Our wedding safari
- My emails were always answered immediately and very friendly. We were very happy with that.
- We were super informed about our trip.
- The accommodations were very nice and the food fantastic.
- Our guide was always on time. He had a great knowledge about the animal world and also told us a lot about the people and the culture.
- On the last day we went out to eat with Paul, the manager, and we could give him some feedback.
- Our honeymoon was just perfect. We thank Paul for the super organization and our guide James for the instructive and fascinating safari week.

I went on safari to ngorongoro crater and Serengeti and it exceeded all expectations.. knowledgeable, friendly and professional guide James , with good English, explained lots about the animals , landscape,& Tanzania, the accomodations ( hotel, luxury tents, and lodge) were great and good food each day; best of all we saw all the animals,& so many - black rhinos, tree leopards and babies, elephants, hippos, giraffes, African great python, lots of birds eg African crowned crane , water buffalo, wildebeest migration, baboons and monkeys,ostriches... overwhelmingly beautiful. Thoroughly recommended!

The team delivered beyond our expectations. They were punctual and willing to take time on every scene to ensure we got the satisfaction of every occurrence. I would highly recommend any other visitor to use their services. They delivered value for our money.

A very lovely trip
My friend and I went with the Tanzania Roadside Expeditions team , James Allan, Azekieli Senkoro and moshi hero John Mbando for 1 day trip to moshi (The first Chagga Live Musem, coffee tour and water falls) In the live museum oh my God how the tour guide of the immerse you in the history of the local history. He has an excellent way to explain the history and tradition. Then John took us to the coffee tour and the waterfalls. Although we were not lucky to see the process of making coffee, the company was very lovely and we enjoyed the place very much. They were very gentle and explain everything for us. For me as on a budget it was expensive but the good team made it worthy. It was a special day!
One of the things I didn't like in Tanzania is the tips as we already pay a good amount, but the we were not aware of it at all so we didn't pay them tips, and they were very elegant people that they don't annoy us to get the tips like what happened with other trips. Jame told me that we came as a client but we left as a family and it's totally true. Thank you dears for the wonderful day trip.

better than our expectation
I always was wondering about Safari. I found an opportunity to meet Paul who is owner of safari tour. He suggested me to see ngorongoro and trangeri national parks. He did not recommend me to see serengeti since I had limited time. I was lucky because I saw hunting between lion and gnu in trangeri. That's way I do not regret to go to Serengeti. As I know, a person sees hunting during his life just one time. It was life time experience. Paul met me with his driver whose name is Alfa Mniko. He is great man. In safari, if you want to enjoy, it depends on driver because you are always with driver. His ability is so important to tell you about safari and animals. I spend three nights with Alfa by staying in lodges. I enjoyed too much. I suggest everyone to meet with Paul and Alfa.

Total and complete care by Paul and James our guide.
Everything ran smoothly. Loved our guide James. He always was trying to get us to the animals from 8 in the morning to dusk. We had great experiences with the animals. Memories were made for us all to share.
Suggestion: maybe payments should be made through Safari Bookings web site and not directly to TRE.
We loveed it all.

Beyond our expectations!
As my wife and I were planning the Safari we got in touch with Paul and he basically took care of every little detail - from the hotel transfer to the accommodation, from the meals to the guided tours - everything was covered and very well organised.
Before we came to Tanzania we had a number of clarifications and Paul answered everything in an exceptionally friendly manner and in a timely fashion. Paul was able to come up with an itinerary that suited us perfectly and was custom made around our schedule. Paul stayed in touch with us until the minute he greeted us at the airport, together with our guide, James.
On our way to the accommodation, Paul explained everything - from the logistics to the actual safari. He also informed us that James, our guide, will be with us during the whole day and during our meals, starting with the breakfast all the way to dinner. At first we were very skeptical, but after the first dinner, James was exceptionally nice. During our meals he would explain what we were going to do the following days, but we also discussed other things because as both James and Paul highlighted that this not just a simple holiday, but one in which everyone involved can get to learn about the different cultures and countries. In fact, with James we discussed a number of aspects, from the ecological side to the economical aspect of the Safaris as well as the socio-political facets of Africa. These discussions gave our Safari a different twist as we were able to understand a number of things that perhaps go unnoticed from pictures and videos that we were accustomed to see.
During the actual Safari, it was evident that our guide was an expert in his field. He was able to identify and answer most of our questions (given that both my wife and I have an ecological and biological background, most of the questions were challenging). James was humble enough to admit that he does not know everything, but it was obvious that he would look up what we would have asked him and discuss it the next time we met.
After the Safari and on our way back to the airport, we were greeted by Paul once again who drove us to the airport. During the drive he asked us for feedback and to see what we liked and perhaps what can be improved, not just during the Safari, but even in relation to our itinerary and our day to day interactions with the locals.
To summarise: Tanzania Roadside Expeditions took care of everything even contacting the different accommodations to ensure that we do not waste a lot of time travelling from one park to another so as to make sure that we do not waste a single minute and make the most of our time. The communication was excellent, as was the services of Paul, and of our extremely knowledgeable guide, James. I would sincerely recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions to anyone, especially to those who are visiting Tanzania for the first time, since they made our stay simply delightful. Keep up the excellent work!!!

3-days-Safari in Tansania
We went to Lake Manyara / Ngorongoro Crater / Tarangine NPs and we were really overpowered of the nature and the animals. The tour was well organised of Tanzania Roadside Expeditions and also the Lodge (Olea Africana Lodge), food and transport was very good. We felt comfortable and welcome at every time. Our guide Jackson was a very good guide and always tried to give us the best spot and location to let us have a wonderful safari. We would definitly book it again :)
One note: Maybe we would not go to Lake Manyara because the other two NP were defnitly more exciting due to the amount of animals and the nature.

Fantastic experience in Tanzania!
This company came to my rescue when another one cancelled my safari last minute. Paul Justine was very accommodating, and resourceful in organizing the safari tour in a couple of days! Communication was very clear and timely. Before and after, we were able to ask and get recommendations for other places to visit in Arusha. During the tour, our guide Julius was great! He knew the best spots to find all the animals we wanted to see. He was very respectful and friendly. We really loved our tour. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for a very professional company that gives a personalized service.
