Amazing experience
My friend and I saw Big5 and spectacular views. Photos cannot show how beautiful it is.
Our guide was awesome! He knows everything about what we were curious of and very good at explanations! Learning Swahili from the guide was one of our favourite time in Tanzania :) Thanks to Lion King Adventure for giving us such a wonderful memories!
Super recommended.

Highly recommended and reliable team
This is my second time having safari tour in Africa and i actually had a bad experience with my last safari tour in Aug 2019 due to poor arrangements. I lost some confidence with booking safari tours in Africa but Lion King Adventures nailed it.
1. They are responsive to emails. Answering all your questions with detailed explanation. **Highly recommended especially if it's your first safari experience.
2. Our guide David was professional and informative. Although we spent only 5 days together but he gave us a reliable feeling with his honest and humble personalities. And a big plus point that David is a true environmentalist, he takes care of the recyclable/reusable waste like beer bottles and plastic bottles properly.
3. Before i book, i felt a little fishy about their 5/5 ratings on TripAdvisor and Safaribooking.com but after my trip, i can truly understand why they have perfect scores and reviews online. Plus we did not feel that they are being nice only for the sake of getting good reviews or tips. I did feel the passion and their positive attitudes at work.
Thank you Lion King.

We had a truly memorable experience that exceeded all of our expectations: they are the best!
I, my wife and our two kids went on an 8-days safari with Lion King Adventures to Tarangire, Serengeti (North and Center), Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, followed by 5-days extension to Zanzibar. When planning our trip, Pendo was always extremely kind and helpful. We made some personal suggestions to the initial plan, which were readily implemented, in a timely and efficient manner. Our private tour guide Ozzie picked us up at the airport in Kilimanjaro and dropped us off there in the end. He was a great company throughout the Safari, always very friendly, funny, supportive and knowledgeable: we were so lucky! Ozzie knew everything about the parks and wildlife and was amazing at spotting animals. He was even patient enough to teach us some Swahili words. It was a fantastic trip and a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, we saw a lot of animals, including the Big Five (in less than 24 hours!) and the wildebeest migration. Even with the Covid19 pandemics, everything went smoothly. The lodges were fantastic, with excellent accommodation and food, and Covid19-related health security measures were in place: we always felt secure. We had a truly memorable experience that exceeded all of our expectations, and highly recommend Lion King Adventures: they are the best!

7 Day Tanzania Safari
My wife and I just returned from a wonderful 7 day/6 night luxury safari in Tanzania. Throughout the process, Lion King Adventures (Pendo) was excellent and provided all the necessary information and answered any questions we had. Our driver/guide, David, provided great service and was able to answer any questions we had throughout the trip. Each evening David would brief us on the plan for the next day which was great! It was also a perfect balance of safari/driving time and time spent at the lodges enjoying the pools and drinks. Experience of a lifetime!
Also I would like to add that even though the world is experiencing a pandemic, we never felt safer! All lodge staff took the necessary precautions. I would actually recommend traveling now because the low amount of tourist made the experience even better!

The best Safari Experience that you could imagine, they will help you in everything!!
We were on our honeymoon and it was the best experience that we could have imagined.
From the first moment the Lion King team helped us with all the details of the Safari according to our demands (Thanks Pendo!!!). They have helped us with the hotel reservations and we have all our information updated in all the accommodations. We are both celiacs and Lion King advised all the places, so we had any problem with it, normally it is very difficult in some cases, but here all was perfect. Pendo helped us with the cancellation of one internal flight with Air Tanzania too, so we are very grateful with her.
We took the luxury option in the Safari and all the accommodations are absolutely amazing, we were in the middle of the National Parks surrounded by lots of animals. It is an incredible experience.
During the Safari every detail was considered, the Jeep has all the things that you need. Our guide Good Luck was the best, he was always looking for the animals and he was the first to see a lot of them like the Rhino, Cheetah, Serval cat, Lions, Leopard, lots of Elephants, etc. absolutely amazing. He picked us up at the airport and at the end of the Safari they drive you to the airport, so you don't have to worry about anything.
If you are thinking of going to a Safari and have the best experience with no problems Lion King is your best option.
Wish to see them again soon, Dani & Laura

Tanzania Beckons
When it's minus four degrees in Amsterdam, Tanzania beckons.
We hopped on the plane to JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport), and got picked up by our guide Oswald, the Great, the Knowledgable. For the following 8 days he displayed expansive knowledge of Tanzania's history, it's game-life, about the reserves, the Masai and so on. A great and funny conversationalist and with binoculars for eyes, helping us to spot even the rarest of animals-- due to these super-eyes we've managed to see five black rhino's in the Ngorongro Crater and several cheeta's (some even during a prowl or hunt). Oswald also proposed alternative lunch spots, during our safari days. We managed to eat in the 4x4 jeep while being surrounded by a large family of elephants in the Serengeti -- a sight we will never forget--. Thanks to him we've seen all the animals we expected and much more, he explained us about the symbiotic relation between vultures and simba's (Swahili for lion) and showed us animals that were wounded, rejected by their mates and much more. Overal a tremendous, invigorating and inspiring journey, that was taken care of from the moment we landed to the minute we left mainland Tanzania for Zanzibar.
The accommodations that were arranged by Lion King Adventures were nothing but splendid. Staff was welcoming, respectful and aware of COVID protocol. Highlights were our stay at Maraboi Tented Lodge, with a wonderful floor manager and an amazing bed-side view of lake Manyara. Zebra's, wildebeests, giraffe's, warthogs and several monkeys walk the ground, thus doubling as an luxury stay and safari in one.
Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge, at the end of our trip, had the best room by far! And Ole Serai Luxury Camp in south Serengeti, had some Masai as employee's escorting you from you room to the restaurant and back. A truly unique experience, having a Masai guard whilst dining under the Serengeti night sky.
Another recommendation would be staying a day or two, after landing in Kilamanjaro, at River Trees Country Inn, relatively cheap, beautiful landscaped gardens, a river, the cutest colobus monkeys, that do their rounds between 17:00 till 19:30 and a great place to get climatized and ready for the safari journey.
Safari means being in the car a lot. We had a great 4x4 jeep, where lunch and beverages were taken care off. The car broke down two times, which isn't unheard of seeing the sometimes rocky terrain one needs to traverse (it's a safari after all) but Oswald was knowledgable, not only of the environment and the country, but also of car-mechanics. We've always felts save and in good hands.
Lastly, I would like to compliment the staff (Pendo!) of the Lion King Adventures. After forgetting my iPad at one of the lodges, they managed to retrieve the iPad and handed it over personally when we returned to Arusha at the end of our trip. In comparison to other (European) companies, we felt Lion King Adventures gave us BY FAR the best BANG for our BUCK. Plus we would definitely recommend everyone to consider investing in the more local companies of Tanzania such as Lion King, as a large part of the Tanzanian economy is reliant on the safari tourism.
In the end we spent around 2800 dollar (with all COVID discounts) per person for 8 days of full service (dinner excluded), where we had beautiful rooms every night, the best service, and have been able to visit three national parks and a conservation area (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongro Conservation Area & Crater and Lake Manyara). The only thing we would do differently is attempt to stay a day or two longer in certain parks, making the entire trip more relaxed (packing and unpacking every day can be tough) -- our personal preference would be staying extra days in the Ngorongro Conservation Area, as it has the most diversity of all the places we've been --in it's overall landscape, flora and fauna--.
In short, just book it. You won't regret it.

Magical experience, an abundance of animals and perfect guide and accommodations!
We have just returned from a trip of a lifetime with Lion King. Our guide and driver "Goodluck" lived up to his name and use this experience and skills to get us up close and personal with 64 lions, 2 Leopards, 1 Cheetah and countless Elephants, Baboons, Zebras, Giraffes, Jackals, Hyenas, Warthogs and game. We upgraded our accommodations in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater which was a wise move as we have several night of luxury in the wild with specular views. One of our party had stomach issues and Pendo and Goodluck leapt into acton providing medicine and world class care. Overall if you are going to take this one in a life time adventure make sure you do it in style with Lion King and request Goodluck as your guide!

Very well organized!
We were a group of 4 and were planning our trip to Tanzania for a couple of month in advance. We found 3 Safari trip vendors, which we were considering and comparing. The Lion Kind Adventures was selected pretty fast as a final vendor to be booked and for us seemed to be the best choice!
And we were completely satisfied with the services provided! Especially during the pre-trip planning. Pendo (our manager) was very professional and she helped us with very single question we asked. She was also recommending the best options (as were thinking to take less days) and eventually 5 day safari (instead of 4) is definitely the best time frame for such trip if you wish to see 3 main parks!
Gilbert - our guide was very friendly! What i like the most is that he was driving very safely!

Professional, extremely accommodating, patient and outstanding service.
Our driver, Gilbert was amazing. A warm, patient, knowledgeable and sincere human being. I travel regularly and, I wish I could say this about all the folks I’ve interacted with. My daughter who accompanied me is a blooming birder but, I never informed the tour liaison of this so when we realized the degree of his knowledge, we were most pleased. All accommodations were upgraded free of charge so, this was an added bonus. In synopsis, I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator without reservations. Kudos to me for a wise choice as there are thousands to chose from.

Lion King Adventures goes above and beyond to make your dream safari the trip of a lifetime.
Having dreamt of going on a safari for oh-so-many years, it is an understatement to say that my expectations were exceptionally high.
After an 11 Day Safari & Beach excursion with Lion King Adventures, I’m delighted to say that our expectations were blown out of the water. My wife and I truly had the trip of a lifetime filled with unforgettable memories, spectacular sightings, and authentic Tanzanian experiences.
From beginning to end, the entire Lion King team was kind, considerate, and professional. Their expertise is indisputable, and we consider ourselves very fortunate for having booked with them instead of any other safari company.
Our itinerary took us from Arusha to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Zanzibar. This route provided us with a wide-ranging experience of the landscapes – and most importantly, the wildlife. Frankly, we were able to see just about every animal big and small on our bucket list – including a rare and intimate encounter with a leopard that courted its mate right next to our vehicle for several minutes.
To my surprise, the accommodations were extraordinary by any standard. Elegant, lavish, and luxurious, many of the places we stayed at could easily fit in as a swanky all-inclusive in Dubai or New York. But I doubt those locations have wildebeest greeting you for breakfast and hyena’s serenading you at night!
Tanzania is a stunning country with incredible eco-diversity, lush landscapes, and friendly people. I’m thrilled that we chose not only Lion King Adventures, but the country as our destination.
Finally, I’d be remiss not to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Lion King Adventures' team who helped make our dream safari vacation a reality.
The booking process was greatly facilitated by Pendo, who promptly and smartly answered what must have been a thousand questions – and she was awesome and attentive throughout it all. From itineraries to hotels, to transportation, or covid protocols, she was always on it. Thank you, Pendo!
Lastly, a special thank you to our guide, Goodluck, who is easily one of the most knowledgeable, charming, and charismatic individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every day, Goodluck went above and beyond to not only be a great host but to ensure that we had the most rewarding experience possible. Thanks to him, we had so many rare moments and up-close sightings that only a few lucky souls get to witness. We’ll cherish these memories for a lifetime. Asante sana, Goodluck!
For anybody who has any doubts – don’t. This is a beautiful and eye-opening experience that has left us with long-lasting perspective. And Lion King Adventures is who we wholeheartedly recommend taking you there.
