Professionalism and Excellency!
WAW, the best travel experience we ever had! Tanzania and Zanzibar, fairytale and paradise in one country, amazing nature and great people, feeling of freedom and safety, wonderful accommodations and delicious food! A Dream of each world traveler!
We made a 16 days trip in May 2024, organized by Paradise & Wilderness (Beach & Safari), Tanzania, perfectly planned in all details.
Unforgettable 5 days Safari to the mainland Tanzania - Lake Manyara, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro krater. After each unique day, we have been warmly welcomed in very comfortable and cozy lodges, by people with a great hospitality and delicious food. The Land Cruiser was well maintained, clean and safe. During the Safari we have been accompanied by Mr. Abel Shana, very experienced and professional ranger. Because of his passion for and a great knowledge of nature, he was able to show us the Beaty of Tanzania. He took a great care and gave us the feeling of safety during the trip. Thank you, Abel, for this unforgettable experience.
Zanzibar, a Dream of the Paradise! Endless view to the turquoise Indian Ocean, beautiful white sands beaches, sea world, great people! The place to feel free and happy!
And then one of the best hotels we have ever been – Dream of Zanzibar, 5 stars hotel, provided with all comfort and luxury. Everything is perfectly designed, the ambiance is amazing, the hygiene and the service are high quality, the choice of music, food and cocktails is excellent.
Our special appreciation is going to Mrs. Melanie Holterman, Business Development Manager at Paradise & Wilderness (Beach & Safari). Thankful to her we could experience Tanzania and Zanzibar at the best possible way. Thank you, Melanie, for everything we did for us! We will never forget your kindness and professionalism.

Excellent service
Had 2 nights in Zanzibar and then an early flight to Selous.
From the very first moment we landed at the airstrip we were put onto 6 person jeeps and whisked off into the bush. Over the next four days we saw pretty much everything except big cats. The scenery was awesome.
Everything was well organised. Food was very acceptable and a decent variety.
Zanzibar itself was spectacular around the coasts but a lot of poverty in the towns. Food and drink at the Reef and Beach Resort were good. So sad to leave.
Nothing to do with Paradise and Wilderness but if you can avoid Kenya Airways I would.
Overall great holiday at a very good price.

Dream trip
A great combination of going on safari and then relaxing on Zanzibar. The safaris were fantastic, we saw a lot of animals because the guides were just great. The Reef & Beach Resort left nothing to be desired and we felt very comfortable there. Very friendly staff and a fantastic location.

Top organized, friendly, well thought nfotmed.
We have been well informed about all parts of the tour. On Safari we got many informations about nature like trees, animals, botanical details.
At our resort they had offers for trips by bus or boat, for sports and massages.

Way beyond our expectations!
Our dream come true trip started with the help of an absolutely amazing agent -
Mirene S Bishikwabo. She helped us to cater our trip to our needs and wishes.
It was 11 days Safari and 3 days of resort in Zanzibar.
Her meticulous preparation was put in absolutely perfect action.
We are in awe of how seamless our journey was from the beginning to the end.
It was a private Safari for a family of 3 adults.
Meeting our guide Joel Thobias was a blessing on its own. His heart, care for animals, knowledge of animal behaviour and his driving skills were absolutely outstanding. Our 11 day journey wouldn’t be the same without him.
Seeing the Big five wasn’t our priority, it was just part of our out of this world experience, but we’ve also seen and heard so many birds and insects, small mammals, we experienced the bush fires, the most remarkable sceneries.
I knew that we would be late for the famous wildebeest migration, but mentioned to Joel anyway and he brought us to the last few thousand still migrating…
Thank you Joel!
I don’t know how it is possible, but the people in all the lodges were so amazing!
In Lake Manyara, the lodge where we spent three nights we felt like we were a part of the family. It
Coming back to Serenity Ilona lodge was like coming to your long lost friends.
The Maasai Boma accommodations were absolutely amazing.
Food was plenty and fantastic!
The Reef and Beach resort in Zanzibar was great end to our trip.
We are still counting our blessings that we chose Paradise & Wilderness as our Safari company.
We will come back again soon!

Excellent knowledge guides who know what they’re talking about
We had an amazing time on the safari and walking and boat tour. All the guides were very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. How they spotted the wildlife while concentrating on driving was amazing. The first day was a bit long but the guide fitted in with our requests the following days to finish a bit earlier. He still went out of his way to make sure we found the lion.
The accommodation was a bit more basic than we were expected. As we arrived during a heavy storm and feeling tired all we wanted was a nice hot shower but unfortunately the water pump had broken and we had no water for 24 hours. Once the rain stopped and water fixed we were much more settled.
Overall a great experience
