Just completed a 7 day tour covering everything in Kenya that we wanted to see curated by Wilson at Kichaka Tours. Our expert guide Victor was kind, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure we saw everything on our wish list … despite being long days he never rushed us and we came back each day in awe of the sights we saw. Exceeded all expectations and would highly recommend !

Kichaka surpassed every expectation I had regarding my African safari

From our arrival in Nairobi to th end of our safari tour, Kichaka ensured the utmost comfort and a fantastic safari experience Special shoutout to our tour guide / driver Bonny. He was exceptional, and went above and beyond his job description to ensure that there were zero glitches in our trip.

We 2 couple had traveled for 3 day Masai Mara park in February 2017 via Kichaka Tours & Travels. We had a satisfying tour . Before planning our tour we had regularly communicated with madam Jackline and she had always replied immediately to all our querries.
We had asked her for budget tour which she had arranged at the price as settled between us. Our stay was quite comfortable and our guide cum driver Mr Francis was an exellent person , very energetic and cooperative.
We didn't found anything controversial as our tour went according to the schedule and as per the intennerary which she had given to us.
I found Kichaka tours very cooperative and adjustable . you can remain confidant that they want take you for a ride. I mean they were quite clear about what they will provide , there were no extra demand other then what they had quoted .

Fantastic safari, excellent customer care
I can highly recommend Kichaka as a safari operator. We travelled to Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and the Mara over 9 days, and had an an amazing experience.
We had been on the brink of booking with Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris and were incredibly lucky we didn’t (read the TripAdvisor reviews!). Naturally we were therefore a bit apprehensive when booking through another local operator, and chose Kichaka as they are members of KATO so that we felt we had some sort of financial protection. We needn’t have worried. Geophrey was incredibly helpful in putting together a suitable itinerary, answered all emails promptly and allowed full flexibility with regard to itinerary and accommodation choices. He kept us informed about bookings, sending confirmation vouchers and updates. He also met us at the airport on arrival, along with our guide Victor, to double check we were happy with everything. The Kichaka office were constantly in contact with our guide throughout the trip to ensure everything was going to plan.
All the accommodation choices as recommended by Geophrey were excellent, very comfortable with good food and exemplary service.
Our guide Victor was without doubt the star of the show. Throughout the trip he was friendly, enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable and clearly keen for us to see as much as possible. This was exemplified by taking a couple of detours on entering the Mara late in the afternoon to see a leopard and a pair of cheetahs, even though we had been on the road for many hours and the easy thing would have been to head straight to the camp for the evening. Despite him feeling a bit under the weather for the last couple of days, his mood never dropped.
On returning to Nairobi we were once again met by Geophrey to see how we’d enjoyed the trip, and gather any feedback we had on possible ways to improve their service. Judging by the number of different companies’ safari vehicles we saw on the road, this is clearly an incredibly crowded marketplace and we felt that Kichaka’s focus on customer service helps set them apart from their rivals. We would have no hesitation in using their services again.

Excellent Service
We had a lovely tour with Kichaka Tours & Travel.
We appreciate the efforts & arrangements made on our trips/stays to Nakuru Lakes & Masai Mara, a beautiful experience of a lifetime.
With the experience of our guides Mr. Jonathan & Mr Ben, we and our friends could see the Big 5 in our first ever trip to Kenya. Both the guides spoke good English and very friendly and always on time for the safaris. They drove us safely to & fro Masai Mara and during al our safaris.
We would highly recommend this tour company for their reliability & good service.

I want to thank Kichaka Tours and Travel for their excellent quality of service all-round. I used them for a half-day safari drive round Nairobi National Park. Wilson replied very quickly to all my questions and was incredibly helpful and professional. He then put me in contact with Dennis, my safari driver/guide, so that we could confirm pick up in advance. I found this very reassuring especially as the pick-up was at 5.30am so I wanted to make sure it was reliable. Dennis confirmed with me in advance and arrived early so that we got to Nairobi National Park and were first in the queue before opening! This meant there were no delays getting into the park and I got to experience the full sunrise over the park - it was magical.
Dennis was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly on the drive. He also went above-and-beyond to help me see as many animals as possible during the trip. I had the best morning and would definitely recommend him and the whole Kichaka Team to anyone wanting a brilliant experience on safari!
