Easy to communicate with and very reliable

Everything went as expected; the guide was the big difference.
The safari in the Masai Mara was very enjoyable. The tour agency was very professional, delivering everything that was agreed upon. The schedules were met, the car was comfortable and safe, and the accommodations provided a good rest. The main highlight of the tour was the guide, Jack. He is extremely professional and exceeded expectations, making the trip even more special.

My family and I were five people who were picked up in a big Land Cruiser at our accommodations and drove us to the Mara Fig Tree Camp in the early afternoon. During our stay here, our driver Peter Ngigi took us on an evening and full day Animal drive across the Masai Mara. He endusured we had wonderful trips both times. Well organised with timing, car and refreshments, but most importantly by being exceptionately friendly and likeable, while also being a fountain of information on the many many animals we saw and answering all our questions. I praise his work highly.

Great tour leader
We were going on a three day safari from Fig Tree lodge with Peter Ngigi as driver and tourleader. Peter drove the big Landcruiset with excellent skills and managed to give us fantastic experiences and the possibility of taking really great pictures. Peter is a really nice guy and his knowledge of Masai Mara and the animal life there lifted the safari to a High and satisfying level. I can only give Peter my absolute best recommandations.

Excellent!
In January 2026, we went on a safari tour with Axis Africa Safaris. We spent a lot of time choosing the tour based on the price/quality ratio. We didn't regret our choice. We enjoyed everything about the tour: the organization, the vehicle, the food, and the guide's attention to detail. We can definitely say that Peter Kapino is the best driver and guide. He was very attentive to all our requests, never rushed us, and always shared important information.
