A wonderful trip of a lifetime
5/5

Our safari with Lion King was just perfect right from the start until the end. We couldn't have imagined a better guide than our guide Oswald - he seemed to always know where the animals were and did everything to make our experience unforgettable. We saw the Big Five and much more during our five days. Lion King is an extremely professional company with vast experience and top vehicles. Communication with them was effortless and fast throughout the whole booking process. We had to do COVID-19 tests in Karatu before flying back home, but our amazing contact person Pendo at Lion King took care of everything and we didn't need to stress about anything. I would recommend Lion King to anybody hoping to have an experience of a lifetime as we did. Thank you Lion King!

We only done 2 days but we literally saw everything we came to see .
The highlight though was our guide Alex , Alex has 30 years experience doing safaris and his wealth of knowledge helped us enjoy the trip even more so .
120 percent would recommend

Best trip and memory of my life
5/5

You cannot go wrong by choosing Lion King Adventure Safari company
We had an amazing one week trip
We arrived to Kilimanjaro airport, where our guide picked up us, then went to Lake Manyara at Maramboi, then went to Serengeti passing by Ngorongoro conservation area and spent 3 nights there at KubuKubu. We did flying safari with balloon which was amazing as well, and then spent two nights at Kilimamoja
Everything was well organised, and we saw so many animals
James the owner is passionate about his job and Halifa our guide was great and spoke perfectly French, English, and Swahili
He was good to find the animals, was a good driver and was able to answer all of our questions perfectly and was super patient
We were very happy and a an amazing time
Also our itinerary was perfect and the lodges were wonderful
Nothing wrong to say, you can only be happy by choosing them
We went there end of April during rain season but no problem about that and no rain at all !
And they are also very respectful about nature

Excellent
5/5

We just returned from a 11 day safari and beach with Lion King adventures. From booking our trip on safaribookings, we were taken care of very well. Pendo from Lion King Adventures was prompt in her communication and updated us with new travel changes and airline and country travel requirements due to the pandemic. Once we got to Tanzania, we were picked up by the arranged driver and taken to our first accommodation. We really enjoyed staying at Arusha Travel Lodge and the next morning was picked up by our awesome safari guide, Richard. Richard was so knowledgeable about the animals and he had an eye of a hawk. He was able to spot the animals from so far away. He knew exactly where to go to see the animals. He seemed to be giving directions to other guides around the park who were probably not as experienced. We saw all the big five animals and more. Tanzania exceeded our expectations.

I was worried about encountering lot of insects but there seemed to be less than what we encounter back at home and aside from a couple of mosquito bites and few tsetse flies, we had no issues. Tanzania has done so well in managing the coronavirus, we felt like it did not exist there.

When the hotel we initially booked in Zanzibar was closed for part of our stay, Lion King upgraded us to a 5 star hotel with no charge. We really appreciated that.

I only have fond memories and good things to say about this tour operator.

Excelent Service and amazing guide
5/5

The organization of the trip including the communication upfront was excellent and the team was super helpful.
Our tour guide was Musa and he made our trip unforgettable. Ask for him as your guide. He speaks German and English. He has a super good knowledge about the places, animals and everthing around and it is fun to go with him.
We visited 5 national parks in 6 days and Musa made all days amazing and tried to find with his experiance all the animals we wanted to see.
Serengeti including a night or 2 there is a must.

We enjoyed every minute and also the recommended hotels from lion king (mid priced) were all clean with friendly personal and good food. Highly recommended. Not loud beside the wilderness animals...and that's why you book a accommodation in serengeti

Professional, extremely accommodating, patient and outstanding service.
5/5

Our driver, Gilbert was amazing. A warm, patient, knowledgeable and sincere human being. I travel regularly and, I wish I could say this about all the folks I’ve interacted with. My daughter who accompanied me is a blooming birder but, I never informed the tour liaison of this so when we realized the degree of his knowledge, we were most pleased. All accommodations were upgraded free of charge so, this was an added bonus. In synopsis, I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator without reservations. Kudos to me for a wise choice as there are thousands to chose from.

Once in a lifetime Safari
5/5

Lion King Adventures exceeded our expectations. Everything was well arranged for our trip, we booked the 1 week luxury safari tour, it included the accommodations, the meals and the tour guide with the open roof Toyota safari SUV.
From the the day of the arrival the driver “Mwita” was waiting for us in the airport he took us to the first hotel we spent our first night and explained to us the tour program. The next morning we started an amazing 6 days safari tour starting from the amazing Tarangire National Park and ending in the Wonderful Serengeti National Park. “Mwita” the driver was very knowledgeable, respectful, polite and patient with us and all our questions about the animals and the culture in Tanzania. I highly recommend this company if you’re looking for the once in a life time safari trip.
Also you have to visit the Massai tribe, it’s a must don’t miss it.

Safari Dreams Come True with Lion King!
5/5

A safari has been a dream of mine as long as I can remember, my husband was open to the idea but not as thrilled. When you look up Lion King Adventure reviews, they are all amazing, and let me tell you, the real deal is just that and so much more!! I could not have pictured a more perfect trip! After being cancelled due to covid, we were nervous to finally be able to go, but we had to have a covid test upon arrival, and we felt safe the entire trip! We did the budget safari, and loved it! from being picked up at the airport to Peter (Petro) was our tour guide, and he was extremely knowledgable of the animals and went into great detail as we came across each one. He was knowledgable of the roads and where all the animals were, making sure that we saw the big 5 and more! Each day we had the BEST breakfast, lunch and dinner made by our wonderful chef Yusuph. We were able to see a herd of elephants with a brand new baby and lions mating in the Tarangire, every turn we made there were animals to see. In the Serengeti, we were able to see multiple prides of lions, including one eating a wildebeest, a leopard napping, hippos in a pond, a mother cheetah teach her cub how to hunt a Thompson Giselle and a rabbit. The cub even put his paws on the front of our vehicle to get a better look at us. We also saw many elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and giselle. On our last day in the Serengeti, we were able to go the hippo viewing area and watch two males battling, and be within mere feet of young lions. Before heading to the Simba camp ground (which was SO beautiful and was our favorite camp spot), we went to the Maasai village where were able to see their culture and how they live, it was beautiful. Ngorongoro Crater was wonderful and we had a delicious breakfast on the side of a pond with hippos as the sun was just coming over the mountain. We were able to see the Rhino, even if from afar and helped us to complete our big 5! There were flamingos and other birds that we were able to see up close. We ended our day at Panorama Camp and besides the stunning view, we were able to celebrate our anniversary where Petro and Yusuph get the performers and all staff to come out singing, dancing and hand us a personalized cake. It was very special. Our last day was in Lake Manyara full of foliage and baboons. I am biased, and my favorite part was being able to see the elephants in this park even though we were told they may be tough to see. My favorite part is the elephants and Petro made sure we were able to sit and watch them for extended periods of time. We were also able to see a lion with a black mane which was fitting as we drove in the car named Scar. It was pretty incredible. There were countless animals and adventures, you just need to check it out to see them all!

From start to finish, this was one of the best experiences of my life.
Pendo was so helpful and clear with expectations and being sure to answer my questions quickly through emails. Emanuel picked us up at the airport and was so friendly and helpful. Petro and Yusuph were the best guide and chef, making us feel comfortable and helping us out thoughout our safari. And lastly, meeting with James at the end was just another reassurance that this is a company who cares about the experience that Lion King clients have.

I would most definitely use them again and refer them to family and friends.

Excellent Safari
5/5

This was the vacation of a lifetime. Lion King provided an amazing safari with many animals seen. Gilbert is an excellent guide and I recommend him highly. He was exceptional at spotting many animals. By the end of the trip, he fit with the namesake of Lion King as we saw 74 lions during our trip. Ms. Pendo was always on top of setting up everything and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Great Service, Great Price, Great Value
5/5

After visiting Africa with A&K a few times, we decided to be adventurous and go with Lion King Adventures this time. We did a 12 day tour of Tanzania with Lion King Adventures, and we had the most amazing time. Lion King Adventures was very responsive, and planning the safari was easy with them. We stayed at similar types of hotels that we stayed with A&K before (e.g. Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge), and the service was at 90-95% of the A&K service at 60% of the cost.

We had a private vehicle, and our driver Salehe was amazing - really nice, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Salehe made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. He also has an amazing eye for seeing the smallest of animals from a distance. We saw all the animals we wanted to see with Salehe.

The safari itself was more than what we expected - talk about lions climbing trees, a huge pride of 17 lions, lion cubs with mothers, memories of elephants up close, etc. We went to most of the "regular" national parks, but we also tried one off-the-beaten-path region called Ndutu in the South Serengeti. The experience at Ndutu was mind blowing - lots of animals and not as many tourists. If you are in the right season, we highly recommend visiting Ndutu.
