Kind, experienced tour operator
We went with Swahili Paradise Tours and Safaris into 2 National Parks - Ngorongoro and Tarangine. They were totally different, but we had a nice Tour Guide (Jimmy) and he show us all the aspects of both parks, including searching for some wild animals! We got good accommodation with great food, where we spent 2 nights! Time spent for Safari (2 days) was perfect, not too long not too short :)

Awesome Experience From Start To Finish
Did a 3D/2N Camping Safari that started in Arusha with an airport drop-off at JRO. From the start communication via email and Whatsapp was quick and efficient. I made arrangements with Jimmy which included a bank transfer deposit and paid the balance in Arusha with the smiling and friendly Mashaka. Juma our driver and guide was knowledge and great on the well planned game drives. Paul our chef provide some tasty meals that I'm sure added a few pounds. This trip definitely exceeded my expectations and I hope to do another one with Paradise Tours.

Excellent 3-day Serengeti and NgoraNgora tour
The communications, both written and oral, were clear. The service was excellent! The guides gave good description of the animals, birds and the nature with interesting details, noticed many animals which one can easily miss (especially cheetahs). Saw many animals: lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffe, monkeys, hippos, wildebeasts, zebras, ostriches, eagles, other birds, hogs. Saw a lion hunting a hog (luckily managed to escape). Visited a maasai village. Exceeded my expectations.

Amazing Experience All Around
Our experience with safari bookings was fantastic!! 8 of us in our group all had a once in a lifetime trip on the 3day safari. I booked everything through Jimmy who basically became our travel agent for any and everything we needed arranged! He had rides for us to and from airports and hostel suggestions for the days prior and after the safari. Everything ran smooth and on time and was professional and higher than our expectations! The food prepared by our chefs on the safari were a pleasant surprise too we really enjoyed it even though that was something we were worried about! The camping arrangements were top notch as well! Camping one night in the central Serengeti and another night on the rim of the ngororongo crater - we were in awe! The tents and sleeping bags were cozy as well, although you may want to bring a pillowcase and stuff some clothes in it to use as a pillow! During the safari I think we saw just about every animal we could think of - it was as if we’d name an animal we wanted to see next and out of nowhere boom it was right in front of us. There were 8 of us total in our group and not a single one of us has anything negative to say about this experience. A great deal budget camping for a safari and an overall fantastic experience! DO IT!

A good start with a terrible end game...
In the beginning everything was good with this company. I have spoken with Jimmy and he was so nice. I paid half part of the money in the summer. Then he told me my reservation is guaranteed. A few months later in September I got an other message and he wanted the other half of the price because my reservation was not guaranteed anymore. I didn’t want to pay everything in advance but finally I just accepted his argument and we wanted to go there.
After everything was ok. In the first few days our safari was amazing with our guide (Christopher). But after when we were going to back Arusha our experience has become terrible. John (Christopher’s boss) called us because something was wrong with the money and fees on the border of Ngorongoro. So we had to pay more 430 dollar. It was the only one way to go back Arusha. Finally John promised us we will meet in Arusha and he will give back our money in cash. Of course it wasn’t true. John just disappeared and when we arrived to Arusha Christopher got out of the car and ran away.
After this experience we realized these guys weren’t from Swahili directly. It was a no and company and Swahili just gave us for them. So I can’t understand what happened exactly that day. But we have a really bad experience with this safari so be careful and don’t pay in advance!!!

Change in itinerary, no communication maintained, overall a bad time
Communicated that pick up will be 07:45 am but the driver appeared at 6:30 and was insisting to join immediately as some other people are waiting. On the way after asking the driver I came to know the itinerary is completely changed and Jimmy didn't inform anything. Picked up from my hotel dropped at another hotel. Picked up by another driver and dropped to a camp in Manyara where I had no itinerary to go. After waiting for 2 hours picked up by the actual safari vehicle at 11 am and drove to Serengeti while the original itinerary was Tarangire for the first day and next day early morning start for Serengeti. The whole day gone driving to Serengeti and reached at 7 pm. No game drive on the first day and lost the whole day in travelling.
They didn't inform that the tents to be pitched by ourselves. Had to do that in the rain at night!
After Serengeti & Ngorongoro, no information received who will pick up and which camp as this group had the last day on Safari.
Finally was dropped to a camp near Manyara. The camp was fantastic, the first time in 3 days was feeling well in Tanzania.
Last day the driver was supposed to pick up at 7:30 am and the driver arrived at 9:30. As I had the flight scheduled at 19:40 from Kilimanjaro airport, one driver was supposed to pick up at the park gate so that others in the group can continue with the safari. No driver arrived. The safari had to end early for others also and drove on the way to Arusha. On the way petrol ran out and the driver was complaining that the safari company didn't pay full amount to fill petrol. Somehow he arranged petrol on a highway garage.
After a drive I meet the driver who is supposed to drop me to Arusha. The driver was driving the car as if its a bullock cart and he was so scared of driving in traffic.
I insisted that I am dropped in the taxi stand for taking a taxi negotiated with good rate for Kilimanjaro airport. I was informed one driver is waiting at Arusha to drop me to the airport and I was in an impression that the drop off could be complementary for making my life so bad for last 4 days! :) The driver dropped me and asked the full amount 40 USD. I could have easily take a taxi from the taxi stand with less fare if I was dropped there and in time!
Overall what is experienced is they are very bad at communication and tour management and do not care about client satisfaction. Although most of the people are good at heart and very simple. They need to improve communication & management.

Posted on Dec 30, 2019By the way Lok the sharing safari can start with any destination but all destination or parks listed on the confirmed list of itinerary MUST BE VISITED, so the group you join was already departed in a day before and it was already in Manyara thsu why we transferred you to Manyara to the meeting point where the group was located at the time being. But you visited all 4 parks and no park was scaped...hope you can confirm this.

8 nights Kenya and Tanzania Safari
We are 3 friends from Spain Who booked a Safari for 8 nights to Kenya and Tanzania the last January. We booked It from Spain, 2 months before going. It was really good. Good experience. This company was much cheaper than others, so that was one reason why we booked with them.
Jimmy was the person Who organised the trip for us and he is really attentive. Every time we wrote him, he answered rapidly.
We were all the Safari with an other company but the organiser of the Safari was swahilli paradise.
The cons:The planning was not as we expected. We were told that in Masai Mara we would do 3 safaris (1 afternoon Drive, 1 all day, and 1morning Game Drive) but the last one we did not do. Moreover, We were not picked up in The airport as they have told us. We were a lot of time travelling from one point to another. The rest was good, and Happy time there. Good lodges and meals included.
Then in Tanzania: the car was much better. I do not know why but we had to stay in the entrance of all the parks like 2 hours to enter because something happened with the money of the company. In Tanzania we slept in tents. The water entered in the tent during 2 nights and our luggages became wet during the travel from Manyara to Serengeti. The rest was good, beautiful landscapes, and we had a lot of time for visiting the parks.
All in all, we had very good time, good drivers, no problem with the car.The price was good, cheaper than others companies. So I think is worth It. The price and the kind of trip is more than good. So I would recommed this company.

3 days Serengeti & Ngorongoro tour
We have found and booked our 3-day Serengeti - Ngorongoro tour with Swahili paradise tours. Communication with their manager Jimmy was smooth and efficient. As soon as your tour is confirmed, you will be asked to pay half of the price via bank transfer. If you have any questions related to the Safari or general questions about Africa, you can ask Jimmy and he replies withing a couple of days. When we arrived to Arusha, Jimmy has sent one of his colleagues to collect the second part of the payment. Bring dollars issued after 2006, because banks in Tanzania do not accept old banknotes. If you need an airport transfer or excursions on Zanzibar, Jimmy will be also happy to assist.
According to our schedule we should have gone to Serengeti first and then to Ngorongoro. Instead we joined a group that started the tour one day earlier at Lake Manyara, had a breakfast and proceeded to Ngorongoro creator. It was a good decision of our driver Charles to visit Ngorongoro first and then Serengeti! The road between Serengeti and Ngorongoro is very bad, so if you start your trip in Serengeti, be prepared for 3 hours of dust! Thus, trust your guide if he offers to start in Ngorongoro.
In 2 days we managed to see almost all animals presented in those national parks: elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, crocodile, olive baboon, leopard, hippo, cheetah, lion, hyena, hyrax, golden jackal, impala, Thompson's gazelle, reedbuck, topi, warthog, Grant's gazelle, hartebeest, dikdik, Grey crowned crane, Kori bustard, Egyptian goose, vulture, moongose, agama lizard, Guinea fowl, secretary bird, ostrich, superb starling and many other small birds. It does not necessary mean that you will see all those animals, if you go another time of the year or even another day, because the animals do not stay at one place and always move, so the drivers will do everything what depends on them but you should be also a bit lucky.
Safari is always a roulette - sometimes you are lucky and see a lot of animals but sometimes you are not and see much less than expected. We could not find a rhino but there are only 50 species left and you can imagine that the probability to spot even one on the territory of 80.000 square kilometers in 5-6 hours is pretty low. However, we have seen how cheetah and pride of lions hunt, we saw a leopard sleeping on a tree, we saw an antelope hidden by a leopard on a tree, elephant family taking a bath, vultures eating zebra and it was more than enough in 3 days!
We stayed in basic camps in the tents. Our first night was in Lerai special campsite and the second night in Nyani public campsite. Both campsites were pretty good but the water in the shower is naturally warmed by the sun, so be prepared to take barely warm shower. Sometimes in the night you hear wild animals making different sounds close to the camp but it is very safe. However, you may want to have a torch, because it is pretty dark in the night far away from civilization :)
The last day we have seen a beautiful sunrise in Serengeti. Milky way in Africa is amazing!
