Honeymoon Dream Safari
We chose Lion King Safari for our two-week honeymoon in Tanzania.
From the very beginning, we felt completely taken care of. The team at Lion King gave us excellent advice, listened carefully to our personal wishes, and designed an itinerary that fit us perfectly. Throughout the entire trip, their communication was fast, warm, and reliable — we always felt supported and well looked after.
The lodges and hotels they selected were absolutely beautiful, each with its own charm and wonderful service. Our safari guide, Suleiman, was fantastic: incredibly kind, a truly skilled driver, and extremely knowledgeable. He showed us so many animals and taught us a lot about wildlife and nature in Tanzania. Thanks to him, every game drive felt special and memorable.
The food throughout the two weeks was also consistently very good — another highlight of the experience.
We are super happy and will remember our amazing honeymoon for a long, long time. Thank you so much, Lion King Safari, for making our trip unforgettable!

What an amazing Experience to last in my memory for the rest of my life
From start to end our tour was organised really well. We were collected on arrival in Arusha by Charles and taken to our first hotel. From then on in Tanzania we were looked after by Haruni. Our safari experience was just magical, Haruni made sure we were comfortable and saw everything on our bucket list including the big 5. One thing which was lovely was the warm lunches everyday as opposed to the lunch boxes other tours seemed to have, it was great having a hot lunch with pasta or rice everyday after being out all morning. The communication while arranging the trip was spot on and even when we got to Zanzibar the office made sure our transfers were all arranged. There were lots of tour companies to choose from so we were really pleased we had chosen Lion King as they were ethical and the guide was really knowledgeable.

I highly recommend
I recently returned from an unforgettable safari in Tanzania, and the entire experience was absolutely excellent. From start to finish, the team was caring, attentive, and truly committed to making sure every moment was memorable. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five—each sighting more incredible than the last.
The accommodations throughout the trip were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, offering a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Every detail, from the game drives to the lodging, exceeded my expectations.

We had a fantastic experience on our private safari with Lion King. The planning to execution was handled professionally by the team as given in the itinerary. No room for surprise or panic. Nickson Anderson was the first point of contact from the team's side & I was really impressed by his approach & answering all my queries patiently. Our guide Leonardo was also a fantastic & knowledgeable young guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 days safari with no glitches whatsoever. I approached Lion King based on online reviews & they truly are a very reliable company for best service & value for money. We are glad we chose them as our tour Operator for our first safari to Africa. We came back with a lot of happy memories on our amazing 6 day trip

Great communication and well planned trip which allowed us to see everything on our ‘bucket list’.
Communication with Head Office in Arusha was excellent from initial inquiry to arrival in Arusha. Our guide and driver (Deo) was extremely polite and pleasant with a good knowledge of all the animals. He made every effort to allow us to obtain excellent views and photographs of the animals.
Possible lack of knowledge by Deo and unclear communication by the office of the accommodation used by the company in the northern Serengeti led to difficulties in finding one camp but all was resolved by Deo using his initiative and making enquiries.
All in all a great trip with the migration of the wildebeest being our highlight and one that we have raved about since returning home. Would recommend.

Magical, private northern Tanzania safari experience tailored to us
My husband and I went on a 9 day safari with Lion King for our honeymoon and we LOVED it. Lion King was responsive and great to communicate with from the very beginning. They answered all our questions and tailored the trip to what we were looking for, despite us changing direction ourselves a couple of times. We wanted an experienced, locally-based company (northern Tanzania) and one that is transparent about how things operate, all of which they are. Their prices were fair and in-line with the services we received, which was a spectacular 9 day safari in a private vehicle to 4 different national parks, focused on what we wanted to do and see.
Our guide, Ozzy, was phenomenal and we could tell how experienced and professional he was from the start, and quickly learned how patient he was as well, as we spent plenty of stops looking up random birds and other creatures that other tourists likely don't care as much about. We saw a truly stunning number of unique animal species throughout our trip (over 100) and many individuals of quite of few of those species. We were lucky enough to see the big 5 (most of them many times), and though a lot of that is just luck and good timing, we were grateful for Ozzy's experience and communication which allowed us to track down where some animals happened to be at that time. We were also excited to see whatever we could, even if it was the "less glamorous" safari creatures, which was a great part of our experience and one that Ozzy helped back up as well by pointing out anything and everything as he picked up on what we were intrigued by.
Our safari vehicle was wonderful, kept miraculously clean by Ozzy despite all our dusty shoes and such, and very comfortable and spacious for the two of us. It was perfect for us to move around in and get all the photos we wanted, which was also super important to us. By the time we were done with our safari, we had seen so many other companies' vehicles broken down, yet I still had no doubts whatsoever of our Lion King vehicle or Ozzy's driving. We felt safe, taken care of, and confident in all aspects of our safari, really without a doubt.
We went with what Lion King calls "mid-range" accommodations (which they arranged for us) and all of them exceeded our expectations, especially being out in the bush. Staff at all the locations were wonderful and the food was excellent, including the hot lunches we got out in the parks.
Overall, we had such a spectacular time on this trip, as our first time to Tanzania and to the continent, and it was largely due to such a great tour company, tour guide, and all the amazing things they helped us see and experience, and we would highly recommend both Ozzy and Lion King Adventures to anyone looking for a Tanzania safari!

Amazing!

Great tour operator for families of all ages
Lion King adventures met every expectation. We had wonderful accomodations that felt so luxury but didnt cost the price you would expect. Our guide was knoweldgable, an amazing driver and very accomodating to our families needs. We left feeling we hadent missed anything on this family trip of a lifetime.
