Amazing
Well organized trip with amazing people. The accommodation was really nice. We were also pleased with our driver, John. This was our first safari, so really an unforgettable experience. We would definately recommend Axis Africa Safaris to everyone.

Everything on point!
My friend and I had am amazing experience at Masai Mara with Axis. Everything went super smoothly, from the pick up to the drop off. Our driver John was simple the best, great sense of humor, great costumer service and very respectul of the park. He would make sure you would see the best there was to see, while always respecting the environment. We stayed at Lenchada Camp which was really nice. My only recommendation for the camp would be to have a chill-out place beyond 10:00 pm

Exceptional, professional, and affordable
Fantastic service. They made every effort for us to see the big 5, which we did!!! The trip was perfectly organized. Our driver Jack is the coolest and nicest person with exceptional Safari skills. Lennox the tour organizer is super quick to respond and assist. Thank you all!!

Amazing Safari Adventure!!
My safari with Albert and Richard went completely above my expectations!! We saw the most amazing wildlife including 4 of the big 5 and had so much fun doing it. Food and accommodations were also better than expected! Wish I had them for the last day of my safari as well! Five stars!!

Great experience
My friend and I are just back from the 3 day safari and I would highly recommended it! We spent so much time in the park looking for the big 5! Our driver khalifa was brilliant! He really tried to make sure we got to see everything and was so informative and extremely friendly! The accommodation was lovely and very close to the park. Food was good not amazing so if you’re fussy maybe bring some food :) Definitely worth the money!!

Best moment!
Hi all travelers,
I went to 5-day safari tour with this company and had a really good experience.
The guides/drivers are really helpful, thank you Richard and Albert.
I saw all the big-5 in mid July, but next I will come back to catch the great migration!
Prepared hotels, accommodations and foods are amazing.
The driving experience is excellent.
The response (via e-mail and Whatsapp are super fast), and you will be able to have an airport transfer service from them as well.
Will come back to you again.
Thanks,
Jirawat

Most affordable safari in the Masai Mara
This was the best priced tour company I could find for a 3 day safari in the Masai Mara. The itinerary was great but our guide, Robert, tailored it to match the needs of the group. Would highly recommend this tour for all the budget travellers! Accommodation and food was basic, which was expected, but still good.

Best Safari ever!!!
We considered many options to bring a group of 6 on safari on a budget, and we are happy that we chose Axis. The driver was very skilled at driving difficult terrain and finding animals. We were able to choose a tented camp that suited our group needs well. Axis associates communicated with us to arrange the tour while we were in the United States and also to finish the arrangements once we arrived in Kenya.

Amazing safari experience
We’ve just returned from a 5 day safari with Axis Africa & it was amazing! We did 5 day Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha & Amboseli mixed camp & lodges. The camp for us was very basic (I’ve reviewed this separately) but this is no reflection on the company. I’d recommend researching the accommodation beforehand & making sure you’re happy with it - if not, ask for upgrades etc. For the price, it was manageable for 2 nights. The only other negative is the food wasn’t great. We eat anything but we struggled with the food quality so keep this is mind & think about bringing snacks.
The safari itself was such good value for money & the best priced out there.
The highlight for us was our guide Khalif - he was excellent. We’d just had quite a bad experience with our “guide” in Uganda so it was so refreshing to have someone who was communicative, informative, helpful but also FUN. Khalif made sure we saw everything!!! There was a transmitter in the van so that Khalif could communicate with other drivers in the park; this meant that if there was something happening we could get there & spot it ourselves. He knows a lot of facts about the animals & parks & all the best spots to see whatever animal we wanted. His rapport with the locals, other guides & park staff says it all - everybody stopped for a chat with him. He really was the best.
Communication beforehand was good & straightforward.
I’d consider paying extra to make your safari exclusive because then you aren’t restricted by other people’s schedules. Other members of our group set a leaving time of 06:00am one morning which we were fine with. We were up & reading, waiting for them outside their accommodation at 06:00am. At 06:10am ‘Mum’ walked out of her tent, walked past the van where we were sitting patiently & went & sat down to have her breakfast - we had to sit & watch her eat!
Things to note which are NOT a criticism of the company, just things to think about:
- the roads in MM NP are extremely bumpy! Be prepared for this.
- the roads in Amboseli are also bumpy & very dusty.
- you are not guaranteed a view of Mt Kili due to the dust & cloud.
- Lake Naivasha is quite a distance from Amboseli & there isn’t much wildlife there (except hippos) so if you have seen hippos previously, I’d think about skipping this. I’d recommend the boat cruise at sunset because at least then there’s something else to see. & the sunset is very pretty.

Excellent experience since booking till actual safari.
I have been communicating with Lennox for last 2 years. He is very prompt, helpful, reliable. There is no hidden cost. Facilities provided are beyond our expectations.
We have visited lake naibhasa and Masai Mara. I would recommend everyone to book through axis Africa safaris
