GREAT TRAVEL AND GREAT JOB
We were in Uganda with a group of Mexican photographers, we had the pleasure of having Karim and Balam as guides. We had a pleasant experience of the place, the nature and what we were able to observe was spectacular, that hand in hand with the excellent service of both guides, always attentive and attentive to our needs, with great knowledge of the species we observed. We are very satisfied with the service as a whole. Congratulations, you have a great team.

Amazing Tour and Fantastic service
The whole process from booking to the tour itself went really smoothly with Home to Africa Tours.
Our guide was Derrick and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He was brilliant, courteous, thoughtful and a lot of fun :)
He went above and beyond especially as i was not very well at one point and he made arrangements that i was still able to take part in everything. The Gorillas themselves are stunning to see and it is such an unforgettable experience. The silverback was so impressive.
We went on the 3 Day Bwindi Tour and i would definitely recommend it to anyone. We also loved the stop over on the way back at Lake Bunyoni where we stayed on one of the islands for the night, that was the perfect end to our trip.
Thanks so much Derrick and Home To Africa Tours.

An adventure in Africa we’ll never forget
What an incredible holiday! The team at Home to Africa excelled themselves, delivering a tour of the Masai Mara and surrounding area that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.
From crossing the Masai plains, to a Hippo-filled boat tour and cycling Hell’s Gate national park, our guide, Ken, took care of us from start to finish, creating a superb itinerary. With plenty of off-roading (great fun, but plenty bumpy!), we managed to see everything, from Hippos to Hyenas, Lion cubs to Leopards. The team had a wealth of knowledge about the animals and the area, which our daughter was able to soak up, whilst enjoying the hospitality of an incredibly welcoming group of people.
If you want a private safari that gets you up close and personal with incredible wildlife, whilst soaking up the African culture, we can’t recommend these guys highly enough! This is definitely one for the bucket list.

Uganda Uganda and Home to Africa Have It All!
If you only have time to visit one country it should be Uganda and you should use a local Ugandan company called Home to Africa. Our trip was delayed by two years due to Covid but Hedmond (in the main office) was so patient as we rearranged the trip twice. All done via email. Uganda has it all from primates (gorillas, chimps, golden monkeys-we recommend all three!) to the big 5 (rhinos in their sanctuary and Benon even spotted a leopard!) to local villages and stunning natural beauty (eg-Murchison Falls). We traveled by van with many roads challenging but still would not change a thing as we were able to see how the locals have to manage on a daily basis. There are options to travel by plane. Benon, our driver/guide, was an expert driver and so knowledgeable about the people, places and animals/birds. He would stop for local fruit, roasted banana, corn, cassava. We even found fresh gooseberries! Please ask for him if you use HTA. You can design your own trip with your own driver deciding on the level of the accommodations. It is a bit scary to learn to send a bank transfer for payments but the cost of your trip might be half that of a UK or US company and all the money goes to the local economy.

Amazing tour, excellent service
I had booked a 21 day tour through Uganda from east to west. Home to Africa provided excellent service and was always highly responsive.
The tour stops were excellently selected as well as the accommodation.
I like to mention my guide Alex Namaara, he did an excellent job and he is the best guide I ever had.

Amazing Rwanda experience with very reliable tour operator
Me and my friend went on a 6-day tour through Rwanda with Home to Africa. I found the tour to be super well organized and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything went smoothly and our driver and tour guide was super helpful, friendly and very passionate about showing beautiful Rwanda to its visitors.
We went in a spacious, comfy and seemingly new safari car for the whole trip and first off we went to Akagrea national park where just after entering the park we already saw the first zebras and elephants! We went on several games drives and not only saw lots of animals but also beautiful landscapes and views all around. We stayed in a nice lodge with a pool that also provided packed lunch options for whole day safari drives. All very well organized.
We went on to Musanze for several activities inlcuding a visit to a cultural village, golden monkey trekking, a canoe tour (amazing views of the volcanoes!) and my personal highlight the gorilla trekking! This experience was just magical and a dream come true. We also were super lucky and only went the two of us with the guide and tracker to see the gorilla family and spend an hour with them!
I would highly recommend going with Home to Africa as the tour was so well organized and everything went smoothly (from covid tests to hotel check ins and pick up/drop off at activities) and we could really just relax and enjoy all the activities.
