An amazing experience which I plan to repeat!
Everything was well organized, punctual and for a fair price. Jeff, our driver, was good and knowledgeable about animals, birds and plants. We had the chance to see 4 of the big five and, this thanks to the good eyes of Jeff. We appreciated that our vehicle was always keeping a respectful distance from the animals.
Vehicle clean and in good condition, we always felt safe.
Thank you for making our first experience in Tanzania a pleasant and memorable one!

Great team got me up Kilimanjaro
An amazing team of porters, a cook and a guide (Abdul) supported me in my journey up Kilimanjaro. Abdul was very informative - initially meeting me at the hotel and making sure I had the right gear, and then always making sure I was prepared for the next days hike while on the mountain. He was knowledgeable about Tanzania too and told me stories of the different tribes who make up the country. The rest of the team were supportive and friendly. I left feeling I had gotten more than my money's worth and would totally recommend these guys - they went above and beyond at each step to make me feel welcomed.

The overall arrangement is satisfactory
The whole trip was very smooth, the guide took us to see a good scenery, but also very lucky to see a lot of animals, took a lot of good-looking photos. The guide was very nice and we had a nice chat.

Unbeatable overall experience
This 14-day trip was my fifth safari with Dusty Roads, with Geoff as my guide for each one, and each time is better than the previous. Dusty Roads has “default” accommodations for certain locations that I enjoy, and I trust their suggestions for other locations. They can also suggest a variety of activities (which I have used on other trips) such as hot air balloons (Serengeti), night game drive (Tarangire), aerial walkway (Lake Manyara), and cultural visits (Maasai, Hadzabe, Datoga).
Geoff can spot animals with the naked eye that I have trouble seeing with binoculars, and he knows my interests so well by now that, for instance, he pointed out a sycamore fig tree growing on the trunk of an acacia (just because it is unusual), and will stop for anything from an elephant to a butterfly. The highlights included a hyena den with two very young pups; a serval cat; a hyena struggling to keeps its gazelle carcass away from two jackals and a horde of vultures; and a herd of wildebeest and zebras in eastern Serengeti that was in the tens of thousands. Also MANY lions, several leopards, half a dozen cheetahs, a big Nile monitor lizard, and the expected countless elephants and other animals large and small.
All in all, a wonderful trip. I will be going back for more.

We found our tour operator to be friendly, helpful and supportive.
My family and I had been planning a trip to Africa for many years. We spent a lot of time researching the best time of year and location in Africa. Dusty Roads was one of the most competitively priced tour companies around and they did not disappoint with service.
The communication with the trip organiser was very good. Abel provided us with all information and answered all questions regarding visas and vaccinations.
Our tour guide Andrew met us at the airport and from there we started an amazing safari. As we moved around, the game parks got bigger and more impressive showing us a different array of wildlife. In one area within 500m we were able to see lions, buffalo, zebra, hippos and crocodiles. Unbelievable!
The accommodation was wonderful and more than what we expected for our midrange budget. The food was tasty and plentiful. A highlight would have been our camping experience in the Serengeti where we stayed at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp. It was truly outstanding with huge tents housing double beds, showers and toilets inside each tent. On both nights we heard lions roaring and hyena's laughing.
I have already recommended this trip to family, friends and colleagues at work. This small company provided us with a safe, truly memorable experience with a very competitive price.
Thank you so much for the trip of a lifetime.
