He is a wealth of knowledge and a great story teller!
If you are looking for a Safari in Kruger - you have found it!!
My only regret is that we didn't stay for a month! :)
We LOVED it!!

Good organisation and beautiful tours with a lot of information
We booked the full day safari including pick up and drop off. We were lucky and had the full day game drive alone together with the guide Kyo. He grew up in this area and gave us a lot of information about the parc as well as the animals and nature. We really enjoyed it. On the second day we booked a sunset tour which was operated by the Kruger Nationalparc which was also an amazing adventure.
Keep going guys!

Great hospitality, good food and and excellent game viewing safaris
We did the 5 day Kruger Park/Panorama tour and had a fantastic experience. From the outset Danny and her enthusiastic team made us feel welcome and ready to enjoy our stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with tea/coffee provided. Our main safari guide, Jay, was passionate and knowledgible about his job and we often went off the main roads to find exciting spotting opportunities. We were rewarded with seeing a number of rare wild dogs right next to us, as well as eyeballing 2 large rhino a few meters from us!
After returning at about 3 pm we could enjoy the peaceful Windmill Retreat gardens before gathering for a tasty homemade dinner--2nd helpings available too! On my wife's big birthday, they even made a lovely cake to celebrate--a very nice gesture and reflects Shinzelles' commitment to excellent customer service--we can highly recommend Shinzelle Safaris if you want a value for money, professional and well organized game safari experience.
Energetic, accommodating and making it work.
We took the 4 day safari, and were pleased when we arrived to be upgraded to the Honeymoon Cabin. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom modern and looked recently renovated. A hot tub was on the porch, as well as an outdoor shower. The camp was quiet, bordered by woods. All the members of the small staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. We took three safari tours in Kruger, as well as a tour of the beautiful Blyde Canyon area. Each guide on the safari was different, but we thought Jaden was definitely the best and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and where to get the best sightings. The staff went out of the way to accommodate my vegan diet, however I would suggest that they offer all guests more locally produced fresh fruits and veggies. I was frustrated to see beautiful avocados and oranges being sold on the streets, but none being served. I would have much preferred having a nice fruit or avocado salad instead of "fake" meat. Also a fresh piece of fruit in every ones breakfast box (as other camps offered) would have been nice instead of a cake/muffin. Juice with a high sugar content can't replace fresh fruit.

Excellent tour and experience of a lifetime
Our family of three (with a seven year-old) enjoy the Safari experience tremendously over the 3 days. We initially have misconception about safari and whether it's suitable for seven year-old. Our guide Jayden ensured that we were notified on the safety information.
Jayden is very knowledgeable and experience. We learnt a lot about wildlife during the trip. It's like watching National Geographic but even better! It is totally awesome to see the animals live!

Well organised, good liaison, excellent guide and unforgettable experience
We did the 4D3N Kruger and Panaromic Tour Experience. Due to our flight schedule, we had to change the itinerary of the trip and Danielle/Amy kindly accommodated our requests. We were given an upgrade to our room with private candle light dinner. What a great way to enjoy our honeymoon. Our guide, Jayden entertained us throughout and was very knowledgable about the safaris and behaviours of the animals. Caught the big five and many other animals up close. Guess the point in spending so much to go to a safari is because each trip will definitely be different. There is always the anticipation of possibility spotting an interesting sight, the disappointment and frustration when you missed something and the satisfaction when you see something out of the blue. The leopard and the lions were just meters away from us. The panaromic tour would have been better if not for the fog. We managed to see half of what was planned. On our last morning safari before departure, we were treated to a big surprise; a pack of wild dogs along S1 when we were driving towards Phabeni gate. Totally enjoyed ourselves and it was an unforgettable experience for my wife and I.

Excellent, unique safari operator and lodge.
My wife and I booked with Shinzelle as part of our honeymoon visit to SA. The experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Communications with the owners were clear and timely, staff at the lodge were beyond friendly and helpful, and our guide Jason was great as both an animal tracker AND a companion. The very first morning we went out with him he found us a leopard that another truck had just blown heedlessly by, and got us so close to it you could tell it had blue eyes. His knowledge of the animals and environment was unmatched, and his skill at understanding the park got us fantastic sightings that many other guides would have missed. Absolutely would book with Shinzelle again on a return visit.

The best Kruger experience
I had the best trip to Kruger with Shinzelle Safaris. Everything was taken care of for me. Someone picked me up from the airport, took me to Hazyview for a transfer to another vehicle that took me to the Windmill Country Retreat. Then they took care of us the whole time we were there until it was time to repeat the trip back to the airport.
Our guides were top notch. They took us into the park and were pretty good at avoiding the crowds and getting us a more intimate experience with the animals. We saw the Big Five within the first two trips, and each subsequent trip was just us getting better pictures of the animals. It was a blast.
When we weren't in the park, we had a nice little cottage to unwind in. Each evening, they cooked a great dinner for us. They were even able to do laundry for us, allowing us to pack even lighter for our trip. Sadly, we didn't have any monkey visitors to see, but we did have a nice little Dik Dik eating outside our cottage one evening.
All in all, if you're thinking of visiting Kruger, use Shinzelle Safaris. Everyone was nice and more than willing to do whatever was necessary to give us the best trip we could get.

Great Safari with a competent and very friendly crew
I booked with Shinzelle after my daughter traveled with them a couple of years ago: I was not disappointed. Not only they are very professional, but they also make you feel like you're part of their family. Their guides are very knowledgeable about the animals and the ecosystem. They are also very safety conscious and respectful of the fragile environment they bring you in. They listen to your wishes and will try to accommodate them as much as possible. Their trucks are in very good condition and they keep the number of guests per truck low for everyone to have ample room and take the perfect shot.
Highly recommended!
