Very attentive and kind.
My wife and I had the pleasure to be guided by Richard. The experience was by far the most incredible experience we both have had. We were extremely lucky to see so man animals, including the 'Big 5'. In addition, Richard our guide was very kind and he took us to the most amazing places in Tanzania. We are very pleased with the tour and we would love to come back soon.

We had an absolutely marvellous time with Richard as our guide
We had a meeting in person with Richard the day before our safari started which greatly facilitated communication and setting expectations. The safari proceeded without any problems and exceeded all our expectations

Excellent Safari
We were very satisfied with the service. We were shown a piece of wild Africa that we dreamed about. The conditions were exceptional, every lodge offered great accommodation.
We had an opportunity to see every animal from the great five.
We strongly recommend this tour operator.

A wonderful Safari through several National Parks in Northern Tanzania
My friend and I made a 24 day Safari through several National Parks in Northern Tanzania organized by Mali Kale Africa Safari's. We visited Aursha NP, Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara, Serengeti South - Central - North, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi, Mkomazi NP, Saadani NP and finally Pangani for leisure. The tour was very well organized and the tour operator very helpful concerning some special issues e.g. to organize and follow up the procedure of a Covid-19 test which was necessary prior to the departure of my friend. Our manifold interest were completely satisfied, which means not only the observation of animals like large mammals but also birdwatching, and enjoyment of the phantastical landscapes with dramatic cloud formations due to the beginning of the small rain season but also experiences of local life by visiting markets or local bars/ restaurants. A visit of the Hadzabe Bushmen and the Datoga Tribe around Lake Eyasi gave us completely different experiences as well as the visit of breeding projects of African wild dogs and black rhino in Mkomazi. Our wish not to be in lodges with overboarding luxury was completely fulfilled with the accomodations chosen by Mali Kale and completed our experience to be in the wildernes without missing a shower with hot water. The staff of all the lodges was very friendly and helpful and made us feel home and wellcome. Everywhere the meals included plenty of diverse food which was very tasty. Due to the Corona pandemie we met not many other travellers and were sometimes lthe only guests in the lodges. As Tanzania is not much affected by Corona it was never necessary to wear face masks - most of the times we were outdoors, in well aerated rooms or in a landcruiser with open roof. We were guided by a very well experienced and reliable driver guide with whom we have been already on tour on 2 previous Tanzania trips.
The accomodations chosen were: Tulia Hotel & Spa in Arusha, Maramboi Tented Lodge near Tarangire, Ndutu Safari Lodge near Serengeti South, Kati Kati Tented Camp in Central Serengeti, Lobo Lodge in Serengeti North, Rhino Lodge at Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge, Babu's Camp in Mkomazi, Saadan Safari Lodge in Saadani NP and Emayani Beach Lodge in Pangani. The bandas of the latter might not be appropriate for someone who is too afraid of creepy-crawlies, but beds were well equipped with mosquito nets. We were completely satisfied and happy having made this tour in these difficult times, which was certainly due to the perfect organization. We have no complaints concerning the communication with the tour operator Mali Kale in advance and during the tour and all our expectations became fulfilled.

Exceeded all expectations for a bucket list trip
From the start, the process to book was seamless and quick. Richard was very communicative and accommodating, and laid out a suggested itinerary as well as some options for us to personalize it to our own taste. Booking, payment, and planning were all extremely professional and by the time we put our down payment down, we had no concerns whatsoever about our itinerary or anything else.
The safari itself left us speechless. We came in with high expectations but some of our lodges completely blew us out of the water (especially the "Serena" lodges). On our 8-day safari we saw at least one of every animal, and in come cases we saw tens (lions, hyenas) or hundreds (elephants, buffalo, etc). Our driver was fantastic and took us wherever we wanted to go, got us in positions for incredible photos, and got us up close and personal with many elephants and big cats. We even got to see the elusive Black Rhino!
By the end of the trip, 4 of our friends back home were bugging us for our exact itinerary and Richard's information. We happily gave it to them and we highly recommend Richard for any type of safari you're looking for.

Professional operator and kind staff members
Mali Kale Africa Safaris - operator was the perfect pic for us, as they took very good care of me and my family before, during and after our safari. The communication was easy and mutual, and never did we wait long for replies. Even though our flight was very delayed Mali Kale's staff members waited for us at the airport with big smiles. None of our requests seemed to be a problem. Alfred was the best driver, he had lots of knowledge that he was kind enough to share with us and he took everyone's interest in consideration. The safari was everything we had hoped it would be and more.

Incredible Service and Sights - Saw all animals - highly recommended
Our guide Alfred was extremely polite, fun and knowledgeable. He had great character and spotted so many animals for us - we saw almost all creatures up close. Robert, when booking our accommodations, recommended great hotels and the price was very reasonable. We had an amazing time.
