I love it so much I can't express it in words.
One of the most important parts of traveling is who you share the journey with. Whether by design or by coincidence, I was fortunate to be with people of similar age and from similar regions. Even though I came alone, I quickly became close with new friends, and that truly made my trip even happier.
The accommodation I stayed in was also very clean, and there was always plenty of hot water. Throughout this journey, everyone I met — including the agency staff, my guide Tribon, and the hotel staff — could not have been more kind and helpful.
For all of these reasons, I want to express my gratitude to every friend I met along the way.

Very fulfilling experience
We had an amazing time, thanks to Axis Safari and Solomon, our exceptional guide. He was always available to lend a hand when needed. Communication was seamless, with everything clearly explained in advance. Solomon's knowledge and behaviour were superb, showcasing his deep understanding of animal movements and their nature. We spotted the big five with two hunts which is quite rare. I'd highly recommend him to anyone – you can't go wrong!

Highly recommend: organized and very communicative
We reached out to Axis a day before our tour was scheduled to start with another operator. Our original operator was highly suspect (e.g., no confirmed bookings, poor communication). With this tight turnaround, Axis organized a fantastic 6-day tour from Maasai Mara to Lake Navaisha to Samburu. Tabitha was very helpful and always kept us abreast of confirmations and bookings!
Our guide, Mohamed, was the true star of Axis. He was friendly, proactive, funny and taught us quite a bit about both the animals we saw and the Kenyan people/customs. To top it off, he went out of his way to help us capture the best photographs with our massive cameras: he either positioned the jeep in a specific angle or looked for animals that he knew photographed really well. See some of the pics below! It was invaluable to learn from him and discuss all sorts of amazing topics over the course of the 6 days. If you get the chance, ask for him!

First and best Safari for us!
We had a fantastic first safari experience! We were lucky to see so many animals, but what truly made the difference was our guide, Joshua. He is simply the best. Having a great guide is very important on a safari, and we specifically asked for Joshua because a friend recommended him after their own trip earlier this year. Everything perfect
The safari at Masai Mara with Axis was absolutely unforgettable! Our guides were knowledgeable and passionate, the vehicles comfortable, and the views breathtaking. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, and many other animals in their natural habitat, all safely. Unforgettable Safari experience
Axis Safari made our Kenya trip unforgettable! The tour organiser Philip's expert planning and guidance ensured a seamless experience.
Our guide Collin was phenomenal - his years of experience and expertise in animal behavior made the game drives thrilling. We got up close to elephant herds, witnessed a cheetah's hunt, and spotted plenty of lions. Collin tailored the trip to our needs, making sure we saw all the animals on our list. Our 5-year-old's eyes lit up with wonder, and now he's returning home with lifelong memories. An unforgettable tryst with the wild
We went on a private safari for a group of 4 people covering Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara and I only have good things to say.
Starting off with the communications and coordination, it was prompt and hassle free. Tabitha patiently answered our numerous queries and handled everything smoothly for us.
Now to the guide, who is inarguably the most important person in a safari - Apidi brought all his 16 years of experience into the game, expertly assessing the situations to provide us the rarest sightings, patiently explaining the various details and nuances of wildlife. Always open to answering questions, extremely punctual and most importantly respecting the nature, mindful of the right thing to do, not disrupting privacy of the animals even when hoards of guides choose to go the other way.
