An Amazing Safari Experience with Gilbert from Lion King Adventure!!!
5/5

An Amazing Safari Experience with Gilbert from Lion King Adventure!!!
We (family of 4 with 2 teenage boys)had a luxury safari 7n/8d package and it was worth every penny. Let me start with Gilbert our Safari Guide, he was fantastic with his knowledge based on the animals we encountered. He worked hard to give us the best safari experience we could have imagined. His driving skills were excellent and always considered our safety. I have traveled extensively to many countries so I have encountered all types of tour guides. Gilbert was very professional and considerate to our interests. Every game drive was exciting even got our teenage boys interested. I promise, you will have a lifetime of memories when you have Gilbert as your safari guide.

Special thanks to Pendo for coordinating the safari trip with me and patiently answered all my questions. I have shopped around and I believed Lion King Adventures offered the best value safari package with 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️accommodation. I am very pleased with Lion King Adventures. I will definitely request for Gilbert as our guide and use Lion King again.

The perfect travel partner, if you want to enjoy and unforgettable experience in Tanzania
5/5

Thanks to the organization of Lion King Adventures we had an unforgettable journey in Tanzania. We booked a 7-days Kilimandscharo hike and a 7-days safari trip (Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Ngorongoro NP, Serengeti Central and North). We enjoyed the kind, rapid and professional communication whilst planning our itinerary, which ended in a well-organized, magnificent and safe trip. During our trip we always had the feeling that the people of Lion King Adventures we met are loving what they do, as we enjoyed the conversations, information we received (culture, flora and fauna) and hospitality.

Thanks to experience of Saladini and Abdi, our guides during the Kilimandscharo hike, we made it to the Uhuru Peak right in the moment, when the sunrise started. Our safety and well-being was always secured by a fantastic team – we really enjoyed all served (in our case) vegetarian dishes. Richard, our safari guide, made sure that we had the chance to see countless of animals, including the big five and several river crossings at the Mara River. We had the chance, thanks to his support, to see a lot of lions and cheetahs.

A big thank you to the whole team for a trip, which will stick in our minds like the Everlasting flower on the Kilimandscharo. Maisha marefu!

Safari was special, I didn't experience such emotions before
5/5

I'd like to highlight 3 moments

1. What animals I've seen:
At Tarangire, we were lucky to see cheetah chasing after gazelle. Good shots. We watched lions too, but they were sleeping and chilling after meal. We also saw all common animals like giraffes, buffalo's etc.

At Ngorongoro we saw almostly the same common animals, but also a bit hippopotamus from the water, flamingos, bigger band of buffalos
and the landscapes was more magnificent.

2. About my guide Immanuel:
I liked scientific facts and magiс stories about animals and plants that Immanuel told us. I guess plenty of them I wouldn't ever get to know without him. Also, he was patient when we translated his speech for non-English speaker. He is responsible: was punctual and drove professionaly; easygoing, such good vibes.

3. About massai and monkeys.
I must warn you that Massai ask a lot of money for their souvenirs. As the guests we had a moral obligation to pay for it. So if you don't want to splash out, don't be afraid of negotiating or even refusing, because they are peaceful, nice people and shouldn't  bother.

While having a lunch we faced cute monkeys. They wanted to steal all of our bananas, but our guide protected our loved bananas from them. He knows the "monkey-body language" which I find the funniest thing to watch and I have a good memories about it.

This journey definitely inspired me to learn more about Tanzania and Africa.

Unique and unforgettable experience with David & Karim
5/5

We have done the 4 day safari with the following itinerary.
- Day 1. Tarangire
- Day 2 and 3. Serengeti
- Day 4. Ngorongoro

First of all, we would like to thank our guide David for the professionalism demonstrated at all times (high knowledge in wildlife, vegetation, birds and Tanzanian culture, as well as ability to explain with a high level of detail anything in Spanish) and our chef Karim that throughout the trip has earned our nickname Mr. Delicious for all his good food both international and Tanzanian. I would definitely recommend this unique and unforgettable experience to anyone, and above all to share it with the Lion King Adventures team (David and Karim) who have treated us with much love, kindness and respect.

I am extremely happy we choose Lion King Adventures for our safari. Great experience!!
5/5

I am so happy my friend Jesit selected Lion King Adventures for our safari. Right after meeting our guide, I knew I was going to enjoy the safari. Our guide, Osi, was very professional and caring. He was very knowledgeable about the different animals and the country itself. He was very patient with all of our request and questions, especially since I didn’t do my homework for the safari. He promised and he delivered. Pendo who arranged the safari was available via phone for any special requests and answered our questions in regards to our accommodations. I highly recommend Lion King Adventures and Osi as a guide. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Amazing first safari experience!
5/5

We did a 3 day safari with Immanuel as our guide and it was excellent. Immanuel went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time and saw as many animals as possible. He was extremely knowledgeable and clearly prided himself on learning as much as possible about the parks, animals, plants and everything in between. He never missed the details! He had a positive, upbeat energy. Our accommodations were absolutely beautiful. And Pendo who organized our safari answered a million questions we had and also went out of her way to make sure we had a good time. All in all, it was our first safari, and we are very happy we chose Lion King. We would use this company again if we were booking another safari and would love for Immanuel to guide us again.

A Lifetime Amazing Experience!!!
5/5

Before anything, I didn't have any idea on how to get a Safari or what to expect about it. As a world traveler , with years of experience, I like to do everything on my own. I book flights, accommodations, and so on. A Safari was a challenge, so I started searching about it. I thought that by simple typing the words: African Safaris in google I would get easy answers and solutions to my search. No way. It was more confusing because you have to answer so many questions yourself.. Where do you want to go in the safari, what country? What is the best time to go ? What kind of animals you are looking to see? What safari company to choose? How many days ? etc. I decided to review all the comments from different Safari companies. I checked the review rates from other people who has been in safaris before. Then I selected The Lion King because of all the reviews I read about them. Trust me, it is worth it to check for all the different reviews from different Safari companies. That way, you start getting an idea on what to expect and you can get answers to your questions. The Lion King is a reputable organization. From the first time I asked for a quote, I received a very personalized treatment from Pendo who contacted me via text messages. She organized and coordinated the safari having on mind my personal requests and budget. At the safari, we had Osy ( Oswald), as our tour guide. Osy has a likeable personality. He is very outgoing, with a good attitude, great driver, very attentive, very punctual, and knowledgeable about the animals of Tanzania. We were very satisfied for what we saw. No words or images can express the great time we experienced. Thank you, Pendo and Osy. Thank you God for the opportunity you gave me to experience nature in this safari. I highly recommend The Lion King Organization as your safari operator choice.

Amazing! Don’t even look at another company!
5/5

I wish I could give this company 1,000 stars! Not only do I feel like I stepped into a National Geographic documentary, I feel like I stepped back into a classroom. Gilbert, our guide, was so knowledgeable. I learned so much!! He would point out things we didn’t even see and it made the experience so much better to get a holistic view of the nature and animals here. We did an 8 day mid-range safari and went to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, lake manyara and the Serengeti. If you can do it during the Great Migration I highly suggest it! Watching the wildebeest cross the river was amazing. Gilbert knew exactly what to do - he knew which wildebeest to watch that were going to cross but also used the radio to see what else everyone was seeing. Because of that we saw 3 crossings!

We saw so many things because Gilbert was on top of it. He was like - hey, there’s a lion up here so let’s go!! He helped us prioritize what we were seeing and because of that we saw some rare sights (like a lioness stalk a wildebeest and pounce)! He was also very respectful of the animals and nature. I did feel like some other companies would get too close to the animals or keep the car running but you can tell Gilbert really enjoys his job because not once did I feel like we were interfering or bothering the animals. We let them be and just watched them in their natural habitat.

This company also took care of little things you don’t think of like: always telling you when a bathroom is coming up, phone chargers in the car, lots of water, where ATMs are, etc. From the time we arrived at the airport we didn’t have to do anything. Gilbert met us and took care of us the entire way. It made things SO much easier to just sit back and enjoy.

The accommodations chosen by Lion King were amazing as well! The bush camps had robes and flip flip sandals for the shower - the food was delicious, the people and service were amazing. Also some of the places do laundry if you want to pack light (which I highly suggest). Plan on getting dusty!

You need good binoculars! They have some but it’s not ideal to share so bring your own. also a good camera with a telephoto lens if you want photos! You can rent one for a couple hundred dollars. Take probiotics before you leave :) There is WiFi at all the camps and lodges but mostly in the main area - not the rooms. However we had decent service most of the time. I had LTE in the middle of the Serengeti!

If you book with Lion King I promise you will not regret it!!

Amazing honeymoon with Lion King
5/5

Our experience was amazing. Ozzie was our tour guide and Yusuph was our chef. If you choose to pick Lion King (which I 100% recommend) ask specifically for Ozzie and yusuph. They are a great team that enjoy their jobs and eachother. Ozzie was extremely knowledgeable with all the animals, plants, culture, and indigenous culture. He answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable at all times. He let us know the schedule for the next day, every day and was with us from day 1 at the airport. During the safari portions he was constantly listening to the radio shared by other operators to see if there were any rare animals around. At one point this paid off as he quickly moved us so that we could see a cheetah up close. Ozzie is an amazing tour guide and an even better human being.. Yusuph is by far the best cook I have ever met. Every meal we were met with fresh food, he woke up at 5 or earlier most days depending on our breakfast time to make our lunch for the safari and then our breakfast. Every dinner we had a 3-course meal that you just couldn't stop eating. We truly felt like a family at the end of the trip, we even exchanged phone numbers to keep in touch. Thank you Ozzie and Yusuph and thank you Lion King Adventures!
