Excellent Safari Experience
I booked the 7 days (6 nights) luxury Safari with Lion King back in 2020. Unfortunately just before departure the sanitary crisis forced me to postpone this vacation. Lion King was very understanding extending the validity of the deposit payment by 2 years.
Pendo, the travel agent, was extremely helpful, precise and timely in her communication, patiently answering any potential question or concern within a day and with great accuracy, and I felt in good and safe hands at any time.
The entire Safari was extremely professional and smoothly organised.
Our guide was Richard who is a fantastic guide. He is a very careful and good driver with mechanics knowledge and a well maintained and always clean Safari vehicle. Out of the approx 15 broken Safari jeeps we saw on the road, he was able to fix 2 of them :). Richard has an extremely thorough knowledge on animals, flora and local culture. He knows when and where each single animal prefers to eat or rest and is well connected with the other Safari guides, which helps spotting them in the wild. We where able to see the Big 5 and many other beautiful animals and he was at least as enthusiastic as us when spotting them. Richard was very attentive to any of our potential needs or preferences.
My advise would be to spent at least 2 full days in the Serengeti and to visit one Maasai village, which has been a fantastic experience as well.
I can highly recommend Lion King for your Safari as well as Richard as your guide. Try to get him especially when you plan to visit the Serengeti, he loves this place at least as much as you will love it.

Great Safari with one of the best guides in Tanzania.
We had a wonderful time in Tanzania and even saw the Big Five as well as the migration on our Safari. We spent the whole time with our Guide Ozzie who led us to all the important spots on the right time and did everything so that we could enjoy our journey. We felt very safe and welcomed all the way up to the North of Serengeti. Special thanks to Ozzie for his excellent guidance.

Unforgettable experience
Lion King Adventures created an exceptional 7-day safari for us. James, Rose, and the entire team were very professional and responsive at all stages of the organization. Our trip took us from Lake Manyara to the great migration at the Mara River, through Ngorogoro, and on to Tarangire. Our young guide, Enock, was unfailingly energetic and professional, always alert, smiling and enthusiastic. The welcome in the lodges was particularly warm. A very nice trip. We recommend them.

Very professional tour operator with top trained guide(s)
Lion King Adventures always responded to us very quickly by e-mail when planning the trip (enquiry, offer, checking availability, confirmation of accommodation), often the same day or otherwise the next day.
We asked for a German speaking guide and they were able to confirm this with the booking. We spent 9 days with Emmanuel Mashoke, its currently only guide who speaks German quite well. His knowledge of flora and fauna was very good and he was able to answer all of our many questions. He was very kind, courteous and committed to ensure that we could observe and photograph the animals from the best possible perspective.
The safari was fantastic for us and we were very happy to have been with Lion King Adventures.

Magical safari which not only met but exceeded our expectations!
We were on the Northern Circuit safari tour with Lion King Adventures with our family of 4 in July-August 2022 and it was amazing! From the initial inquiry to booking, paying, pre-briefing materials and finally the actual safari everything went exactly as had been promised and planned.
We were met by a driver upon arrival at the airport and taken to our hotel for a night in Arusha. The driver was telling us interesting things about Tanzania as well as the villages which we passed though on the drive. He also provided a recommendation for a restaurant for dinner for the night in Arusha, which proved to be an excellent choice.
The following morning our guide Abu met us at the hotel and we started on our journey. We toured Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater over the next 7 days and saw all of the animals (the big 5 and much more!) were hoping to see, and so many more, many that we didn't even know by name before seeing them live in one of the parks (or didn't honestly even know they exist). Abu was very knowledgeable on all of the animals, as well as nature in general, and was able to answer all the questions we continued to ask all the time. And the few times he didn't know you could be sure the next morning we set off he would tell us as he looked into it overnight! He was also great in engaging with our teenagers.
Absolute highlight was our second evening in Serengeti on the way back to our lodge we came to 4 lionesses resting by the road, or on the road, and as we watched 4 more came to join them! And there was no one else, all the other vehicles had already gone - absolutely magical!
What we didn't even realize when we started off on the safari was what a nice benefit it was to have a hamper lunch, i.e. a warm proper lunch, every day along the trip, compared to most other safari parties which had lunch boxes instead. This was a really nice addition!
Accommodations were nice. As the safari was a luxury safari perhaps our expectations in some cases for the accommodation was based on that and hotel standards, so perhaps we did not always agree that they were luxury level, but all-in-all all of the accommodations were good, spacious, neat, food was good and we got a good nights rest. It was definitely something to remember staying for some nights in the tended lodges and heading the lions roaring somewhere afar as you settled down for the night.
It was definitely a trip of a lifetime for our family and brought us memories we will cherish for years to come!

Excellent Service , Tour Guide and Vehicle
I usually do not write reviews but this is the first exception i am making because of the level of service and commitment shown by Lion King Adventures to make our Tanzania Safari a blockbuster Success. From the day I got connected with Lion King Adventures Nickson , He presented me with the best itinerary and followed through with many of my changes and questions, throughout last one year we talked so many times and he was always there to address my questions and gave me the confidence to travel all the way from US to Tanzania making our Safari a special vacation. . Once we landed as promised the pick up at the Kilimanjaro Airport , the Vehicle provided for Safari and the Guide/Driver (Ozzie) provided was top notch. Special Shout to Our Tour Guide/Driver Ozzie , he was very funny , knowledgable of all Tanzanian Parks and showed us so many different animals at different sightings in our Game drives. Because of Ozzie hard work we were able to see some wonderful sightings. Our high lights that stay with me for long time are below
1) Around 45 lion sightings in 2 (3 hour) game drives in Central Serengeti
2) Wild beast Migration (Mara River Crossing) at North Serengeti
3) Hot Air Balloon ride in North Serengeti
4) Leopard eating Wild-beast left over on tree sighting at Tanzania & Kenya Border line
5) Elephant group in Tarangire National Park
6) Elephant, Lion, Giraffe, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Ostrich - Road Crossings

Much more than expected
Just perfect… We had an excellent guide - Mwita managed always to find perfect spots and is very experienced! We visited Taranguire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara - especially our 4 days in the Serengeti were truly amazing and much more than expected - all the animals that close, the landscape… The organisation was perfect as well and we had excellent lodges / camps! Thanks for the amazing experience!

Safari tour in good hands. Any time again with Lion King Adventures
Organization was very well from first itinerary proposals over booking, payment, pick-up and the entire trip itself. Very smooth and friendly. Our driver and guide Matcha did a great job finding wild animals, giving us explanations and driving us around safely. We would book any time again with LKA.

Made all our dreams come true
Best trip ever! I highly recommend it. It was worth every penny.
I booked a 6 day 5 night safari with lion king adventures back in January for august 2022. From beginning to end the service was great. Pendo assisted us to make sure we were able to stay at the accommodations of our choosing. Our tour guide was Good Luck. When meeting us, he asked us what our favorite animals were to make sure that we could spend time seeing them. Every morning he would start the tour by telling us where we were going and a little about the area. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and was able to explain to how to differentiate between males and females, tell us about the cubs, food the animals eat, their prey, and so much more. He made sure we were able to see the big 5 and spent extra time finding the animals we were interested in. He would also move around so my fiancé could get the best pictures possible. Additionally, Good luck was able to tell us about the different tribes and cultures in the area. I highly recommend him.
We stayed at the gran melia Arusha, Gibbs Farm, and Melia Serengeti. Each place was great however Melia Serengeti is pretty far in central Serengeti and therefore you have to drive a while in order to see animals during the game drive. If you would like to get up and just see animals I would not recommend staying here. Gibbs farm was absolutely amazing. Everything you eat here is from their farm and they have so many activities for you to do.
Lastly, I will mention we had no problems with communication. Everyone spoke English very well.

Exceeded our expectations
Wonderful experience from pick-up at the airport to drop-off five days later. Actually, organizing everything beforehand via email was already a great experience.
I had compared a few tour operators before booking, and Lion King Adventures stood out in their quick and very detailed responses and the additional information they offered, which was very helpful for people like us who never traveled to Tanzania before and had never been on a Safari before.
We had an amazing five-day Safari (four days with game drives in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara). David was such a friendly and helpful guide (and great driver in these tough conditions), experienced and knowledgeable. He made sure to be in the loop about where which animals were sighted and brought us there. We had seen the Big 5 on the morning of our third day, including two rhinos in the Serengeti.
The cars seem to be well-maintained since ours brought us safely through our four days without any troubles. Based on the many cars that we did see who were not that lucky, I assume it has something to do with how well they care after the vehicles and/or how they drive.
Since we were traveling as a couple, we had it very comfortable in our car (6 seats) and always had more than enough to eat and drink. Luckily, the leftovers were not binned but shared with local workers or friends of David.
Oh, and the accommodations were all amazing and comfortable, while also unique. The Embalakai Tented Camp/Lodge in the Serengeti was a highlight, but we also very much enjoyed staying at Eileen's Tree in
Everything was planned nicely and the tour allowed us to see much more than we had expected. Would I recommend and book with them again? Definitely!
