Unforgettable Experience
We did a 12 days safari. Karim was our driver and guide. And the whole trip was a success and an unforgettable experience. The organization and time scheduling was perfect. Everything worked out as planed and promised in the itinerary. It was our first trip to Africa and before we didn't really know what to expect. Our driver and guide Karim took very good care of us. We felt very safe the whole time. Even more important we learned so many things about the country, animals, plants, daily living and the people. It was like having a living encyclopedia traveling along with you which you can ask when ever you have a question or wonder about certain things. These background information, stories and sayings made the things we saw/experienced even more beautiful or understandable. Furthermore we noticed that Karim was very well connected with people and authorities.
To sum it all up, I would recommend Home to Africa 100% and especially Karim to experience Uganda.

An amazing experience with a wonderful team
Our 9 night tour of Uganda was an experience we will never forget. Prior to arriving Elias and his team were always available to answer any questions and adjust things to make our tour perfect for us. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and were super surprised when we were taken to H to A office on arrival and presented with a beautiful cake to make the occasion.
Chris , our driver/guide was excellent and even when we had a flat tyre 2 days in a row , he stepped up to minimize the impact on us and our plans. He was very knowledgable and a great person to travel with.
We also had a Kenya visit organized through H to A and this worked out seamlessly as well. Although it was a different company , they were well informed and offered great service.

6-Day Safari Chimp, Gorilla Trekking and Big Game Combo
excellent planning, we have get best service and all what was agreed in the itinerary was received and more. The most important think is the family feeling during the whole trip. Nasser our guide was so helpful and supportive. We have had best game drives. All his recommendations were excellent.
The car condition and cleanliness were excellent. Chosen accommodations were perfect, clean and very comfortable. All food during trip was very nice. All options were available.

With fantastic guides and hospitable accommodations, we enjoyed every moment touring Uganda!
When my sister and I wanted to book a last minute safari (literally a month before), this safari company was more than willing to help us and host us for six days. They are extremely well organized, and they took care of all plans for the safari to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi, including our gorilla licenses for tracking, accommodation, all food, all transport to and from the airport and different parks. They are also staffed with the nicest team members. Our personal guide John was amazing, driving us from location to location, describing the landscape and history of the country and its contents, and making sure we were happy and satisfied during our six day excursion.
My sister and I particularly enjoy being active, and although a large part of the safari is in the car, John made sure that we were able to walk around or stand up through the sun roof on game drives in order to appease us! When we said we loved getting up early to watch the beautiful sunrise, he made sure that we did it the next day as well, and because he is an expert safari tracker, we got to see lions that morning as well.
The places we stayed were lovely and quaint with fantastic food, but what made the experiences were the staff at each lodge. They made us tea and made sure we had everything we needed to have a more than comfortable night.
Overall, the safari company surpassed our expectations, as did the activities. Tracking both chimps and gorillas was one of the most incredible experiences of my life, and Uganda has such beautiful scenery and wildlife that I was never bored even being in the car for six hours. Home to Africa truly showed us that Uganda is the pearl of Africa.

Outstanding service
Everything since the first contact was very clear and straightforward. Quick responses and very kind service.
During the safari, everything was very well taken care of and my guide was just amazing. He did everything to make sure my experience was the best.
The accommodations were just beautiful and comfortable (except for one of them) and food was delicious. Their staff and service was always beyond amazing.
All the activities and game drives were well organized
I would absolutely recommend Home to Africa :)

Super company!
Great experience with this company. From the start it was well organised. The booking was easy, the itinerary had to be swapped around as they couldn’t get passes for the gorillas so we ended up doing the route backwards to everyone else but we felt this was actually better!
Upon arrival Derick our guide was ready and waiting. He was superb the whole trip. Super helpful, knowledgable about the wildlife but also a good laugh! There is a bit of driving involved and you need that banter to make the drives more enjoyable.
Can not fault the company. Even though we had a mechanical issue with the car one day a solution was found quickly and we didn’t miss out on anything.

Derrick was extremely proficient and knowledge about our trip and was very helpful.
As my dad organised the bulk of the trip, his review is more relevant.
Efficient and very friendly
Well before we came to Ugadan we already had a safari tour in Kenya and Tanzania , so the attractive part of Ugadan should be the chimpanzee and gorilla bwindi mountain tracking, we enjoyed our days here but the lunch box prepared by the lodge was terrible and not even fresh some food was overnight leftover , so please feedback to them because the client will have stomach upset after having those food , staffs are very helpful and polite all the accommodation arrangement was acceptable and the service of our tour guide was excellent .he was a great guide and experienced but only thing that wakes up too early for us every day and at 5.30 am and too tired after three weeks traveling the rest were perfect thanks

The five star reviews are well deserved.
From the initial online contact, evening flight arrival to the tour that followed, every detail was looked after and Home To Africa provided the African experience I was hoping for. Derrick was my guide and he is an enthusiastic wildlife expert who is determined to show you as many creatures as possible and we covered a lot of ground and had a lot of laughs. Visited five national parks, the rhino sanctuary and the Entebbe botanical gardens on Lake Victoria. A few of the lodges were actually luxurious and the settings are tremendous. Endless vistas and rare animals abound.
