Excellent in Every Way
First and foremost, let it be known that I worked with two other safari companies while visiting Kenya, and I found them overcrowded or uncoordinated, or both. One company completely forgot that I even had a safari booked at all and was scrambling to find a driver the morning of the safari at 6am. It was bad.
Enter African Mosaic: a breath of fresh air. Max coordinated the safaris perfectly and was very communicative and transparent about costs, stays…everything. The lodging itself was gorgeous and comfortable. My driver and guide, Mr. Omar, was fantastic—kind, knowledgeable about the animals, punctual to the MINUTE, and he will even teach you Swahili phrases if you’re interested! The level of professionalism from African Mosaic is important in any international trip, but especially as a solo female traveler. For that reason, I cannot thank African Mosaic enough for concluding my Kenyan adventure in a wonderful way.

Quick to give responses, able to customize, professional driver!
We talked with Max from African Mosaic Tours. He arranged the itinerary and the airport pickup and drop, along with all stays, safari bookings, tickets etc. We had the same driver/guide for the whole trip. It was a great experience!

A very enthusiastic helpful operator
Hye,
We booked the tour from India for group of 5. Max was helpful right from planning the itinerary till we got back home after the trip. He was always available to accommodate our requests and guide us to give the best safari experience. Our assigned guide Teddy was very knowledgeable and extremely polite. He knew the parks very well. Our 7 day ride was absolutely memorable.
Thank you

Very well organised, extremely professional team giving the best safari experiences
From the very beginning, Max was prompt in his communication. He was very detailed and the entire trip went on exactly according to plan without any problem. We went to Masai Mara (staying at fig tree camp) , Lake nakuru park (staying at lake nakuru lodge) and Ol pejeta reserve (staying at Sweetwaters camp). All the hotels were inside the parks at very good locations. Our driver-guide Teddy was very knowledgeable about both the game drive trails and the wildlife. He was always eager to inform us about everything we saw. We saw almost every animal at very close range and the megaherd in migration. Teddy was even able to track the elusive leopard. We had direct interactions at giraffe center and with the rhinos at ol pejeta including Baraka the blind black rhino and Najin and Fatu the last living northern white rhinos. Overall it was truly the experience of a lifetime. I would advise everyone to do your trip with Max and African mosaic tours, you will be very happy.

Awesome experience
My 1-day excursion in Wasini Island with two other friends has been a great experience. The day was very well planned: we were picked up from our hotel in the early morning and taken to Shimoni. From there we sailed in the ocean looking for dolphins and whale sharks, went snorkeling and rested for a while on the beach. After that we had a very tasty seafood lunch on Wasini island and a short visit to a local village. The boat crew and tour operator staff were always very welcoming and always available. Highly recommended!

Tsavo east 2 days
We did the 2-day tsavo east safari . From the office they found us a group to share the safari with, they informed us very well and solved our doubts by WhatsApp. They came to pick us up at the door of our accommodation in Diani. During the safari we saw giraffes, red elephants, antelopes, zebras, lions... an unforgettable experience, one of the best days of my life.
We were positively surprised by the lodge, the rooms with views of the elephants, the buffet.... amazing.
Special thanks to Julius, our driver, who made the experience even better, if possible. I recommend 100% the experience and I will repeat for sure!:)

Perfect Safari Tour
I did the 1-day safari from Diani Beach and the trip to Waisini and had a really good time. I always felt safe during my tours!
Special thanks to my driver Omar for driving so well and spotting my favorite wildlife animals during the safari. I definitely collected lots of memories that were worth the money!
Big thank you Max for the whole (spontaneous) organization and even making it possible to make the trips for a solo traveler ;)
Overwhelming and simple
Okay guys this was one of my greatest experiences and I saw a many things around the world.
I got the number directly from my travel agent and this is how it starts. Max (owner) and I starting talking about safaris on WhatsApp. After 20 minutes was everything done and we had just to pay and start.
One day before the safari we paid in Kenya in our hotel. It doesn’t matter if want to pay in Euro, dollar, shilling or with the creditcard, everything is possible. Everything was relaxed.
On the 1st day we were picked up early in the morning by our guide Righan. He was so gentle and smart. We drove 4 or 5 hours to Taita Hills and Righan answered all of our questions about the Safari, the people we saw on the road, about Kenya … as we arrived, we started directly with the main part and saw the first animals. Our hotel ( saltlick lodge) is somewhere in this park but before we drived to it, he took us to a hill/cliff with a beautiful panorama. We made some pictures and enjoyed for some minutes the view. Every time we saw an animal or we turn on the camera he stopped immediately so we had the chance to take photos and he explained us every detail to the animal which was in front of us.
Then we checked in and had a break with lunch in saltlick lodge. It was so special because this hotel was build on large sticks so the animals can run underneath the hotel. As we ate, we saw the animals take a rest at the water right in front of the hotel.
After that we started for the 2nd tour and Righan tried his best to find different animals to show and explain us. And he did it. We saw everything what we wanted and even more. We was warned before that this is not a zoo and that we had to find the animals. It seemed Lions are difficult to find. With Righan we saw them 3 or 4 times… just for example.
With the sunset we arrived our hotel again, ate dinner and go to bed, because we wanted to start early next morning before breakfast. Great idea because some animals you will not see in the heat of the sun. He borrowed us his binoculars.
After the breakfast we had our last “game drive” safari and said goodbye to the animals the a special, because Righan called some birds and they were sitting on the roof of our car and on our hands for a second.
Nice ending.
It took some time to get to the main entrance of the park and he combined it with some more places we had to see.
After that we drove back to the hotel.
We are still surprised of all things we saw and all the information we got. Righan helped us a lot to understand the animals.
I recommend to everyone to do a safari, especially with mosaic tours, especially with Righan.
We got informed, surprised, handled gently, made smile.
The price was on point and I regret not a penny.

Very informative and helpful guides
Picked us up in Mombasa, Diani Beach at 5am when arranged. Drove us to first lodge, which took about 4 hours, so arrange some breakfast. Booked into Salt Lick lodge and had lunch before first safari drive.
Lodge was wonderful and so was the driver. After early morning safari and breakfast drove to the second lodge a Natungi. Again the lodge was great. Would recommend 2 nights at Salt Lick.
