Reliable and helpful person, he drives well and we manage to arrive place on time.
In general the trip is good. We see many animals and went to the three parks that we booked. Hotel rooms are all booked correctly, there is no bad situation happen to us.
The only thing might be a bit annoying is, as we are a small group, we swapped the travelling buddies twice and due to that, I feel we might waste some time on the way. It is understandable that other companies do this as well. It is just a matter of expectations.
James is our guide, he is a good one, we followed the schedule mostly on time and we saw a lot of animals.
We did not manage to go Masai village or Naivasha lake, as we have tight schedule on the travelling.
Thanks a lot to Axis Africa for the amazing trip. Really appreciate it.

Peter Kapino is very friendly, uncomplicated and pragmatic. Knows a lot about culture and animals.
We spent 3 days with Peter Kapino and enjoyed all the moments. I always felt safe and comfortable with him, on the roads and in the park with all the wild animals. He made sure we'd see as many different animals as possible. He would often tell us facts about the animals or culture which was very interesting. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently did a 3-day safari to Masai Mara with Axis Africa Expedition & Safaris and had an outstanding experience from start to finish.
Our guide, Peter Kapino, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate—he gave us detailed insights into animal behaviors, habitats, and the ecosystem, making every game drive meaningful. The safari vehicle was in excellent condition and very comfortable throughout the journey. One of the highlights was visiting a Masai village, where we learned about their culture, traditions, and way of life, which added a rich cultural dimension to the trip. Everything was well-organized, and the team made sure we felt safe, informed, and truly immersed in the beauty of the Mara. Highly recommended!

Excellent Tour of Masai Mara
We went on a safari of Masai Mara through Axis Tours. Our tour guide Peter Kapino was exceptional. He picked us up on time. Catered to all our needs. He has exceptional knowledge of the park and it's animals. We were able to spot almost all of the big 5 and many others within one and a half days. It was the best safari I have been on. The camps were also excellent and it was a very good value for money.

We did a 5 days tour with axis africa visiting masai mara, lake naivasha and lake nakuru.
First of all let me start with our tour organizer agent named Monica , she was the best and I feel we are lucky that she was assigned to us from the start of programming the safari to the end of trip she was superb, she was responsive whenever I contacted her and she tried to cater our every need and she even helped me book train tickets to our next destination. Thankyou dearest Monica and axis africa for an unforgettable trip.
Our guide Johnny was also great and he tried his best for us to see all big five. He was very respectful and an excellent driver.

Exceptional
We went on the 5days masai mara,lake nakuru and lake naivasha.
Monica organized the tour and was always checking on us and making sure we are not facing any troubles
Our guide John was super nice and he tried so hard so we get a chance to see all big 5. He told us alot of things about animals and was always respectfull.
We enjoyed our safari alot.thanks axis africa for an unforgetable trip

We had a 2 night 3 day tour with Axis Africa Safari. The tour was pleasant, no problem anywhere in between. The food was good, accommodation - sankale camp was good, the toyota landcruise was good too. What i would like to mention specifically would be Charles our guide and driver from Nairobi and back.
Charles loves what he does, so he goes an extra mile during the safari. It feels like he is as excited as us to see those animals. He knows everything about the animals and he explains everything all too well. If you have charles by your side driving and guiding I am sure you will have an wonderful trip. You donot need to worry about anything.
