Well organised, professional, friendly, high quality, great communication with pure luxury.
We chose to use Lion King Adventures due to the great reviews they received online and we haven't regretted it for a moment. Ever since we started speaking with Nickson and Pendo the communication was excellent and they organised a once in a lifetime trip for us (8 day premium luxury tour with hot air balloon ride). We added a day hike up Kilimanjaro, it was a pleasure to meet Saladin who looked after us on our 10mile hike.
We were picked up by Bright at Kilimanjaro airport who was very friendly and helpful. He dropped us off at the first of many gorgeous hotels where we were treated like royalty. All the hotels (except one) were divine with amazing views, comfy beds, great food and lovely staff. The one issue we had with a hotel was rectified quickly by Anna in the LK office and it didn't affect the enjoyment of our trip at all.
Salehe was a brilliant guide. He worked so hard, always made us feel comfortable, welcome and at ease. He showed us great sights and we managed to see all the big 5 plus many more. We even learnt quite a bit of Swahili due to his great tutorship. Salehe went above and beyond to make our trip sensational.
Thank you Lion King it was amazing and we highly recommend anyone to use you.

Beyond perfection!
We are just back from an absolutely magical twelve-day trip to the parks of Northern Tanzania. The services provided by Lion King Adventures exceeded all our expectations (and we tend to be demanding customers!). We had a totally smooth and beautifully organised trip, perfectly adjusted to our needs and tastes. We were blessed with an exceptionally talented and experienced guide. A real expert in wildlife, he also knew how to proactively adjust the programme and rythm of the trip to our preferences. Friendly and witty, he proved remarkably thoughtful at all times, taking advantage of his thorough knowledge of the area to propose practical solutions to make the trip even more enjoyable to us. In particular, we insisted on exclusivity and privacy, not wanting to be disturbed by crowds of other tourists during our encounters with animals: our guide managed to meet this demand, which was quite an achievement in parks that tend to be very popular. He had a well informed and sensible answer to each and every question we asked (and we asked a lot, being curious about the wildlife as well as the country). Our guide was receiving an effective back-up from the headquarters of Lion King Adventures, with which he remained in constant close contact to arrange security and logistical details in real time. We always felt safe, considered and taken care of, which enabled us to fully relax and enjoy the experience of these unique parks. As a result, several moments of the trip were simply unforgettable, like Northern Serengeti, Lake Eyasi and Tarangire. The services in Arusha at the beginning and the end of our trip were also excellent: the company met our last minute requests without delay and at no additional cost, which was one last nice surprise. From an ethical viewpoint, we appreciated the commitment of Lion King Adventures to the environment, to their country and people, and to the standards of responsible tourism. Were I to go back to Tanzania, I would directly contact Lion King Adventures, not bothering to ask other tour operators: the company’s reliability, level of service and professionalism can hardly be surpassed.

Life Changing Experience
The entire experience was AMAZING. Yusuph, our guide was INCREDIBLE!!!! I appreciated how he always kept checking with us to make sure we were ok, sometimes the road was bumpy. Throughout the day he made sure we were having a great time. Yusuph was very knowledgeable about the areas and the animals. He answered all of our questions and had a book about all the animals right there in the front seat. He allowed us to stay and watch the animals for as long or as little as we wanted. I strongly recommend Lion King Safari and if you can get Yusuph as your guide you are guaranteed a amazing experience. We will miss you Yusuph!

Awesome experience
Lion King Adventures delivered fantastic service, surpassing our expectations from planning to end.
The team helped us plan our trip, providing details and quick answers to our many questions. We made lots of changes to our itinerary before booking, and this was always doable with patience and great advice, like where was best to do certain activities to enhance our trip. We went for the mid-range accommodation and all were good food and service and very accommodating to our timings.
Our guide, Mwita, was amazing. He knew so much and his love for Tanzania and enthusiasm were infectious. He was able to predict the animals movements due to his vast experience and local knowledge being born in the Serengeti, and place us in the best location to create amazing experiences. Mwita kept us entertained and provided us with lots of information and knowledge while we waited for wilderbeest crossings or lions mating (and we got to see both twice!). And his excitement when we did see them was awesome.
He kept the vehicle in a fantastic clean condition and always stocked with cold drinks. He worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything went to plan. We always felt safe and secure, completely trustworthy.

Incredible local company with brilliant guides who built us a perfect personalised experience!
We have just got back from a safari with Lion King Adventures with Mwita as our guide and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough! From Rose & Pendo answering our (millions of) questions ahead of time and helping us build a personalised itinerary to the actual safari itself where we covered Tarangire, Serengeti (central & North), Ngorogoro and Lake Manyara - everything was perfect. Our trip was made by our safari guide Mwita who was incredible, so thoughtful and focused on making our trip perfect. He was so knowledgeable about Tanzania and the animals and a genius at placing the safari vehicle where the animals were going to head to (rather than just joining a crowd of cars where they were ) setting up intimate experiences with leopards, lions and elephants crossing in front of us! He was genuinely passionate about the animals and his excitement was infectious - especially when we saw the wilderbeest river crossing (twice!). As an added bonus he was also a mechanic, not only did he look after the car so well but he was able to offer advice to drivers of other companies who had flat tyres or broken down as well as being a great driver so we always felt safe and looked after. We wanted to book with a local company and they were the perfect one. We would recommend to everyone!

Navigating a different culture from one that you are familiar is always a challenge. Losing your luggage in a foreign country is especially challenging.

Best Safari experience!
We just spent 6 days on Safari (incl.: parks of Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti) and was the best trip we ever made!
Our guide, Gilbert, was extremely knowledgable about the ecosystem, explaining us everything with a lot of detail. Also, he was very experienced in finding the best spots to observe the different animals, as well as a very skilled driver through the different terrains of the parks. We highly recommend Lion King Adventures for their attention to detail, professionalism and wonderful staff.

Fantastic
Our nine-day trip exceeded all expectations. Everyone we worked with at Lion King Adventures was top-notch, giving us invaluable help from the early planning stages through the end of the trip. Nickson, Pendo, and Anna were patient and informative as we tailored our itinerary, fielding all manner of questions and setting us up with an amazing safari-- one with a great balance between comfort and bush experience. When it came to the wildlife, our guide Freddy was unbeatable. With twelve years as a guide, he knew all the ropes of the Northern Tanzania safari circuit: the terrain, the animals, the guides, the roads, the camps... everything. He was motivated, eagle-eyed, a great driver, and determined to give us the incredible experience we ended up with. These were full, full days, and somehow each day was my favorite. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
