All the Big 5 with the Best Guide Around!
Immanuel was the best safari guide we could have ever asked for! He was so kind and accommodating the whole trip and he answered all of our questions. He has such a love for his country and the animals of the parks so his energy was electric! Even though he’s been doing safaris for a while now, he still has the same excitement we did for all the animals. He set up an amazing sunset spot for us our last night in the Serengeti, which was truly a once in a lifetime experience.
We were lucky enough to see cheetah chasing after prey, lions galore - literally like 20 of them in the Serengeti alone, and all of the big five! We had multiple times where our car was the only one near a lion or cheetah crossing the road and it was magical. Immanuel’s immense knowledge had our car positioned in the perfect spots multiple times for animal crossings before they even happened. We thought it was luck at first, but then we realized it was Immanuel’s knowledge of the animal behaviors that had our car positioned in the perfect spot each time.
Immanuel taught us so much about the animals and their typical behavior, that we are coming out of this feeling like experts! Each day he had a perfect picnic setup for our lunches of amazing rice, meats, and potatoes. He would even make us an afternoon coffee to keep us energized for the game drives. We had such a fun time with Immanuel and we cannot thank him enough for making this experience a once in a lifetime.
We cannot wait to recommend Lion King Safari and Immanuel to all of our friends and family that want to visit Tanzania in the future! All the lodges we stayed at were very comfortable with great food! We feel so lucky to have chosen this company as our safari experience - 20/10 experience!!

A wonderful journey with Lion King Adventures
We have had a wonderful trip in Tanzanian natural parcs. Since we contacted Lion King Adventure, we knew they are the right local travel agent we were looking for. They proposed us exactly the trip we wanted to live, beyond expectations. They were very reactive and careful to understand our needs and wills. At our arrival in Kilimanjaro airport, we were picked up by our driver and guide Khalifa (Speaking both French and English). His professionalism, knowledge of animals, smile and happiness were the confirmation that we choose the good company! It was the beginning of an amazing trip in parcs to discover animals and nature! Khalifa was very helpful to explain us all about what we were discovering! All the trip was as planed: lodges were beautiful, lunch packs were luxurious and at the end, we had chance to see the well known big 5! So, if you want to have a wonderful journey in Tanzanian’s natural parcs, don’t hesitate and contact Lion King Adventure! A small company which will become famous soon!

Amazing safari
Amazing safari experience with Lion King Adventures. We saw everything there was to see. Gilbert was a very professional and pleasant guide. He was able to spot all the wildlife for us. He is a very skilled driver and made us feel safe all the time.

Thanks Lion King. Immanuel is the best!
This experience was a bucket list item, so we had very high expectations. This trip far exceeded those.
Our guide, Immanuel, was wonderful. He was eager to show us everything, and to explain what we were seeing. It was about more than the "big 5" for us so he never hesitated to stop when we asked to take a picture of simply to be in the moment. We did get to see the 5 by the way!
More than that, we learned about Immanuel, Tanzanian culture, and he patiently listened to our stories of our homeland.
We explored Massai and Hadzabe tribal villages and shared those experiences. We learned that there is a lot of water in the Serengeti, even in the dry season. We saw elephants challenge hyenas, hippos fight each other, a leopard eating wildebeest in a tree, part of the wildebeest migration as they stampeded across the road, over 25 lions over a few days eating zebra and sleeping, 5 cheetahs, and three black rhinos.
Beyond that, Immanuel answered every question: "what is that tree; what are they selling; what was that bird; etc." So many questions from us, all answered patiently, and sometimes more than once.
What we will remember is the little things, though. Laughing and joking with Immanuel enhanced or experience. He even got lodge staff to bake us an anniversary cake and sing us a song. We mentioned our anniversary in passing the first day.
Sitting on the deck in front of a tent inside the Serengeti, drinking white wine, or sitting around a fire and meeting other travelers. There is just too much "amazing" to discuss.
A trip of a lifetime!
Immanuel was awesome through the whole safari!
My husband and I chose to go on a safari to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a great choice to make! We chose Lion King tours because they offered everything we wanted at a reasonable price. Our tour guide Immanuel was so knowledgeable about all the animals and plants we encountered. If he didn't know something he had the resources to look it up. He took us all around the Serengeti where we saw so many beautiful and sometimes very rare animals. When he found out it was our anniversary Immanuel even arranged to have a cake brought to our table by the joyously singing wait staff. Our accomodations were exactly what we wanted as well. We had such wonderful time on our adventure.

Best Safari Experience Ever With Guide Immanuel
It was the absolute best decision to go on our honeymoon to Tanzania! The animals, the landscape, the people - all made for the most perfect trip. A couple notes about our 11 day trip to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Zanzibar:
1) Lion King Adventures was the best tour operator we could have asked for. Their high rating on Safari Bookings is completely justified. We worked with Nickson and Anna through the process and they were both prompt, professional, and showed great flexibility in helping us find the perfect itinerary. While I must admit I was a little uneasy when our credit card payment could not be processed (we're from USA), rest assured, we were able to pay using Wise just fine. Just know, if the payment process is the worst part of your trip, you've picked the best tour operator!
2) Our tour guide, Immanuel, was the absolute, hands down best! I guess since this was our first safari, we did not realize just how important your tour guide is to your experience (they are your chauffeur, animal/plant expert, translator, lunch preparer, etc.) - you spend upwards of 10 hours/day with them! Immanuel was so knowledgable about every animal that we saw, it was as if we had our own encyclopedia driving us around. He had a great knack for finding animals as well as positioning the Toyota Land Cruiser in a way for the best photos - e.g. he saw some cheetahs from a long distance out (still don't understand how he was able to see them in the savannah grass...), and he drove us to the exact spot they crossed our path. Immanuel was so patient stopping for every animal that interested us (my wife loves giraffes so he stopped just about every time for her even though we saw hundreds en route and in the Serengeti) as well as giving us a tidbit about each animal and answering every question that we had. It was really great to see his excitement as well - we knew if he asked us to take a picture of a leopard in a tree or lions sleeping in front of us, it was a special moment even for a well seasoned guide! We also felt like royalty every lunch when he would set up a hot meal lunch with tablecloth and choice of beverages all aligned perfectly (this is where you could tell Lion King Adventures goes above and beyond for their clients - not many other tours had this perk, just box lunches). You can just really tell Immanuel loves his job and is pouring his heart and soul into it. On a more personal level, his English is excellent - he knew our American slang and idioms really well. He is just a really caring and selfless human being (e.g. stopping to assist other guides with car trouble and always giving our lunch leftovers to the guys cleaning the park bathrooms), it was so great to get to know him on a personal level. I hope we can stay in touch in the future!
3) All of our airport transfers and accommodations were great. We stayed at Arusha Planet Lodge, Lake Burunge Tented Camp, Eileen's Trees Inn, Embalakai Camp, and The Residence (in Zanzibar). Every single place we stayed the staff was nothing short of excellent, kind, and all had a smile on their faces (special shoutout to Embalakai Camp - our favorite spot while on safari!). The food was great at each option as well - essentially you can't go wrong with all of the recommended places from Lion King Adventures!
4) If you are thinking about doing a safari but have reservations like we did because of distance, COVID, etc. I just want to say it was 1000% worth it! It was the best trip we've taken to date and we are already planning our return trip to Tanzania. Lion King Adventures and specifically Immanuel played a big part in our enjoyment, and I hope this review gives others a sense of how great it was for us - thanks Immanuel!!

Reliable, Professional. Experienced
First up. the back office support was efficient and good, from first contact, to working through timings and amendments, to arrival on site and even a check that all was ok on return. Very impressed.
On site, everything within Lion King's control went to plan, with a friendly enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, good safari vehicle and arrangements for food and drink and accommodation. We got to see just about everything we hoped to see, and more, and had a good explore of three major parks. Slightly pricey, but given all went to plan and we had an excellent trip, no complaints at all.
Would certainly use again.

Fantastic safari lead by great guides
This was my first trip to Tanzania. We were in a group of 8 and Ozzie and Mwita took excellent care of us. On the safaris, they were very accommodating to our requests and incredibly respectful of the wildlife. They were willing to get up extra early to ensure we can see the best wildlife.
I was in Mwita’s car and he was spotting animals from incredible distances.
If there was a question they didn’t know the answer to, they would take the time to find the answer.
I would recommend these two and Lion King to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience.

7 day Lion Kind Safari
The wildlife we saw was amazing but the trip wouldn’t have been as incredible as it was without our guides, Mwita and Ozzy. They were respectful of animals, flexible with the desires of our group, and kind to everyone. I highly recommend this experience.
