Self drive and Safari with driver
We visited Tanzania in february for a month with our family with 2 children of 1 and 4 years old. We rented a Landcruiser with driver for a 11 day safari to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Natron. After that we did a self drive from Arusha to Dar es Salaam in a Rav4. The cars were brought to the airport and our accommodation. They are not the newest but they are reliable and carefully looked after.
The contact with Didas (and the other staff) was excellent. He responded very quickly on all our questions and was always available. Moreover he gave us useful suggestions for accommodation and the planning of our trip and he arranged 2 children seats free of charge.
Special thanks to Dixon who was not only our driver, but also a great guide and great person.
If you want to be flexible and plan your own trip in Tanzania we strongly recommend Gladio adventures!

Self Drive for 10 Days
We rented a Rav4 for self-drive for 10 days in February. Didas was great before, during and after answering my MANY questions. The car itself had a lot of mileage (200,000 km), but worked fine! There was free delivery of the car to our hotel in Arusha, we then left it at our hotel near the airport (for a fee). Our security deposit was refunded right away when the car was returned. During the time that we had the car we drove to Lake Manyara, Arusha park, Lake Diluti, coffee plantations near Moshi etc. We had planned to go to Lake Eyasi, but the roads were too difficult for us. In retrospect, it would have been better had we hired a driver/guide for at least half the time (for Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara), and then done the other part on our own. We rented the car in early February, after it had been raining a lot, and some of the roads were flooded and difficult for us. Having an experienced driver on hand would have allowed us to enjoy the trip more. However we strongly recommend the company.

4th time to Tanzania. Gladiola Adventures is the ABSOLUTE best!
I’ve now been to Tanzania four times and after using Gladiola Adventures on my second visit I never looked back. We asked for and were assigned Lalashe Mollel on each trip. Why? Because seeing Tanzania through the eyes of (and heart of ) Lalashe is experiencing the country through the eyes of a brother. Mr. Mollel, who is Maasai, has over 8 years experience in leading safaris and his knowledge of the flora and fauna is boundless. Your experience with Gladiola will NOT only be a visit to see an amazing country and its unbelievable wildlife but an insight into what makes the country such a welcoming destination: its people. Didas the owner, Simon and the company’s other drivers who did airport pick up all reflect the same qualities we found in Lalashe. The vehicles are checked EVERY evening and tuned up but then this is a company that puts its clients’ safety at the forefront. I can’t recommend Gladiola Adventures enough. Asante sana, Gladiola. We hired a jeep and guide for a day trip to Arusha National Park.
Good communication, very responsive and helpful owner, Didas. Reasonably priced and very happy with our guide Michael. So it was a successful day, saw everything we wanted including the Flamingoes. I thought the jeep was a little bit old, but it did the job well. Would consider a longer trip next time we come to Tanzania.

6 days self drive and camping in Ngorongoro and Serengeti
We just came back from a 6 days self driving safaris trip and camping in the Ngorongoro and the Serengeti National park !
Gladiola have been simple perfect, from the booking, the car delivery, the Land-cruiser with roof tent that we hired as well as the follow up as we were driving in the parks. Lalashe was on call H24 for us, and ready to assist or answer our questions immediately !
This was simple above my personal expectations.
We are already thinking about our next trip in the region, and I already know that I will not look anywhere else for the rental.

Trustfull company and people
Everything was working fine with Gladiola but especially with the owner Didas.
We rent a toyota Landcruiser on self drive to get into Serengeti for 4 days.We took contact with Didas, got a fast answer, payment was made as fast.
Arriving in Arusha i wanted to see the owner, Didas was very friendly, no problem appear, the car was then a few day later brought to Karatu, return was also in Karatu, the driver was punctual, paid me the 300 USD Bond back on return day.
I would recommend Gladiola without hesitation.

Wonderful people, safe, fun and unforgettable!
This was my first experience traveling to Tanzania and Africa, but my fellow travelers have gone before and worked with Gladiola. We were so impressed with the welcoming nature and kindness of the drivers, Lalashe and Simon. We spent nearly 2 weeks driving around Northern TZ and I always felt safe and comfortable. We had a blast seeing wildlife on safari and just as much fun learning about the culture while visiting villages markets and the countryside. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Gladiola to friends or family.

Fantastic, memorable, ethical, responsible, sustainable and one of the best guides we've had in 40
Excellent all round and a complete 10 out of 10! My husband and I have just spent seven incredible days on safari with Saimon as our guide and Abdul as our cook. What an experience that will truly live with us forever! We advocate ethical, responsible and sustainable tourism and they delivered completely. Loving all forms of wildlife from small to large and birdlife we saw the big 5, huge number of birds and so much more. Saimon's ability to spot from a distance was brilliant and his immense knowledge of Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara gave us many advantage points away from others. Abdul was a great cook and we enjoyed a varied menu including lovely local dishes and we certainly didn't get hungry! All our campsites were in beautiful locations and extremely clean so don't discount basic camping as an option. We cannot recommend Saimon, Abdul and Gladiola Adventure enough!

Nice people that delivered everything we asked for
We had contact through email about our tour planning. Reponse was very fast with nice recommondations. The tour guide was very friendly and drove very safe. We had a great time in all the parks we visited (Ngorongoro, Arusha, Lake Manyara and Tarangire). Next time we will book again with Gladiola!
