I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a 3-day safari to the Maasai Mara, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Francis, was exceptional from the moment we were picked up to the last goodbye. His expertise and deep knowledge of the Mara's wildlife and terrain truly made the trip stand out.
From the first day, Francis ensured we were well taken care of, offering insights into the local Maasai culture and traditions, which added a layer of depth to the journey. His familiarity with the land meant we were always in the right spots at the right time to witness incredible wildlife moments. The Big Five? We saw them all, and more! Francis’ keen eyes and patience led us to witness a cheetah on a hunt, a pride of lions lounging under the sun, and a herd of wildebeest preparing to cross the Maasai river.
What truly impressed me was Francis’ passion for conservation. He was very respectful of the animals and their space, ensuring our safari was not only thrilling but also ethical. He took time to answer all our questions and share stories that made the entire experience richer.
Our budgeted tent accommodation was comfortable. The meals were ok, and each day felt perfectly paced with game drives, relaxation, and sundowners. But it was Francis who truly elevated the experience. His warm personality, professionalism, and dedication made us feel like we were in safe, knowledgeable hands.
If you're considering a Maasai Mara safari, I highly recommend this tour and especially the guiding services of Francis.

Incredible safari with the BEST guides!!!
Wow! What an amazing experience! Axis Safari was a great tour operator with excellent communication over Whatsapp. Everything was well organized and professional. But, I have to recognize our amazing guide Roger and his intern Wyclef! They are excellent guides!!! It makes such a difference when you have a good guide. We saw other tourists who were NOT able to see animals in Mara. Thankfully we had experienced guides who knew all the tricks so we ALL of the BIG 5! Thank you again.

Amazing experience!
My friend and I joined 7 days camp group safari using Landcruiser. We have never had such a wonderful experience as ever!! I do suggest you to go three places; Maasaimara, lake nakuru, Amboseli!
We stayed camp in Maasaimara and Amboseli. We saw lots of animals at Maasai mara and saw an amazing sunset with several animals at first day already. Second day at Maasai Mara, we luckily saw cheetah was eating animal in morning and lion ate buffalo at daytime! We could see lions and cheetahs very closely!!!! On third day we went to Lake Nakuru, saw flamingo and rhinos mostly. On fourth day, we headed to Naivasha and did a walking with animal plan which was extra cost but strong recommendation! We could see zebra, impala, giraffe and take lots of pictures with them very closely! On fifth day, we did bicycling at Naivasha which was extra cost but strong recommendation too!!! You can see zebra and giraffe during taking a bicycle and huge rocks which was amazing!!!! Afterwards we went to the place was set of lion king. You need to take a rough road but over 60 ages walked together so would be no problem. On sixth day, we did Amboseli fully game. We saw lots of elephants there. On last day we had morning game and saw beautiful Kilimanjaro with animals!!! For 7days the driver Mr. Solomon who worked safari for over 15 years took us all places and showed us animals very closely!!! He always gave us a good position to take a picture of animals. Very professional and kind person. We were lucky that he was our driver!
Also I would like to inform you that Manjaro camp in Amboseli was super nice, spacious, clean, and people are so kind and nice!!! We could use 24 hours electricity and had a hot shower. Also we could see Kilimanjaro clearly too. If you can choose the accommodation place, I strongly recommend you to stay there!!!
We met some tour participants and local residents said Axis is nice company for Safari. We didn’t search Safari your company but believe this was wise choice:)
Everything was well planned from start to finish. I felt safe all the time.
We saw all the animals I wanted in one day: a panther, a lion, a cheetah, elephants, a rhino and hippos. We saw all the animals from a very close distance, which was ensured by our great guide Jack. He has a lot of knowledge and is very polite.

Exciting
The experience has been incredible. We are leaving very happy and satisfied. Thanks to our driver Steve who was always attentive so we could see all the animals. I 100% recommend this safari and if it is with Steve even better.

Unique experience
Enjoyable & streamline experience with Axis Safari. Jack, our guide/driver, was the perfect fit to explore the Masai Mara park. We managed to spot the entire wildlife living in the park (Lions, cheetahs, elephants) and really appreciate the safari. 5⭐️

One in a lifetime experience
Our experience with Axis was exceptional from start to finish. We had been in touch with Monica well in advance of our trip to Kenya, and she was incredibly helpful in addressing all of our questions and concerns. She was also flexible and accommodating when we had to adjust our dates due to unforeseen circumstances. During our safari, we were guided by Roy, whose extensive knowledge of the animals and parks we visited made the experience unforgettable. His positive attitude and dedication ensured we had fantastic opportunities to view wildlife, resulting in amazing photos we’ll look back at for a lifetime. Organized, super helpful and answered all of my questions.
We had a great time on our 6 day safari, our guide Leroy was amazing and got us up close to so many animals! We were able to see a lot during the tour as he knew exactly where to take us to see the wildlife. He was super knowledgeable about all the animals and told us a lot of information about the local way of life, we learned so much. The accommodation was still very nice despite being budget and we had hot water and comfy beds in every location. Our organizer Monica was also incredible and helped us with any questions, even walking us through the Visa process which was amazing! Not only that, we were upgraded for no extra cost for our last night which just shows the extra mile they go for the customers. I highly recommend booking with Axis, the tour was great value and I can’t wait to return to Kenya!
