Lake Manyara & Ngorongoro Crate Safari
We were a group of 5 pax on a 2 day safari in Lake Manyara as well as Ngorongoro Crate.
We had a magnificent time and a fantastic tour guide, James.
Service and communication of the Tanzania Roadside Expeditions was one of the best we've ever had.
Ngorongoro Crate was absolutely breathtaking
Thank you for making our stay carefree and wonderful.
A trip of life time with Paul of Tanzania Roadside Expeditions
Very professional and very helpful and very friendly the tour was excellent. It has exceeded our expectations. The tour Guide and driver were very professional, friendly, and so helpful. It was a trip of a lifetime for me and my family. I have recommended this company to all my friends, Paul was so accommodating and very helpful, he is always available to provide advice. I am very happy to have dealt with this company. Their reputation is above excellent,
Paulo and his staff who were friendly, very helpful, knowledgeable, and always smiling!

We went to Lake Natron to see the oldest human footprints in the world - 120,000 years old! They are fossilized on the ground, in a fenced area that you can walk into.
We went to lake Natron and the Serengeti on a trip that Paulo planned for us. We wanted to see the Lake Natron hominid footprints made in the land 120,000 years ago, as well as visit local villages and schools. This area was very interesting and we walked around through a Masai village and interact with the herders, school children and various families for a whole day. The local women have many bracelets and necklaces to sell which were very colourful.
There were lots of pink flamingos in Lake Natron.
In the Serengeti, we saw all the animals on our check list, and lots of wildebeest and lions with fat bellies laying around under trees.

Awesome Safari in Tanzania
Our safari was great we loved all the travel arrangements through Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. Our tour took us through the many faces of Tanzania: Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti national park, our guides were extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We saw everything we'd hoped for; including cheetahs, a leopard, rhinos and so many lions we lost count.
All in all, I highly recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions, James and Ezekiel our guides.

9 Days Safari and Zanzibar
Our group of 4 went to this awesome holiday with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. There guys really know their stuff, and we had most amazing time in mainland safaris. But Zanzibar is a tale for itself...just perfect. All recommendations!!
Very thorough planning with Paulo. We felt safe and secure in all situations. will use him again.

Paulo was very thorough with his communications with us, and our trip was planned to our exact specifications.
We were met at the airport and taken to our hotel for a rest before doing some shopping around town. We wanted to buy some local art and crafts before heading out for our Safari, and we bought some wonderful glass, beadworks, and paintings, along with woven fabric goods.
We also went to the local market and walked around the many vendors. We bought a huge watermelon to cut up and eat when we stopped at a resting area to rest and enjoy the landscape.
We saw all the big 5 animals and have wonderful photos up close of the animals and colorful birds.
We also stopped to speak with local Masai farmers herding their goats and cows across the land. Our driver/guide told us lots about the people and customs and was always happy and helpful. We asked to stop here and there for photos and could stay as long as we wanted before moving in, which was great for me being an avid photographer.
Paulo kept in touch with us during the Safari to make sure we were happy and to see if there was anything more he could do for us. We would definitely use him again.

Professional and experienced safari guiding
Without much prior information except for some email exchanges with Paul, we decided to book our 6-days safari tour with Tanzania Roadside expeditions because of their flexibility to accommodate our exact wishes (we are a family of four with two teenage sons and hence different interests and wishes...) and at a reasonable price. The tour company choice turned out to be a lucky strike. Being driven and guided around for six days by James was a pure pleasure. Our trip included the national parks of Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara with one night in KatiKati tent camp in Serengeti. We saw all animals one can wish for including two leopards, three cheetahs and one serval cat. We also made a day tour to Lake Eyasi where we visited the Hazebe tribe -which we would really recommend as it is an extraordinary experience!
Our driver and guide James turned out to be an extremely dedicated and experienced tour guide and a very pleasant person to travel with. If requested, he will share a wealth of knowledge about Tanzanian nature and society and our journey to Tanzania would not have been at all as memorable had we not met and gotten to know James.
Being very pleased with the six-days safari, we decided to let Tanzania Roadside Expeditions also arrange guided tours in Zanzibar for us and one day of trekking on Kilimanjaro. These arrangements also worked out very well. We would without hesitation recommend James and Tanzania Roadside Expeditions to anyone looking for a memorable visit to Tanzania!

Fantastic Safari service
Some friends and I wanted to do a safari, but we had very limited time and had specific destinations in our bucket list. Tanzania Roadside Expeditions was the ONLY tour company that was able to cater to our needs, AND had very reasonable prices. They went out of their way to make things happen the way we preferred! Tour guides were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We absolutely loved every minute of the tour and the experiences we got because of them. I would most definitely recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions for their professionalism and expertise!

At short notice, they arranged for a group of 20 seniors on a tour of Kilimanjaro - very well done.
Excellent service, great communication, tours better than expectation. We will definitely refer others.
