Unforgettable Experience
We had a magnificent 6 day safari with the Lion King and our fantastic guide Benjamin (Benji) who did everything to ensure we had an unforgettable trip.
The journey went from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, where we saw huge herds of elephants and giraffes. Afterwards we spent the night at Manyara's Serecret with fantastic food and sunset over the lake.
The trip continued to the Ngorongoro Crater which did not disappoint and with the densest population of wild animals in Tanzania we saw pretty much everything. Even the soulful rhino showed up. We ended the day at Nyota Luxury camp in the central Serengeti. A really delicious camp that can only be recommended. There were super friendly staff, fantastic food and then you got really close to the animals. We thus saw both, lions, leopard, hyena, buffalo, monkeys, the cute dik dik and an elephant in the camp itself
The next day we managed to see the rare leopard and we also saw a cheetah with cubs that had just killed a prey.
The last few days we spent in the northern part of the Serengeti, where Benjamin managed to find the wildebeest crossing the Mara more than once. We actually saw it three times, such a surreal experience!
Benjamin was always attentive to our wishes and very patient in finding the perfect experience and not least pictures of the trip.
We therefore got very close to the rare Leopard and got some fantastic photos, just as we managed to experience the crossing of a huge herd of wildebeest.
It would not have been successful without Benjamin, who knew what he was doing and each time managed to find the animals we wanted to see. We even got to see the cute mongooses on the last day.
Everything from planning the trip, choosing camps, payment and execution was perfect
If you want the Best Tour operator for your safari, choose Lion King and ask for the Nr. 1 Safari Guide Benjamin. You will not be disapointed!

Amazing safari experience with a great guide!
Our family of four went on a safari of 8 nights with Lion King Adventures in July 2024. The booking process was handled very professionally and it was easy to adjust the safari according to our wishes. The best adjustment we did was to add an extra night in Serengeti (three nights in total) which we think is an absolutely magical place. In comparison to the other quotes we got from companies based in Europe, the quote from Lion King had significantly more safari days for the same price.
When we arrived in Kilimanjaro Airport we were a bit nervous about the upcoming experience. This was our first trip to Africa and we didn't know exactly what to expect. After meeting our guide, Benjamin, we immediately felt in very good and competent hands. We are very, very impressed with the way he organized our safari days. He took care of everything for us, was very pleasant to be around and was incredibly dedicated to make our safari an experience of a lifetime.
Everything on the safari was exactly as described in the itinerary - or even better. All lodges were great and in beautiful locations. During the safari we saw an amazing amount of animals. We saw all the big five more than once and so much more including lots of animals very close to the car (but we felt safe at all times). When we asked about the options to see the great migration, Benjamin arranged for us to take a full day going to the north of Serengeti. There we were very lucky to see a horde of wildebeest crossing the Mara river. This would absolutely not have been possible without a very skilled guide.
On a safari you spent very many hours in the car. This was no problem as the Lion King cars are well-suited to the conditions with pop-up roofs, good seats and a fridge with supply of water and soda. Also, Benjamin is a very good driver, which really makes a difference under these circumstances. We also had a few other activities such as visiting a Masai-village, a guided walk at the edge of the Ngorongoro crater and a visit to the market in Arusha. These activities were nice additions to the game drives and gave us the chance to learn just a little bit about the people of Tanzania.
We can give Lion King our warmest recommendations. They do an amazing job and you can be certain to have the experience of a lifetime. The only drawback is that we can't wait to get back! And when we do, we will certainly ask to have Benjamin as our guide again.

Lion King made my family feel safe, welcomed, and pampered during a wonderful safari in Tanzania.
Initially I booked directly with Lion King for my family's first safari because it was substantially cheaper than booking through a U.S. travel agent. Ultimately, I am delighted that I booked directly with Lion King because once we arrived in Tanzania every detail of our trip was taken care of. Our guides treated us like long lost family, our tours were well-planned and executed, and our accommodations were excellent. Our travel vans were very comfortable and reliable (we did witness break-downs of several Safari vehicles from other companies). From my first contact with Lion King to our return to the U.S. communication was prompt, responsive and clear. My family - aged 17 to 75 - all loved our guides Mwita and Joseph, and were amazed by the animals we saw. We appreciated our visits to the Masai and Mataruni villages, and believe we got great value and service for our investment. Many thanks to all the staff at Lion King, and especially Mwita and Joseph.

The adventure of a lifetime
Lion King Adventures are truly professional in everything they do. Pendo presented very good quotes out of the requests me and my wife had and was very quick at replying my emails and getting the booking forward. Pendo was very accommodating at all times and made us feel comfortable and safe with choosing Lion King Adventures for our first African safari.
The safari car vas big and really comfortable to spend the safari days in. We had unlimited water, lots of soda and even wine, even though me and my wife don’t drink alcohol. It was there just in case we changed our minds.
Both me and my wife recommend our driver and guide 100%. We can say we were super lucky to get to spend 6 days with Manu. Great sense of humor, witty, very knowledgeable as regards the flora, the fauna, the animals habitat, the life of the animals and much more. Manu really knows how to make you feel good. Manu has many talents, singing being one of them, but most importantly he caters for your needs and makes sure you get a really great safari experience. If possible, ask for Manu as your driver and guide. He will definitely not disappoint you.

Perfect Travel,thankful oz and Richie
This perfect trip allowed me to get to know Tanzania again. Our guides were replaced by two, but both of them were perfect. They made us feel sincere and valued! This travel agency is very mature, and the guide not only took us to see animals but also taught us a lot of knowledge along the way. I have recommended other Chinese friends to come here. Olina expresses her gratitude to the two guides, oz and Richie

An incredible experience! Thank you Mwita for being our amazing guide!
With so many tour companies to choose from, we initially picked Lion King because of their excellent communication and clear presentation of our itinerary and options. Our guide, Mwita, grew up in Serengeti National Park, so has outstanding knowledge of the animals and the area. He is friendly, accommodating, and was a pleasure to spend our 6 day adventure with. We started off in Arusha, and from there went to Tarangire, memorable especially due to our amazing encounters with elephants, then we visited a Masaai Village and got to learn about their tribe and community, and traveled onto Ndutu while seeing lots of zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes along the way. While in Ndutu, we saw incredible animals, including many lions, their cubs, a leopard, cheetah, ostriches, and many others. The following day, we went for an amazing hot air balloon ride with Serengeti Balloon Safari which ended with a wonderful outdoor breakfast. The whole family loved it. Then onto Serengeti National Park where we saw more elephants, hippos, and a croc. We spent the night at the beautiful Nyota Luxury Camp, where the food was fantastic and accommodations breathtaking. We then traveled to Ngorongoro Crater, where the animals are everywhere, from flamingos to Cape buffalos and black rhinos. On our last day back to Arusha, we stopped at Mto wa Mbu to stretch our legs for a quick tour of the village known for its bananas and rice fields, and visited wood carvers and the local market. Overall, it was an incredible time and we are thankful to our guide Mwita for showing us his beautiful country!

An Unforgettable Adventure with Shafino! - A Tanzania Safari Journey
**An Unforgettable Adventure with Shafino: A Tanzanian Safari Dream**
Embarking on a 7-day safari through Tanzania with the remarkable guide, Shafino, was nothing short of life-changing. From the moment we set foot in the Serengeti to our final farewell at Ngorongoro Crater, every moment was a symphony of sights, sounds, and discoveries.
Shafino's expertise is unmatched. His keen eye effortlessly spotted the most elusive creatures, from majestic lions lounging beneath acacia trees to graceful giraffes grazing on the horizon. With his wealth of knowledge, each animal became a story, each landscape a masterpiece.
Beyond his expertise, Shafino's passion for Tanzania's wildlife and conservation is palpable. Every story he shared was not just a fact, but a testament to his dedication to preserving this natural wonder. Whether tracking a leopard through the dense undergrowth or witnessing the thunderous wildebeest migration, Shafino's love for the land was infectious.
The accommodations were a perfect blend of luxury and immersion in nature. Waking up to the sounds of the Serengeti, with giraffes passing by our tent, was a surreal experience. Each lodge and campsite was carefully chosen, offering not only comfort but also a genuine connection to the environment.
What truly sets Shafino apart is his warmth and genuine care for his guests. His enthusiasm for sharing Tanzania's treasures made every day a new adventure. Whether we were savoring a bush breakfast overlooking the plains or sharing stories around the campfire under the star-studded sky, Shafino made us feel like family.
The highlight of our journey was undoubtedly witnessing the Great Migration. Words cannot capture the sheer magnitude of thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving across the Serengeti. With Shafino by our side, we felt like explorers in our own National Geographic documentary.
As our safari came to an end at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, we couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and gratitude. A week in Tanzania with Shafino had been more than a vacation; it was a soul-stirring journey through one of the world's most extraordinary landscapes.
For anyone seeking an authentic, immersive safari experience, I cannot recommend Shafino enough. His knowledge, passion, and genuine hospitality elevate the journey from a trip to a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Thank you, Shafino, for opening our eyes to the wonders of Tanzania. We will carry these memories in our hearts forever.

Amazing experience! Wow!
From booking our safari right through to the end of our trip the communications and service were excellent! We were looked after really well from arriving in Arusha to the drive back to the airport for our return flight to Zanzibar and felt safe in their reliable hands. Fredy, our guide was amazing, he was so passionate and enthusiastic to show us as much as he could. His head was forever swivelling from side to side on the look out, pointing out animals we would have missed. We always knew there was something to see when Fredy stopped the vehicle and sat for a few minutes just looking, nine times out of ten he would point something out to us that we would have missed completely. His knowledge of the animals was second to none. We saw the big 5 plus the great migration, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, empalas, gazelles, cheetas and lots more. At all times we felt completely safe in his driving and the vehicle whereason on several occasions other guides were stuck in mud but only our driver out of several other guides had the correct equipment to pull them out. I was surprised to find several washrooms in the parks that were exceptionally clean, something that had been worrying me. Our guide Fredy was very patient with me and my many "washroom breaks". It was only when we went deep into the Serengeti that the "bush toilet" came into use. The lodges we stayed at were beautiful but in particular we loved Kitela Lodge. The accommodation and staff were exceptional, (especially Veronica, the chef) and I would recommend this to anyone who wants comfort, good food and service. Overall, value for money this was worth every penny we paid and I would not hesitate to recommend this "5 day luxury best of Tanzania Safari", believe me you won't regret it!
