Great safari, great driver, great experience
The safari was excellent. Albert was the best driver we could have asked for. He went above and beyond to ensure we see as many animals and we have a great experience in our safari.
Accommodation was adequate but good enough.
But Masai village wasn't anything special so that could have been left out.
But all in all, 5/5!

Good organized
we did the 5 days Come in as guests & leave as family in a budget group joining tour in a land cruiser. masai mara lake nakuru and lake navaisha.
Lenox from axis responded very quickly and correctly to our questions.
the accommodations are budget but we certainly had nothing to complain about.
we had Dickson as a guide, driver, he was great knew a lot about wildlife, nature and culture.
He also did everything to make the group feel good.
He was great.
We saw 4 of the big five, except the leopard, but it was a great experience everywhere.

Reliable and responsive
We did the 4 days trip to Masai Mara and Lake Nakhuru. Albert was a great guide! Always punctual, amazing navigation and showed us the big 5 and so much more. The tour was good value for money, we’re very pleased and grateful for the experience.

If you want to feel the spirit of Africa Kikitu and Khalifa are the best guides, Lennox is a perfect
No matter how many times I have to choose a safari in Kenya with a group, my choice will always be Excise Africa because Lennox is the best organizer I know. I have been leading groups in Africa for a year and it is very important to me that my friends and clients are happy, relaxed and in safe hands. When I correspond to clarify the details of the upcoming trip, Lennox is always flexible and in crisis situations is ready to give the best solution and the best advice. At the last minute before our trip, the airline changed the flight times, so our time was shortened by half a day, and we had to cover the pre-planned points of the route - Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha with all the activities planned in the program. Lennox offered me the best arrangement of time so that we could experience everything planned even more. With the help of our guides Khalifa and Kikitu, we arranged a visit to a Maasai village on the very first evening upon arrival in the Maasai Mara before sunset. Besides the traditional welcome dance, when the sun went down the Maasai made a big fire especially for us, around which we sat, and they sang and danced for us again.
From my longtime guide and friend Kikitu, who is half Maasai, half Kikuyu, I learned incredible stories about Maasai life and traditions - stories you won't read in books or even on the internet. Khalifa is from Mombasa - a man with an incredible sense of humor, a quick mind and a real passion in the pursuit of unique wildlife footage. Both Kikitu and Khalifa are true "hunters" of wild animal sightings. Trust me, whatever animal you think you've spotted somewhere on the horizon, they've seen it long before you and know exactly what that animal is, while you'll need at least binoculars to spot it. They have a very deep knowledge of the life of the savannah, of the habits and specifics of each type of wild animal.
And last but not least, Kikitu and Khalifa know how to create a unique atmosphere during the trip with their energy. For me and my friends, it was a truly inspiring and invigorating experience.
Thanks to these wonderful people who are a pleasure to work with - Lennox, Kikitu and Khalifa. I will certainly return again with new friends to share more of the wonder of Africa.
I am happy to share my experience and recommend these professionals with big hearts, but I only pray that they always have enough time for me too :)

Excellent, Reliable ,reasonably priced Safari tour company.
Axis Africa is an Excellent, Reliable, reasonably priced Safari tour company in Nairobi. Our guide, Kevin was great. On time, persistent in finding all the animals, getting us close for viewing and photos and was very knowledgable about the animal or bird names. It was top notch. He and the companies service to their guests went beyond expectations. I would highly recommend them.

Above & Beyond!
We booked a private safari and had Rodgers and Caleb as our tour guides. Cynthia met us at our hotel, and introduced us to Rodgers and Caleb. Rodgers and Caleb were incredible, I cannot thank them enough for making our safari experience unforgettable. They were on time, kind, funny, and worked SOOO hard to make sure we saw the Big 5 (plus sooo much more), they were informative, answered all our questions and truly made our experience so special. We did a 4 night trip, in Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and ending in Hells Gate before being returned back to Nairobi. We took every opportunity to get into the parks early and it delivered- cheetahs, lions (with cubs!) and the King himself, elephants (and their babies!), and more pumbas, zebras and giraffes than you can believe! Cycling in Hells Gate was an awesome and unique experience and would highly recommend to anyone. We felt like we had more than enough time in each park and never felt rushed or like we missed out- and again that was partly down to Rodgers and Caleb being so good! The hotels were lovely, particularly the Lake Nakuru Lodge with views of the lake and zebras and Sopa Lodge where we walked within feet of giraffe and zebras- incredible! The food at all the hotels was lovely, staff were friendly and helpful. I can’t give one criticism of this trip, it’s amazing value for money, Rodgers and Caleb were on time for every early morning, and we’ve learnt loads about the animals and Kenya. We honestly had a brilliant time.

Five days, four nights safari in Mara, lake Nakuru and lake Naivasha
We booked a private safari tour for two and we were greeted by our tour guides Caleb and Rodgers. At our pick up, we were also greeted by Cynthia who provided us with our Axis safari tops which was a lovely touch.
Throughout the safari, Caleb and Rodgers were extremely thoughtful and attentive to our needs from the offset. On the first day, we visited Masi Mara and we were able to stop off on a couple of times on the way for pictures at our lesiure. On the first full day, Rodgers and Caleb picked us up at 6am to make sure we were one of the first to get into the national parks. This early start absolutely paid off as we were able to see all different animals, lions, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, warthog (which are hilarious), to name just a few. Caleb and Rodgers stopped at every opportunity to show us something new and explain in detail about what we were observing. They were incredibly knowledgeable and had many years of experience between them. They were able to answer all our questions and more. On this first day we didn’t get back to the hotel until around 6:30pm which meant our guides were working well over a 12 hour day and were amazing from start to finish making us laugh the whole day. We felt completely at ease and had the best of experiences.
The following days in lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha and hells gate were as equally amazing. Between these destinations we were able to see the big five animals including many of their younglings. The bike ride in hells gate is also an absolute must! It was incredible to cycle outdoors and see the beautiful scenery and animals along the way.
The hotels we stayed in were also amazing. The food was always great and they were in exceptional locations. The final hotel was spectacular in that we could walk alongside the giraffes and zebras with nothing between. They lived around the hotel grounds and being around humans appeared to be of no concern to these animals as they peacefully ate and roamed the grounds.
I can’t thank Rodgers and Caleb enough for making this safari experience so much more than just seeing the animals. From start to finish we laughed, learnt some of the local language, the Kenyan culture, and got as close as we could to the animals without disturbing their peace. I can’t imagine this experience without these amazing tour guides.

Best safari expérience ever!
From the beginning till the end, it was the best safari experience ever.
Our guide and driver Jack (Kulet) made our experience extra special with his knowledge and super driving skills. Everything went very smoothly and we got to see a lot of wildlife thanks to him. And not only he made sure that we had the safest trip, he helped at least 4 other jeeps that were stuck in the mud.
I would definitely recommend booking with Axis as it is very safe and trustworthy and ask for Jack to be ur driver if possible.
