Adaptable Safari Operator (arranged a Tanzanian Safari)
I had a connection with Wilson Bisaso of Saso Uganda Safaris from 10 years ago, and I arranged a trip to Tanzania with him and Saso. Wilson and the folks in the Office were very patient with me as we worked through various versions of the itinerary.
I am a passionate wildlife photographer and Saso works with Zara Safaris in Tanzania. My guide, Eliud, was absolutely amazing! I spent two full days in the Ngorongoro Crater, six in the Serengeti and a brief visit to Lake Manyara. Eliud was fantastic in every way! He was very adaptable and willing to accommodate my desire for long days out in the vehicle. He also had an amazing eye for spotting, and communicated well with other guides on the CB radio in order to ensure the best sightings. He positioned the vehicle beautifully, and made sure I was in a great place to photograph the animals. I saw the big five, and had multiple sightings of all three big cats, including mothers with babies. Eliud was kind, caring, considerate and very, very fun to be with! I taught him some British slang and he taught me some Swahili. I cannot recommend Eliud enough! Thank you to Wilson and Saso for making this trip possible.

An honest tour group
Circumstances required that I cancel my tour and, even during a pandemic, Saso lived up to their word and gave me a refund. Organizations like this deserve business and when I can travel again, I will be using their services.

Trip to remember for life
We would love to thank Saso Uganda Safaris as we had a great safari experience, on a high professional level. Wilson is always nice and ready to satisfy your desires. Very important: the email communication was fast and he gets always back to you shortly. Dona was the perfect guide, always on time, with an high level of experience, the jeep was big enough to move, standing up and taking pictures, and all lodges and hotels we slept in were cozy and fascinating. I highly recommend saso for your next Ugandan tour.

9 Days in Uganda with James
We were planning our safari from home, without any connections in Uganda. We decided to choose Saso uganda due to great reviews, good communication with Wilson and fair price. It was a great choice!
Since the very beginning Wilson's feedback was extremely quick. Never had to wait more than day for response.
The Safari itself was perfectly organized and our guide James who is highly skilled and helpful on the 9 days safari in Uganda. We saw plenty of animals and had one of the best trips in our lives.

Amazing travel experience!!
Saso Uganda safaris offers a great service. I was traveling with a colleague after working for a few days in Kampala and we had a great time. Our driver Dona went above and beyond in the game drives to make sure we could see all the animals. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The food in the campsite was really good and all the people are willing to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for helping me have great memories during my time in the Queen Elizabeth national park

Family holiday with Saso
Thanks to Saso uganda safari who organised our vacation perfectly especially Wilson who was in touch gave updates reminders. Our vacation was the best from booking our flights pickup to and from airport. The hotel stay they promised exceeded our expectations especially the Bush lodge in queen elizabeth national park. 4 day Safari was excellent
It was a trip of a lifetime! We would like to thank Wilson from Saso for arranging our amazing itinerary. Also, we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Michael for the safari part of this trip. He was knowledgeable about the animals and a very cool guy. Michael made the long and bumpy ride entertaining for everyone and lighten the mood when it was very hot and dusty. We will definitely recommend them to family and friends here in Singapore. Saso Uganda safaris is the very best option for travelling in Uganda
After two years of persuasion and then planning for an eight-day safari in October, 3 curious American friends were greatly enriched by their time with Saso team in Uganda. Lavish lodges cannot match the magical experience offered by Saso Safaris. The breadth of knowledge and passion about every aspect of the bush challenged the intellect of the group, particularly the keen birders; we also had unique opportunities to enjoy the animals and nature in relative solitude; and we were entertained over many wonderful meals.
This is the very best way to see Uganda with highlight sightings being the Gorillas, Chimpanzee and Lions.

Solid Game drives
The pick-up for the Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park was on time, and for the next over three hours we drove every nook and cranny in the park in our jeep in search of animals, and found quite many.
You don’t get large numbers of animals, but you get up close to elephants, Hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, Lions!

Wonderful trip with Kassim
We had a fantastic day with guide Kassim. We had enough opportunities to enjoy the beautiful nature of Lake Mburo National Park. When there was something interesting to see, Kassim took the time for us and answered all the questions, he was a great guide. Well done!
