Amazing safari experience, great organisation & the best guide :)
5/5

The Axis Team was very professional and reliable in both communication and organisation of the safari tour. Especially our guide, Kikitu, was the best guide I could have ever wished for! Not only is he an excellent driver, but also an impressively knowledgeable, spirited and inspiring teacher about wild life and the Masai people and overall a very friendly and funny company! Thank you, Kikitu, for offering us this amazing experience, it was definitely worth it :)

Amazing and well organized Tour with a fantastic Guide
5/5

This was an amazing experience, we took a 4 day tour and visited 3 national parks.
Organisation was great from pickup at the airport until drop off at the same place. The Car was very comfortable also for long rides, I didn't expect that from an off-road vehicle of that size.
Selection of lodges was great, they have been nice and clean.
The greatest part was our driver (Jack), he made it an unique experience as he knows just everything and every place.
He made it possible to see very rare things, like Cheetahs hunting down an Antilope.
Thank you vor this experience, we will come back!

Amazing Safari experience, perfectly smooth organization
5/5

First things first: we had the best time on our safari.

I contacted Axis per mail about 3 weeks before our arrival in Kenya, asking for an offer for a 4 days/3 nights safari starting in Nairobi and finishing in Mombasa/Diani beach. Lennox came back to me with an offer and itinerary with a selection of accommodations for us to choose from - 1.350 USD per person, for the two of us incl. all accommodations, meals, park entry fees, our driver/guide, water. We chose our preferred accomodations, paid a 200 USD deposit. Lennox was super friendly and very quick in answering all our remaining questions, then we travelled to Kenya.

Our driver/guide Khalifa was perfectly on time to pick us up from our hotel in Nairobi, we briefly checked in at the Axis office in Nairobi CBD to meet Cynthia and complete the rest of the formalities/pay the remaining amount we had agreed on. Then, off we went. After a couple hours drive we arrived at Sopa Lodge near Amboseli National Park, checked in and headed to the National Park for amazing afternoon - horses of elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, lions, a breathaking sunset.. what an experience. Tired and happy we got back to the Lodge, ate, slept and headed out for another game drive early before breakfast. Elephants passing in the rising sun in front of the Kilimanjaro was quite something, again. After breakfast at Sopa Lodge we departed the Amboseli area for Tsavo West.

After a few hours of driving through the most beautiful landscapes we arrived at Severin Safari Camp, our favorite accomodation of the trip - room, food, atmosphere was all over the top. We checked in and headed out for another game drive incl. a visit of Mzima springs. We saw elephants, zebras, numerous different gazelles, lions, a crocodile, and more. The next day saw the most spectacular drive - we drove from Tsavo West to Tsavo East through very diverse and most beautiful landscapes, seeing all kinds of flora and fauna, absolutely amazing, before arriving at Ashnil Aruba Lodge in the early afternoon.

Khalifa, who had been the most amazing driver/guide/wildlife spotter the whole time, offered us another game drive later in the afternoon but we were so full of impressions that we decided to rest for the remaining day. After a good night’s sleep we departed Tsavo East after breakfast, again seeing a couple of elephants, giraffes and zebras on our way out of the National Park. Heading into Mombasa, Khalifa showed us around the city - his hometown - and instead of taking the fastest way, we got the great experience of crossing from the Northern to the Southern part of the city by ferry, before it was time to say goodbye when Khalifa - the best guy, really - dropped us off at our hotel at Diani beach.

Long story short: an 11/10 experience. Amazing safari, perfectly smooth organization, the very best time. Most highly recommended!

PS: The only thing we would slightly adapt if we did it again - you might want to squeeze in a “rest day”/an extra night at Severin Safari Camp. This lodge was absolutely perfect and we would have loved to stay there for a day and be able to indulge the facilities there for a little longer. Aside from that - we wouldn’t change a thing.

Big shoutout to our guide Kevin! He made our tour to Masai Mara unforgettable. He made sure everyone had a great time and was an amazing guide with a lot of knowledge. Otherwise we thought the communication, transport and accommodation was great. Absolutely value for the money!

Outstanding
5/5

Everything about this tour was fantastic. Communication prior to the tour was ridiculously fast at all hours of the day. During the tour we had the amazing Kevin as our guide who took great care of us and helped us get the best views. He even showed us a cheetah hunt! We stayed in Sankale camp which was comfortable with hot water and some electricity plus really good hospitality. The optional Masai tour was a bit of a miss for me and a bit overly touristic/souvenir focused. But overall I had a top notch experience and highly recommend!

Charles is kind, knowledgeable, and a must have driver for your safari!
5/5

Since the beginning of the trip it was a bit overwhelming as this was my first safari in Africa. Then our driver charles introduced himself. He was the expert in these safaris. He navigated us everywhere we needed to go. We saw the big five during our safari when others safaris did not see i spoke to did not. Charles was a big part of that.
