It is tough to choose between so many tour operators and eventually, you need to trust your guts before you book one of them. Being a vegetarian they took good care of my needs when it came to food. The accommodation was simply decent. Our guide Jumma made sure we see all the big, ugly and small five. Due to his patience, we also got to see a hunt and it was once in a lifetime experience. Was really treated like a friend which is beyond expectation and as a solo traveller, I feel at home at Hekima House with the team - Elieza and Jackson - and other travellers. Our driver as well as guide is also super experienced - can spot the leopard far far far away in the bush - and always focus on details and every person's need. Our chef and assistant are also very sweet and make delicious food for us. It's overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended! GoHekima!

Excellent safari organised with smooth proficiency, meeting and exceeding our expectations
Hekima Safaris East Africa were excellent from the start, with good clear communication. We were able to amend the proposed itinerary to suite our requirements with ease.
The service provided was excellent with everything going to plan, with all transfers running smoothly. The vehicles and driver, guide were as described and a great way to explore for the two of us with lots of space for animal viewing, being able to move easily about the vehicle and with chargers for keeping batteries charged, and coolers for cold drinks. The game viewing was exceptional. We saw all we had hoped for and more.
A vehicle breakdown was dealt with little disruption following a temporary repair, with a replacement vehicle arriving quickly to prevent any disruption to our tour (very fast longistic)
As well as excellent safari viewing a surprising highlight was the cultural visit to the HadzabeBush People and Datoga Tribe at Lake Eyasi.
All of the hotels and tented lodges recommended and chosen were superb, in great locations and with excellent service STRONG RECOMMENDATION

My partner and I went on a safari with Hekima Safaris (with Fred as a guide) in September 2021.
This experience was really great.
We thank Hekima and Fred for listening to us and allowing us to have a safari that lived up to our expectations.
We did Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro in 4 days, the tour I had hoped for.
Fred has been so kind to us. He helped us in all our procedures on the spot, and thanks to his patience and his reactivity we were able to see rhinos and leopards which are rather rare.
