Amazing Trip
We had an amazing trip with African Wildcats Expeditions! We've seen all the big Nationalparks in Tanzania and camped inside the parks. John, our tour guide, had a big knowledge of the animals and the rest of the nature. We felt safe at all times, also when buffalos and hyenas were next to our tent. Our cook was absolutely amazing (ask for Anold). The whole organization prior the tour as well as during the tour was great. I would definitely recommend this tour operator to everybody!
Participate in the life of Masai and Hadzabe, see wildlife, feel the dry heat, listen lions at night
You get what you want, a safari long!
Perfect meals, also adapted to your need. Just as the activity program.
Walking activities in between of park visits.
Having a glance behind african frontdoors.

The trip of a lifetime!
We spent a week with Jacob of African Wildcats, and it was the most amazing trip of my life.
Jacob is kind, caring and very accommodating, and he knows his wildlife like no other, he can also spot a mosquito sitting on the rump of a rhino from 2 miles away.
The vehicle was comfortable with the 5 of us (+ Jacob), and also had the means to charge all of our electronic equipment on board, great for those of us going through camera batteries.
I would highly recommend African Wildcats!
Can't wait to do it again!
Fabulous trip. Way above our expectations.
Yes, they were wonderful in all aspects. The food was excellent and seeing all the different species was exceptional.

Tanzanian wildlife Safari with a super friendly and experienced guide
Our dream was to visit Tanzania and see as much animals as possible, for us it was not only the big 5....we wanted to see reptiles, small mammals, as muh as possible.
John was a perfect guide and helped us finding those small ones aswell.
We were very happy with the information John could give us, as we are both animal people (i am a zookeeper) we know more about the animals found than others might. The tent and places we went for the night were good and the food we had during the safari was really special and absolutely great!
This was the best experience we could have had in Tanzania, we loved it.

Amazing Time in Tanzania
This was the trip of a lifetime to Tanzania. African Wildcats (Jacob) took us to 5 amazing parks where we got to see every kind of wildlife; much more than we ever dreamed we'd see. Jacob takes pride in presenting his country and the people. The food was delicious and plentiful, the camps well set up, and our game drives over the top! We also enjoyed all of the cultural "people-to-people" experiences. We are so happy we were referred to African Wildcats for this experience.

Exiting safari tour in North Tanzania and Kilimanjaro expedition
African Wildcats organized for a group of nine people a Kilimanjaro Expedition and a safari tour. Both were well organized. The Kilimanjaro expedition was escorted with a professional and very friendly group of Tanzanian guides and porters. Good food, shelter and medical supervision.
With the safari tour we visited four national parks; Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was an amazing experience. We saw many big animals and birds. The guides leaded us to the right spots, were enthusiastic and could tell a lot of as well the nature as the culture of Tanzania. They selected for us very good lodges. Among them the Kiboko lodge which is part of a social project and runned by formerly homeless kids.

A holiday to be cherised
In the summer of 2016 we made in a trip to Northern Tanzania and Zanzibar. In the months before the trip we were able to organize the trip together with their staff exactly to our, rather specific, wishes. That was allready part of the fun. They did an excellent job and managed to find the location of a farm my wife's father started around 1955. They visited the place (at a really remote location!) to check it out before we arrived and made it possible for us to visit that place and meet the new owners who showed us around. This was very special for us but the rest of the trip was equally well-organised. We camped in Arusha NP (the best start possible, walking safari's, wonderfull scenery at the campsite and very relaxed), near Monduli, Tarangire NP, tribes near Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Our driver drove very safely and had a tremendous knowledge of wildlife. We as biologists must have challenged him really though but we were completely satisfied. And he was a really nice person as a company which is also very important if you are so close together in a car for weeks. He became a lifetime friend. The cook also was very important for the trip. We were always very hungry before the meals and satisfied smiling afterwards. He certainly deserves a Michelin star for his avocado salad if we may only mention one dish. Real Tanzanian delicious food. And superfresh, we had no problems with our stomachs or other inconveniences. We saw far too much wildlife to mention it here, but a group of elephants chasing away more than a dozen lions, the crossing of the river Mara by wildebeasts and zebras and the animals walking around the campsites during breakfast were certainly experiences we'll remember the rest of our lives.
After the safari we stayed on Zanzibar. Relaxing at the beach and visiting Stonetown and Chumbe island.
We highly recommend African Wildcats to organise your safari. We think you won't be disappointed.

A good guide makes a great difference!
We, a family of 4 with two kids of 6 and 8 years, did a two weeks holiday with the african wildcats. It was absolutely the best safari we have ever done! Jacob, the guide, made this difference cause of his experience and knowledge of the wildlife and its behaviour. Thanks to him we saw a live kill by a cheetah, we saw two times leopards climbing out of the tree to start hunting, we saw the start of the wildebeest migrations and plenty of wildlife (serval cats, the complete big 5!, lions from very close).
The accommodations were perfect, but that can be organised by all tour operators. I learnt now that it is really the guide that makes or breaks your safari! Jacob is top, enthusiatic and very motivated to make your safari a once in a lifetime experience!
