Jack, the safari-meister, exceeded all of my family’s expectations.
Thank you Axis Africa Safaris for the 6 Day “It’s a Wild World out There” tour. From our safari guide-meister Jack to Chef Daisy, you have an amazing team. The African people were so patient, kind, and courteous to all 7 of our family members.
Jack, our safari guide-meister for the week, went above and beyond to show us the animals living at Lake Naivasha, Cresent Island, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara. Oh, and I highly recommend the sunrise hot air balloon ride and the champagne breakfast out on the reserve.

Fantastic experience!
We did the 5 day Masai Mara - Nakuru - Naivasha private tour. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it.
It was very smooth booking through Axis, they came to meet us at our hotel in the morning to pick us up for the start of the tour.
Our friendly guide Johny was very knowledgable and went above and beyond to ensure we saw the best of Kenya’s wildlife, which included all of the big 5.
He also did an incredible amount of driving which was much appreciated.
We stayed at three different hotels, the first and last were fantastic and provided great rooms and food, although the middle one in Nakuru food and facilities were not quite as good.
We had a boat trip in Naivasha across the Lake which was brilliant to see all the wildlife as well as visiting a Masai village just outside the Mara which was a great experience.
We also paid ($30USD) extra to go on a guided cycle through Hells Gate park in Naivasha which involves cycling amongst buffalo, zebra, giraffes, impala and warthogs - this was an amazing experience to be up so close to the animals.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this tour. Everyone we met along the way ensured we had the greatest experience and would always go the extra mile to ensure we had the best time.

Very Good
Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris organised an excellent 3 day Masai Mara Safari. Alex (fondly called Papa Alex by our group) is a superb guide. Always smiling always cheerful. We had an excellent game drive, even after sighting the big four he didn't slow down but drove round the park to show as as much as possible.
The Lenchada Tourist Camp where we stayed was also very clean and the food was quite good. If only they could provide us wifi it would have been superb.

Best experience
If you love animals and would like to see them in their natural habitat, then do this Safari.
Five days safari - Masai Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha. Masai Mara is the absolute best do do when in Kenya. The safari was amazing, we saw all the animals we wanted to see very close. Our driver, Kalifa, was the best. He cared deeply about the animals and the people, giving us tones of stories that happened to him.
To be honest after reading some comments, we were a bit afraid about the hotels and the food we would have during the safari, but it was actually very good.
I highly recommend this Safari and ask for Kalifa if you want to have the best experience.

They were accommodating, entertaining, and knowledgeable.
I am living in Malawi and my girlfriend is in Chicago. She had never been to Africa before, so for her 29th birthday we decided to meet up in Kenya for the Masai Mara safari experience (rated number 1). We had high expectations coming in, but they were blown through the roof with Axis Africa Safari tours. I had communicated with Lennox weeks before to prepare a surprise birthday celebration for her. He was absolutely willing and very happy to help out and even suggest some ideas of what to do. I couldn't be more thankful as he had a cake made just for her as well as a bouquet of flowers and they had me surprise her with everyone else around in the evening following dinner. It made the trip even better. That being said, the guides we had were very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our needs and wants. We managed to see everything except the rhino, but more reason to come back. I'd highly recommend booking a tour with Axis Africa as their bundle packages are very thorough, fulfilling and definitely won't break the bank.
Cheers to next time!

Wonderful!
I asked for a quote from this provider because they had excellent reviews. Communication from the beginning was fast, accurate and professional. It was easy to get in touch and people were advisable for my questions and updates. The safari experience was excellent. Our guide, Jack, was very knowledgeable and nice to be around. The park sights were precious. Our car worked well every day. The places we slept on were okey for a budget safari and food was abundant and tasty. We always felt safe with Jack and we had a great time. Highly recommend!

Very satisfied with the safari on all locations, guides were very experienced and skilled
Everything was well organised in the Safari and both our drivers-guides were experienced and gave every effort to spot as many animals as possible. More or less the program was kept as originally agreed. Completely satisfied by the tour operator.

Very prompt and helpful
Booking was easy. I could not transfer the advance amount due to technical reasons. They were accommodative. The driver cum guide was excellent, knew the national reserve well, was well mannered. Accommodation was great, for the money spent. Overall, it was a great experience.

Great experience, excellent guide, saw all the animals
The 3-day safari to Masai Mara was great and excellent value for money as well. Our driver and guide Johnny made the difference as he went out of his way to track animals, and he FOUND them. I've been on many safaris, but never saw leopards. Johnny found a leopard, a rare rhino, many lions, and all the other animals you hope to see.
The tented camp provided a more authentic experience than staying at some luxury lodge. Good food, camp fire, highly recommmended.

Excellent tour with good organization and a really good driver (James!)
We were a group of 7 people on a 4-day safari trip to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. We had an instant connection with each other, so these few days were lots of fun. Our driver James was absolutely brilliant. He teached us everything about the animals, as well as the flora and fauna. Also a very funny guy to hang around with :-)
So all in all a great trip, with great people and a lot of memories!
