Amazing safari trip followed by lovely days on Zanzibar
We had booked a 4-day safari in Selous Game Reserve followed by a holiday on Zanzibar at the Reef & Beach Resort. The safari was an extraordinary experience, sleeping in the middle of the wilderness, delicious food, very well-organized excursions with great guides, lots of great animals. The holiday on Zanzibar was lovely, the hotel complex was a bit overcrowded at times, which was noticeable when you sat by the pool. The staff were generally friendly, but we were unhappy with the cleaning staff, as they only cleaned the room if you left them a tip. On the days when we didn't leave a tip, our towels were taken away and not cleaned. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay at the Reef & Beach. We were also very happy with the food.

We had a wonderful time, because it was very good organized.
Everything was excellent. Our guide Domiyas was very friendly and caring for our wishes. Only thing that could improve is dinner at Africa Safari South Serengeti. It was okay, but could be much better.

Paradise and Wilderness, worked hard to ensure that my safari was world class, they succeeded.
From the first contact with this company, my sales associate (Iddy) was execellent. He tailored the safari to my dates and times, was extremely responsive to my (many many) questions. And even during the safari, he reached out several times to ensure that our groups experience was going smoothly.
When we arrived in Tanzania, our transfer was on time and comfortable. The first lodge we stayed at in Arusha was beautiful, and the staff was excellent in making us feel welcome.
Our guide (Domiyas) could not have been better, he was an invaluable resource in helping us understand the unique attributes of each park, the different wildlife we were seeing, and listened closely to us if we needed to stop for souvenir buying, or toilets, or ... really anything. Seriously, ask for Domiyas and you won't be disappointed.
The lodges we stayted at (6 of them), were all a treat. The beds were comfortable, the food was exceptional, the staff was always warm and welcoming, we loved every evening.
The game drives were amazing, each of the parks we visitied (Tarangire, Ngongoro Crater, Lake Natron, Serengeti) were fascinating. Lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, so many types of antelopes, wart hogs. It' hard to explain how cool this experience is.
I've only done one safari, so I don't have a comparison, but Paradise and Wilderness set a high bar for me. I honestly don't know what they could have done better. Highly recommend!!
